@@ilvaporizzatoreYes! years ago there was a lovely little diorama in Fine Scale Modeler magazine of an old school Mom and Pop model shop from his childhood. The builder used very small scale models, 1/700, 1/2500 etc, to represent the finished model kits on display. Doll house and scratch-built items comprised the fixtures, and scaled down printed kit boxes and magazine and book covers filled the shelves and racks. Quite charming.

You did a great job mate, and its so satisfiying to build your own home by yourself. I did the same in 2007, i bought a house it was build in 1891 and last time modernized in 1973. It´s real interesting to see that you heaten your water vor the heaters with eletricity, here in germany this would be expansinve as hell.

Soon as I saw the start of the rebuild, I know everything had to be inch perfect! (UK measurement, 12 inches to the foot (13mm is around 1/2 inch)), but what a grand job you have done David. 👍🤗

It's just another model...lifesize, lol. I share your experience, the place I live in needs a massive amount of work, thankfully the new owner is a construction contractor and has the skills/contacts to get the work done quickly and efficiently. Much respect to you for taking on the project yourself, not many could do it.

Absolutely incredible! We recently had our kitchen redone by contractors and only laid the floor ourselves, and I thought that was stressful enough. Much respect for doing it all yourself!

Wow, incredible work! But then again, leave it to an experienced, perfectionist modeler to do a more precise finish than construction workers! I wish you lots of good times and comfort to you and your family in the many years to come! 😊👏

Glad to see you again. Was worried something had happened. That was a lot of work. But, as with your model videos, you made it look easy. I know from doing some reno work on an old house that you did what you did took an incredible amount of work. Congrats on the fantastic results. You are incredibly talented and dedicated.

It was really nice to watch this video. I'm a civil engineer in Brazil, and seeing how construction happens in other parts of the world is a way to learn new things, as well as to find similarities. Congratulations on your new home, and I'm looking forward to seeing the new designs!

Finaly, good to see you back. I'm simply flashed, how well and accurate you did all the stuff nearly alone, to get a new place to live in with your family. They can be proud to have you as their partner and father 👍
I'm looking forward to new, fresh model videos.
Kind regards from Berlin, Germany ✌🏻

Good to see you back David. I feel for you Amigo, Did the same thing to my tiny shack and added some rooms. good job, keep it up, it is modeling in full scale you could say. I love that bathroom sink, what we here in Texas call a farm style kitchen sink. That was a beautiful wooden countertop. Great job, David. Glad you have a better place to live, I enjoyed this as much as watching you model.

Well, your skills and attention to detail scale up just fine. That was fascinating and very well done. European materials and practices seem much ahead of ours and make much more sense. Truly a daunting task. Thank you for sharing.

Happy for you. As it looked pretty old before you went into making all the work. It is always a pleasure to install oneself, at last, after long months of hard work, in a new home. You must really, really feel better and happy now. And you went through quite a bunch of work to do! Great job, almost as great as with your model kits.
