Wish I would’ve seen this video before doing my crochets. Hands down the best prep method I’ve seen. LOOK NO FURTHER FOLKS THIS THE ONE RIGHT HERE!!!!!!
I just used the method 3wks ago for my french curl box braids. Never going back to another crochet braid pattern. I'm complimented everywhere I go. Everyone thinks I've got it professionally braided. Thank you soo much!
This is the ONLY start to finish detailed breakdown I have ever seen. I’ve been watching videos every night for an entire week 3 to 4 hours a night. No one shows how they do they do the back. I really appreciate you! Thank you so much!
THANK YOU!! FINALLY! I’m going to be doing my own hair for my birthday. I have distressed crochet locs I want to have installed. The stylist I was supposed to go with had a service called “crochet styles “ which I booked. I assumed that meant crochet as in crocheting and installing locs/braids into someone’s head. I called her a day before the appt just confirming with her if she can do the method without wrapping hair, because if not I would go ahead and purchase the wrapping hair. She turned around and told me she doesn’t do individual crochet styles … and that I should had called her first and that would take 6 hours and take all her time as she has other clients booked and recommended me someone else to go to that charges $300 for this style… she also said that next time this happens I would have to pay full price 😑. Noneoftheless my appt got canceled thankfully nothing charged but I’m doing my own hair tired of the non transparency and unprofessionalism they don’t deserve my time nor money so I’ll be doing it myself using this method. Thank you!!
Hey Denetta, new to the country (I'm from Kenya). Your video is an encouraging lesson on how to do my own hair. I have two questions: 1) What is the name of the product you are applying in your hair as you partition and braid it? 2) What are the pins you are using to section your hair called? Thanks 🎉
Finally found the best braid pattern ever! I don't have to watch any more. Saves time when you don't have to use the rubber bands and you showed us how to do the back. You did individuals in the neck area when most do cornrows. It's hard to cornrow the neck area so it won't be bunched up. Thanks for sharing!! 😊😚😊😊
This braid pattern is outstanding!!! The best that I have seen. Been crochet braiding for 10yrs plus!!! Thank you very much for taking the time to post this. 🙏🙏🙏
I'm frantically scrolling you tube trying to figure out how I'm going to crochet my own hair for first time. Lol there is a hair god!!! This vid was AWESOME, very detailed. I REALLY appreciate you chic! You just don't know!!
Awww I am so happy, my video was helpful!!! I hope everything works out great for your first crochet!!!! Let me know how it goes… Thank you for checking the video out!!! Stay blessed!! Peace💜💜
I really appreciate you posting this. This is the only video I have found that shows how you secure the braids in the back. I just needed to see it and you make it so easy! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for showing me the back!! I was getting so frustrated with other videos because they would just finish the style but not show how they achieved that detail! Lovely!
Girl this looks time consuming . I've done my hair like this before to install crochet braids and it took forever, but I will definitely try this method, I think it's easier than the way I was doing it. Thank you for your step by step tutorial
The braid down takes the longest but it’s still very much quicker than traditional individual braids. Crocheting the braids in after this takes 30 minutes maybe. I have thick hair so the braid down is SERIOUS 😂but I still like it b/c it’s still pretty quick hairstyle comparatively. ❤
I'd be lucky to get 3 plaits at my nape. You got FIVE!! Thanks for this video. I've had these latch-hook/crochet braids for 3 years now. I'm slowly getting the courage to install them.
You really got me believing that I can do this so I am going to order hair and try this on my 10-year-old daughter. Thanks for the very detailed video.
Girl I saw another video like this; got inspired and motivated. I only made it two rows in before my arms started killing me and that motivation flew right out the door. After watching yours, it motivated me to try again. Thank you for sharing.
Bless you 10 times over for posting this video…I need you to know that I speak for not only myself but also for many women out there who needed this detailed way to get the illusion braid pattern done the right way. Thank you so very, very much for taking the time to do this!!!❤❤
Many blessings to you as well🙌🏾 Thank you so much 😊 I really appreciate each and everyone of y’all❤️ I strive every video to make it easy for everyone to be able to style their own hair. I appreciate you!! Thank you ❤️ Peace & Blessings!!
Excellent tutorial, I keep catching my hair the wrong way in the hook when doing in and out with my braid down in the back, I never could do that, I usually stick a smaill bobby pin to keep the ends from coming through,, thanks again
Just what I was looking for. I love the way you do your bottom last roll and connect it with the French braid so the illusion will look like you have individuals in the back when you lift it great job❤
Wow, this was amazing and so helpful! I wish I saw it before I put my crochet goddess braids in. I didn’t do a row of illusions at the back and they way you wove the cornrowed pieces into itself was so smart. I kind of bulked and braided them all together in one and I regret it.
Beautiful crochet for proactive styles. This is the first in depth style I've watched. Thank you for this tutorial bc I've been natural for 7yrs and when it comes to protective styles, doing crochet is easier for me and doing this crochet parting pattern is easy to follow . I appreciate you and I've tried a similar crochet pattern before but I'll definitely try this pattern 💜💜💜
You are SO talented! I've been using the rubber band method and it takes FOREVER. Going to try this method in the morning. Full weekend of conferences and I don't want to spend time trying to get my hair right. Bless you for sharing your talents ❤.
It’s so crazy because I’m in bed thinking of a pattern and this was my exact thought!!! So weird I came across your video, but you got a new subbie sis!
This right here is it. I will be doing this between Saturday and Sunday and now I am confident it will come out perfect. This is going to be my hair game changer. Appreciate your method very much
Thank you so much for sharing this braiding pattern! I am looking for ways to wear crochet because I am heavy workout person and I cannot keep a silk press at all! I am going to do soft locs next! Thank you!!
New Sub I knew I wanted a braid pattern that wasn't bulky because I'm new ro crocheting and a little self conscious and POW here you go! Thank you YT for reading my mind!
I have never did this nor ever crocheted but this video is so good the foundation of the crochet has a good firm hold, I’m watching videos so iCan do my daughter hair this has helped me, I’ll comment again if iAm successful! Thanks 2023
I love this video. Gave me the idea to do individual box braids with my natural hair in the front two rows and then the link method she did in the front in the back bc I don't know how to cornrow at all. Im in the process of getting my hair set up was going to do the rubberband method realized I didn't put them in my Amazon cart ( but I ordered freaking bobby pins yall, why?) so now I have an alternative. Thank you Denetta you just saved me!🥰
Thank you so much for this video, I was about to give up! But after coming across yours, I could finally grasp the concept, thank you you have a new follower!
I absolutely love this the only thing I’m going to change is instead of crocheting each braid into the other just grab it as I’m braiding the parallel braid and then just crochet the final braid! Thank you I’m doing this pattern tonight ! Pray for my arms 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you everyone for checking out my video🙏🏾

