What camera setup are you using? Extremely clearer than most? I don't know how you guys walk around and not get robbed or tired with those cameras, lol. Does it feel awkward recording people when you are walking around?
I'm from cambodia but i can speak eng i'm in grade 6 and 9 yrs old now
That’s a typical Cambodian papaya salad. I remembered eating it in the 60s. I miss it, I miss all of Cambodian street food. I love them all. Thank you for sharing our food to the world.

18:24 It's called Nom Ka Chhai or Chive Cakes. It's like Dough mixing with chive and garlic. Sweet fish sauce is a must and she added chilli sauce plus red chilli paste. That's a perfect combo. Now m getting hungry 😋. Can't wait to go visit my hometown this year !!!
My favorite
as a khmer i approve that this is true

YaY Chris you tried the frog! Well done you! I was very impressed by your willingness to be so open to new things....I am not sure I could do it without knowing what I am eating.....but you might just have inspired me. My favourite was definitely the pancake....spice and all. You and Gladys are opening up a whole new world with your videos.....looking forward to the next one 🤩😁😊
Glad your posting this video on Cambodia food not everyone knows abouts Khmer food so I really appreciate it's 🙏

i love how you interacted with the locals and it was a gem to see you meet someone from LB. subscribed!
Thank you for the Cambodian tour It nice to see your home town I never been back for 40 year now.
It is quite entertaining to see a foreigner enjoy our street food that much. I am sure that during filming a lot of people on the street looked at you in amaze. The guy with Honda Moto is the seller of Nhorm Lahong “papaya salad” and the noodle is called Num Banhchok. And the lady sells “num Kuchhai” or Chive cake, my favorite street food.
Bravo to u Chris for trying the frog which is out of your comfort zone 👏 You're def right to try something once when you're in a new country. I wish to travel again someday. Right now just living thru u and your RUclips vids 😃😁
Yeah 🤣 it's kinda weird to try as a Foreigner
Really enjoy your video. I left my country to study abroad for many years. This bring me back to all the memories and imagine how good is the food taste like.

Once again my brother you knock this video out of the park. I loved the look of those waffles my man. I’m a coconut crazy man. As for the frog, you’re a braver man then me. The boba tar look amazing and you couldn’t get one here in Australia for less then $10 that size. Keep the videos coming. You guys are killing it.
Thank you Chris for sharing your Cambodian street food experience. I am now addicted to your channel as well as Gladys one. Thinking of going there maybe next year for a short holiday. Watching your video might be a great help. Anyway wish you the very best wherever you are and please stay safe and healthy. Take care & God bless! Cheers!

Thank you for visiting my country! It's nice to see Americans traveling to Cambodia to do a food tour. It doesn't happen too often. I'm from Fresno, CA & the Boba tea here is around $5-6. It's deal💲 over there! Hope you have a safe travel and have fun.

That's really good to see you review food in Cambodia. Hope you will try other dishes such as traditional food or traditional sweet. They're really amazing.
Glad You Atleast Tried It! There's Plenty More Khmer Food You have to Try. Your Next Trip Has to Be To Philadelphia FDR Park During Season, Lots Of Southeast Asian Venders.
Ohhh I really love Nom Ka Chhai so much. And it’s really popular for local as well. Btw, I’m so enjoying ur videos so much and mayb becoming your fan now 😂
You've really showed the positive side about cambodia. I will make a visit to that country soon.
At 15:00 the rice noodle dish I’ve always called it “nom ban chok tuk treh” meaning rice noodles with fish sauce. I also love that dish I grew up eating that since childhood and still enjoy it. We have so many delish food 🤤
Where im from we call them a poke bowl 🤣 Everytime i see one i have to buy it. My favorite 🤩

Phnom Penh vlog was really good....👌 Am sure a visit during winter will be worth it.💕✨ Lovely vlog, I am a fan now
Thank you so much! I definitely want to return!
Chris! Welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder! Loving your content! I'm American and have been living in Siem Reap, Cambodia for 10 years running photography tours throughout the country. The noodle dish you had is called yam lahon. (spelling I'm sure is wrong) It a type of a papaya salad with a sweet fish sauce. Keep up the solid content!
How is your Khmer fluency after ten years? Planning to move to Siem Reap next year
@@thelasttruegael6517 I’ve never formally studied it. I live in the countryside and can speak enough to get by most situations. It’s a great place to live. Let me know if you make the move, I’d love to show you around!
@@Edog1382 Awesome bro, I'll drop a comment on your most recent video when I'm arriving :) Also got a new sub now

I’m glad that you’re enjoying with Cambodia’s food❤
Thank you so much!
I live in Phnom Penh in Cambodia!
Thank you I enjoy your tour thank you for impressed our country ❤😊
The noodle salad you had on the street near Russian market was called “Nhoam L’Hong” (technically Vietnamese version of papaya salad with rice noodle, pork skin, freshwater krill, mixed basils and fish sauce). And the pancake is Chive pancakes/rice cake, in Khmer we call it Nom Kuchive. I believe the first meal you had at central market was a Vietnamese rice noodle soup.
Big support from Cambodia
Thanks so much!
Your video is so good and interesting, I enjoy your all video guy, I really appreciate it for I could improve my English by listening your video, I'm cambodian.🇰🇭❤️
I really enjoy watching your video so much. You’re so nice and kind. God bless you
Glad you enjoyed Cambodia Chris. Never knew you were from Long Beach. There's a sizable Cambodian population in Long Beach and even a Cambodia Town there. You should visit there and make a video one day.

It called ញាំល្ហុង which you can pronounce it as " nhoam la hong " well you actually have to shuffle it a little bit to make everything mix together well. Hope you enjoy your trip here ❤ We love you guys!!!
Love how you try everything that you see on the street.
Thank you ❤ from Cambodia
I love Cambodia I traveled there in 2014 stayed for 7 days
Such a great place right! I would like to go back and visit more soon!
Glad to see you're still out there! Cambodia is a cool place! Never made it to Serbia, though. Oh, you already KNOW how much boba tea is here in Los Angeles!
Thanks a lot bro! Wow you need to visit Serbia! It is great also! Hoping to make it back soon! Ahaha in LA it costs me like $7/8
Shout out to the homie Piset! I miss being out there! Great video bro!
Thanks you for visiting my country, Cambodia 🇰🇭 . I already taste all of food.
I’m from Cambodia I never try the frogs 🐸 so proud of you for trying
You're not cambodian if you never tried frog.
Love watching your videos. Opens the worlds eyes to a whole new food experience. 🙂
I've been watching your videos for awhile now, I do like your positive energy towards almost anything. If you really do like those food, you should visit Battambang. I miss the food there, the same food just better taste. There's a lot of rural khmer house to see that age probably over 200 years and people still living there as continues family. You'll have few mountain to visit there too and a bunch of temples but they aren't big as Siem Reap. I feel connected with nature there than anywhere else. Enjoy your trip !
Love your enthusiasm visiting Cambodia! Chive patty is made from rice flour and chives. The sauce is fish sauce and trap chili sauces. Thank you for visiting our country!!
Thank you so much 🙌🏻❤️
