Hi Chris, I moved from Cambodia to Texas. And I am in Southlake Texas with my husband and my 2 kids. Your life reminds me of my own except I gew up very poor during the war then came the Khmer Rouge which I almost die. Now I live in the state so every time I go on vacation I try to help the local as much as I could. Well done Chris.
The decoration on the street is for Khmer new year next month and the price of everything can be a bit more expensive than normal day. It is on 13,14,15 and 16 of April. It will be very fun😊❤.

Prahok Jen Jram ( ប្រហុក ចិញ្ច្រាំ ), it is made of Khmer salted moist anchovy with grounded pork. We eat it with lots of raw veggies. Prahok, however, is preserved salted fish, the smell is very intense. It is one of our main ingredients in making many Khmer dishes.

I am quadriplegic from a gun shot when someone tried to rob my car at a gas station 15 years ago and require 24 hour nursing care. If I try to work and earn more than $25k a year I lose everything and have no benefits. America incentivizing me to not work. Healthcare shouldn't be hung over my head. So I work to the limit and volunteer on boards of 3 nonprofits. Companies profiting on people not working, people in for-profit prisons and profits on these terrible foods they sell us just to name a few. Your videos are awesome and I hope these countries dont make the same mistakes as the US!
You should take a day trip out of Phnom Penh. A lunch trip to Nak Leung for lunch. Prawn dishes are out of the world. Nak Leung is the place for prawn.

fun fact.. "Tonle = River" "Sa'ap/Sap = Bland".. so its "The Mighty Bland River" :D. The river flows upstream once a year so it gets salty in the southern part. The multi colored flag is the flag for Buddhism. Those birds also fly back to the owner. :D
