You only feel comfortable around Black people?
From Nairobi, you could take a direct flight to New York too
Hey Auston. I realize Madagascar has a lot of development to do, but any chance you'll spend some time there?
Alright I just joined. We need to know what makes interactions with Kenyan women as good or better than Brazilian women.
@@Chosen-1619 perfect! Coming up!
Let’s take a minute to appreciate Auston’s growth. It’s amazing to see him travel, mature and come into his own. Good luck in Kenya.
Thank you so much
Yep he is coming along just fine
@@PPB-FreeAfrica No fuck Europe and North Africa. We African Americans are only visiting African countries.

I lived there when I was his age. I know about the eye popping delicacies that hound him daily. Dude has accidentally stumbled across his long lost home.

You’ve made me appreciate my beautiful country even more. We take things for granted until someone else points out the beauty of what we’ve got. Kenya appreciates you to 🇰🇪🇰🇪
We mostly take lots of things for granted until we travel out of the continent. That’s wn the truth hits us in the face
As a frequent Nairobi Kenya traveler I approve of this message!
me too, except for the amount he pays in rent. i think they see his tatoos and then just think they can raise the price on him. plus he is flashing gold too.
@@jondo3817 I agree also the real estate outside of Westlands is a lot cheaper even in the other upper middle-class neighborhoods like lavington, Kileleswa , kilimani. The same places that would be in Westlands are at least 30% cheaper. Then even if you go further out it's even cheaper and then there are also other cities like Nakuru which is less than half the price of Nairobi.
It depends how economy is
@@jondo3817 I agree with Jondo. The Dude can pay much less. In a matter of time he will find out ways to sort this out
@@jondo3817 No, there are much much cheaper, far cheaper places/options. He just wants to stick to Westlands just like some people stick in expensive California when they could live a cheaper better quality life in Texas. Atafirisikia huko Westands but i think he will find his way out to a $500 apartment.
You’ve earned a subscriber for loving my homeland 🇰🇪
Yup. Kenya is the best place in Africa for a Black American. Havent been to Ghana yet but Kenya is for me.
😂🤣😂🇺🇲 Atlanta GA just stepped up to the plate!
Black American paradise is SA homie 🇿🇦 🇿🇦 Kenya is cool but not even close to SA! 🙄 😎 Best to compare Kenya to Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, Ghana or something
@@globalminerals3004 home is Always best bet everyone will say that about their home country. Everywhere there's the good & the bad side. No competition.
@@jospaxx Home is where you make it not where you where born. I'm orginally from Atlanta GA 🇺🇲 Have no desire to even touch a foot on the ground back in America.
@@globalminerals3004only in the situation that you moved from a bunch of white folks to be around more white folks which is in South Africa. Yeah it’s similar I know what you mean but you have to realize Kenya and ethiopia are the only two legit sovereign African countries that the European governments, American governments , china can’t tell nothing too and are scared to say anything too powerful leadership and sovereignty and they actually control their country the black people and they actually are the ones manufacturing and have the jobs and control the minerals. South African is controlled by the British, and three whites families in South Africa the Rupert’s, the menals, and the Oppenheimers. That’s why the land and the minerals are still 90% controlled by 10% of the population which is white and now theirs Indians and Chinese that have more power than the indigenous South Africans. I’m just being honest I’m not from Kenya I’m in Canada and from Sudan but I monitor my whole black family around the world wherever we are our people. And Kenya’s president is the best in africa right now. But I can’t wait till Julius malema is president in South Africa which will hopefully be next year because he actually fights for our people and thinks panafrican like Kenya’s president. I love all of Africa and I’m gonna visit all and ofcourse South Africa.
@@globalminerals3004I just want the Europeans to leave to be honest 😂😂😂 and I thought it would be annoying for you being around them all your life and now their still there
Wow, as a Kenyan, l don't know what to say. We Kenyans see ourselves as very 'kawa" (ordinary) people. I was therefore genuinely touched by your assessment of us and our country. Many thanks and blessings.❤❤

Listen man, I am a Jamaican living in Toronto, Canada. I just married a Kenyan woman four months ago, and that is one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Her family loves me and I love them. My Kenyan Princess shows me so much love. I went to Kenya twice and I love it, everything you said is true because I said the same things too. While there I felt right at home - great people. One love my brother. Love your channel, first time watching, keep up the good work.
🇯🇲 salute mi g mi wah move over there
@@sherwaynewaldo8136 Bless up general. Thanks for the feedback.

Kenya is really an Amazing country and its the future 🇰🇪❤️❤️❤️
As soon as I stepped off the plane, I knew I was home. My coworkers used to come to me daily trying to guess what tribe I would have belonged to if I was Kenyan. Come to find out, one of my ancestor(s) was Luhya in Kenya as far back as 18 generations ago and as recent as 5 generations ago...Kenya Yetu
Welcome to luhya land brother you are welcomed home anytime
Hopefully I will see you soon bro. I lived there for over a year am back in the states but coming back in a month or 2 I love Kenya too ✊🏾
Kenya for the win. I would like to see you get on a matatu and document matatu culture 😊
😂😂😂😂😂
what I love about Kenya is people are intelligent. You can have a good discussion even with the watchman. You go outside of Kenya you remark that ppl are less alert less educated less intelligent.
It's not the question of intelligence..maybe language barrier?
Wow.
Intelligent? Lol
English is merely a language; it is a means of communication, not a measure of intelligence or knowledge.
Kenya, Nigeria and SA have a lot of educated people. I believe Nigerians are the most educated ethnic group in America
I want you to get a Kenyan dual citizenship. And buy land. And start a business. And bring all African Americans here we can all fit
I’m on it! Let’s start with citizenship
Just not the alphabet community 😅😅.
Your last name “Mwaura” is already a Kenyan name
@@AustonHollemanEasiest route will be to marry a Kenyan lady. Otherwise you have to have a good investment in Kenya and apply for citizenship after at least 7 years of staying in the country.
@@everlynewamaitha9990ah Kenya accomodates everyone... YOU just have to respect the people's cultural and traditional values..as long as you're not bothering anyone with your ideas, nobody cares..we have Kinuthia and co, Nobody bothers them..

