Great video! Some people complain that the Sony FX6 is too sharp and looks like video. Well, the big problem is the Sony lenses. As great as they are, they’re a little too crisp. And they don’t have the saturation and organic look of old Nikkor lenses. I don’t know the case for all the lenses but my 24 F2 and my 35 F2 AIS lenses have more color saturation and better contrast than the my regular AI versions. After that I bought all the rest AIS.
Thank you! I totally agree. I love Sony lenses for photo & corporate work where I care less, but they’re too sharp. That’s interesting that you found a difference between the AI and AIS, from my research I heard that they’re optically the same the biggest difference is the smaller focus throw. I need to buy some more haha.
Weather sealed lenses arent just for rain... also for dust... be careful of pollin and dirt.. ive had lenses that i cant unfog or get dirt spots off the inside

Thank you for your wonderful review.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching.
Love this!
Thanks Jon! Really appreciate it.
Gotta love E Mount adaptability... dont have to worry about what lenses can adapt.. they all do lol
Yup! It's a really nice feature.
$20 USD lens! Wow what a great deal!
That exchange rate is just too good for our friends to the South.

Great point! I try to not film in environments that are going to get my camera wet or dirty but we all know sometimes it just happens.
you fail to metion that nikkor focus the other way from all other glass and wil mess you up as you learn to pull focus manualy
Very good point. You can purchase a reverse follow focus system to mitigate that issue.