OMG 😁 Thank you so much 💜💜
Totally agree !
Agree! I just did my daughter’s hair and I was not happy about the back but the braids are covering it up 😂. But still wish I would seen this method.
I agree.
I just used the method 3wks ago for my french curl box braids. Never going back to another crochet braid pattern. I'm complimented everywhere I go. Everyone thinks I've got it professionally braided. Thank you soo much!
Finally! Someone that shows how to put your back braids up! Thank you!!
No problem!!! Thank You 💜💜
Same thing I just wrote! Like why y’all neglecting the back!
👏
Right!!!
Honestly, they probably don't do the back themselves.
This is the ONLY start to finish detailed breakdown I have ever seen. I’ve been watching videos every night for an entire week 3 to 4 hours a night. No one shows how they do they do the back.
I really appreciate you! Thank you so much!
This is it! No talkin no extra stuff clear and perfect speed. Thank you so much!
No worries 😉 Thank you 😊
After searching and watching braid pattern videos all day I finally came across the best one so happy you showed everything… thank you for this ☺️
Aww thank you so much 😊 Thank you for checking my video out!!!
Gurl yes I just said let me see this braid pattern real quick..
Yesssss
That's a fact 💯
I agree 👍🏽 !!!
So about 11 connected braids in the front leading to 8 big braids with 5 connecting braids in the back. This is very very helpful! Thanks a lot!

Wow. Black women are so creative. I love how you did the hair in the back. Girl I’m going to Amazon now.

Yesssss🫶🏾🫶🏾 I appreciate everyone of y’all!! Thank you 😊

Wow Thanks ALOT 🙏🏾💖💖💖💖
I am so glad I found this video. I can do single braids, but cannot cornrow at all. It's a game changer!

You are so sweer Mesha!
