Yes the butterfly locs. I did them and I hated them lol. They were so big and chunky and keeps getting frizzy and tangles. I cut them off literally in 3 days and I spent $60+ On the packs of hair. The lady on the pack had a Bob which I wanted and thought was cute. But somehow on me they were bra strap length. And made them more bulky and too much hair. I only needed two packs (of three bundles 10” 12” 14”. But I got a auburn color and hated it on my darker skin tone. I hate blonde and light on us chocolate sistas. I think it looks like we’re tryin to be white. But I like anything brown or darker for hair color. NO BLONDE! 😹 yeah so I’d love to see you do it and maybe I’d have the guts to try again. I think I’d make my own thought. I hate them turd 💩 sized lol. That’s how mine looks lol like curly turds 😫😂.
The most tricky part is how to lay them in the back over the bulky braids girl u left the best part out 😩 This looks really good ive never seen the crochet box braids lay this flat!
Great job i loved your video, i watched another video with rubber band connects. my hair is tight, but after watching your video i am about to redo my hair again. thanks for the easier way sis
BEAUTIFUL… I came across this while looking for a braid pattern. I’m looking for that same exact color and length and I guess I’ll just have to go to the beauty supply store. It is gorgeous. I would have loved to see the back thank you. It’s also been two years ago since you did this video, but I subscribed and everything anyway God bless you❤
Loving this technique. Definitely using this next week when I do my hair. So happy I found your video because I was thinking about trying 1b blended with some blonde ❤️❤️❤️
They should've thought of these crochet braids years ago...lol 🤭 It used to take me and my sisters 8-10 hours to do each other's hair! Bk in the 80s 90s....hope I'm not giving my age away but any hoo great job and yes we all use the crochet method today, saves us so much time!!!🙂❤️ Right now I'm wearing the crochet method jumbo jamaican twist and they look amazing but I wanted the crochet braids u have, my beauty supply said they sold out that's y I got the jamaican twist......I'll probably order it if needed cuz I want those braids...
Ok so I got an idea. I really would like to try this method with like the big box braids. The ones with a few braids but the cool parting designs because they do be having the bigger crochet box braids. So what if you do the different parts and put rubber bands on them connecting all of them some kinda way to wear they look like they kinda make cool designs too. Then put the already braided crochet braids in each box? What y'all think would u wear that? Could you try it out and show us how you would do that? Idk maybe it's already a thing but I haven't see it.
I know it's been a while, but with silkier braids do you have a method you recommend to set the knots? I noticed some of them seem a bit loose even with just daily movement
Where can I go in Bronx/ Mt Vernon area to get my hair like this? U see I have fine light hair medium length and when I attach this style individually, it eventually breaks off with my hair in the piece. 😢. So I figured if I cornrow my hair first it can avoid this breakage and MY hair can continue to grow. Whatcha think?
Do you have a Video of the DIY Aloe vera oil? I used the same braid pattern as you. The plates in the front where they are connected get very loose over time when pulling the hair up or pulled back into a ponytail. ANY suggestions to make sure they don't come out or stopping it from getting lose?
@@SashieETV Do you have a video on it? I just found your channel, and thank you for being thorough, especially with showing the back of your hair. What do you think about the moisturizer? I never heard of it, and I like the clean ingredients in it. Thank you for your reply.
@@marianb2530 I don’t have a video on but I can make one in the future. The moisturizer is good. Super light weight and it has a slip to it which I like. 💕

I think bc of the placement of her braids she still looks like she has cornrowed crochet box braids in the front. When done correctly the box braid look shouldn't have that big space on the side like hers does. But if that doesn't bother you just cornrow front to back. Happy Sunday! Which crochet hairstyle would you like to see me do next?
Butterfly locs, if possible!
@@TalesofaSunflower def coming soon 💕❤️

Yea I agree maybe do a vid of how u do the back
Lol and here I am thinking that deciding how many bags of hair my child will need was the tricky part 😭😭😭
They never show the back install🤬
@@fosholyfe6115 lol me currently 😫😂
SHE SAID CROCHET THROUGH THE BRAID INSTEAD OF THE SCALP AND DON'T PUT THEM CLOSE TOGETHER SO IT WON'T LOOK BULKY
You did all that within an hour? Girl, you are amazing!
Thank you, boo! And yes, this is why I love crochet. So easy and quick to install. 🙌🏽

It did 😊
How did you keep the crochet hair from slipping? I tried this but couldn't get knots tight enough on crochet braids
Very cute. I’m doing some goddess locs and this will be my base. Love this SONG! What is it. Outplayed?
Thank you very much. I'd like to try goddess locs soon! The song is Upgrade by Spring Gang Ft. Astyn Turr. ❤️

Yup I didn’t get enough hair but thanks got some great tips this definitely beats the time and the $300 people are charging
You're welcome and thank you for watching! ❤️
$300 is way 2 much I think $175 is too much.
Thanks cute hairstyle ♥️♥️
Thank you I was starting to get frustrated trying to learn this technique
Heyyy!!! Was the 96 twist enough, or did you use more?

Very nice 👌

Beautiful girl & job well done!
How long did these last, I intend my braids to last at least three months and usually renew the front.
I honestly can’t remember off top of my head. I usually remove my hair quicker than usual to keep up with doing tutorials. 😊
These look beautiful. How many packs did you end up using?
Thank you. I used 7 packs. 💕
Gorgeous
Thank you so much! 💕
You're very welcome
Luv it
Are you able to wear it in a ponytail with the braid pattern?
Can I use rubber bands for the back of the hair where it's shorter
Is the braids heavy on your head compared to the traditional braids? Because I like braids but I can’t take the heaviness it causes discomfort
Do you have a link to the hair? I love the color
You look awesome at the end you look lovely trust me what your Technique teaches really how to do it
Thank you so much 😊
What is the name of the hair please and how many packs I need please I live that style 😎
Can I use a cap in the back
Beautiful
Nice ❤❤❤
Number 30 is a better color for you. I use #30 as well. Brighten up your look instead of darker colors. Black is to dark. ❤
I'm so scared to take these on sometimes because I don't like sitting for long lol But it came out amazing
You won’t be sitting for too long. It’s really a quick and easy style. 💕
How many packs did you use to do this style
If you cornrow the front, then will it still give you the box braid look?
Yes. I’ve done it that way before and it looked nice. 💕
