So use to pointing my hook up word to create the knot affect at the start of the braid . It looks awkward the opposite way. Your braids are cute but the foundation in the back is way to bulky and the parting at the top is to spaced out . Good job tho

Wish I knew about these before my locs... Im trying this method on my daughter... but Im gunna cut her braids to make it age appropriate 🤪
That's a great idea for your daughter. Be sure to seal the ends when you cut them so they don't unravel.

Since your hair is long are these braid’s heavy? Thanks for the tutorial very helpful!
I could definitely tell the difference in weight but it wasn't too heavy to the point of causing headaches or neck pain. I hope that helps.

Thank you! ❤️🙏🏾 I haven't seen any hypoallergenic crochet box braids on the market, but I know there's a few RUclipsrs that have found a way to remove the itch and alkaline the hair with a vinegar rinse. I haven't personally tried but that may be an option.
@@CottonCreations check your beauty store they now have pre-rinsed, itch free and stretched hair. Also check on amazon. I bought some last year.
You can actually just wash the braids straight out the oxygen to eliminate any irritation.

Can I use braids without loops
I don't think I've ever seen crochet braids without the loops.
Can I use a cap in the back of head
You could but you might see the cap because the braids may not fully hide the cap

Thank you! ❤️ I do very little. I was washing and conditioning every week but for the 2021 I've been doing wash day every 2 weeks. I use Pattern shampoo and conditioner unless I'm trying out a new product. I use Kinky curly knot today and curl custard for my wash n go. I use various products for my two strand twists. I sometimes oil my scalp but not always. I usually sleep with a satin bonnet.

🤣🤣🤣 are you referring to the front? I personally don't mind because I don't like the bulky look when too many crochets are used it doesn't look good on my head size and face shape. But of course everything isn't for everybody. 🤷🏾♀️
@@CottonCreations I understand that you have a preference but as a viewer trying to learn that almost looks like walking from a hair stylist with all my tracks from a weave sewing all just showing as if it’s normal , the hair style just looks incomplete and kinna stupid ,