Keep going youngblood. We are proud of you. Keep representing us in the best light. Peace!
Well said my brotha. Glad you are living your best life.
Good for you Auston. Absolutely happy for you young brotha. I wish I would've had a brain to do the same thing when I was younger. Have a great life.
Good to see you back, black & stronger than ever!
great to have you here, let's grab a beer sometime. As a permanent Kenyan, I pay less than $100 USD per month for a small studio apartment. in a good neighbourhood and commute daily to wetlands. But that's all I need really
Well said. Keep the content coming brother. And have a blast on your travels!
When are you coming yourself? We'll cook you yams and cabbage
I think Westlands has been oversold now and that's why the rent is skyhigh. I'd say try to venture out of Westlands and try other Nairobi neighbourhoods. There are tonnes of places with modern conveniences - malls, clubs, hospitals, vibe etc. Nairobi pretty much fits every pocket as costly as it may seem. There's Kilimani, lots of good neighbourhoods in the Southlands like Lang'ata. Eastlands there are nice neighbourhoods like Nyayo. North of Nairobi, there's a freeway (superhighway) that makes your movement easier and faster and lots of neighbourhoods to choose from at a fraction of the price you are paying. Mostly you will find anything from 300-700 dollars and if renting even less. If you are willing to get out of your comfort zone, there's more to explore in Nairobi as regards housing/AirBnB.
Thank you!! This is a very valuable comment for anyone looking for affordable rent.
Thats true..
RUAka,Kasarani,ROYsambu,
Always welcomed auston enjoy your self 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪✌️
Kenya is so beautiful and our people are very loving. The only reason I’m stuck here in the US is the availability of job opportunities.I hope to return back home soon.
Africa is the new place to be if you want to live a life of peace and happiness. It will become even better over time as BRICS gains prominence.
I agree with you the women's are beautiful there. That's one of the reasons why I want to come and visit.
You have achieved so much at such a young age. You should be proud of yourself, your experiences and success. Keep going and continue setting the pace for us. Godbless x
A lot of folks are considering Nairobi now. I am planning on returning to South Africa, but after all the buzz about Kenya, I've been considering paying it a visit.
It’s well worth it
Welcome home Auston❤ Kenya loves you
Kenya looks great man. The Africa trips definitely did you a lot of good, hopefully more people start going there.

Please represent one of my home countries-Kenya well Auston! Thank you Sir! (I'm half Laotian and Kenyan) I'm planning to come visit soon. Good Job putting Kenya on the Map Auston.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am planning to move to Kenya next year. Having videos of other Americans being honest about their experience is very helpful.
Great my sister. I am Jamaican living in Toronto. I went to Kenya twice and felt so at home. Love the people.
I agree, I was in Nairobi in March and loved it! The people are very welcoming, there is a lot to do, and the country is developed! Go Kenya
Good to see you Fam!!!
Great to have you as well!
i love this, i find that african americans were discouraged from africa, shown the negative side while white americans were given work opportunities etc to come to africa and they enjoy the best of africa. I am glad to see change is happening. Come see africa for yourselves, form your opinions, invest in africa..and with the way things are going, it might not be a bad thing to have a plan b
Congrats young wolf. Just be careful. Glad for you.
I am Kenyan born, raised and living in Nairobi and you should feel welcome here simply because you are HOME! Welcome home my brother. Is nothing but LOVE here for black America. In America, you are a black man but here you are simply a MAN! Its a blessing to us to see our people come home. Don't believe people who say Africans don't love black America because that is the biggest lie ever told. We love our people point blank period. Good information brother! Thanks for the insight. I’m in Houston but I plan on moving to the motherland one day. Been looking at Tanzania with Kenya being the other option!
Welcome to Kenya brother
Developing country is exactly the accurate term and not offensive at all. It's the phrase "third world" which is inaccurate and pejorative because it actually refers to countries that chose to remain neutral during the Cold War.
"3rd world" and "sub-Saharan Africa" are very dehumanizing terms that need to be done away with.
It’s already been a month? Wow! I just started watching your videos the other day!
Much love for you ❤have been watching your vidoes and im in love with your positivity and content. Karibu nyumbani🤗

Bro I just recently discovered your channel and I am so hooked. Thank you for raising our flag high up where it should be. I reside in London and miss home terribly. You made my day when you called our matatus 'little buses'😍😍😁😁. Keep this authentic content as it is.
When in Mombasa take an Uber or hire a driver to take you to Diani Beach ⛱️. Also in Mombasa go to Sutan Palace Beach and eat the fresh grilled fish the local fishermen catch daily. The best food I tasted in Kenya was their fish. They let you pick out which fish 🐟 you want from their cooler and then cook it up
I love Diani beach.
I actually stayed at the Sutan Palace hotel so that's how I know about there beach and people who catch and cook fish almost daily 😋
@The-Man-Right-Chea I stay at an Airbnb on the beach ⛱️ check out Chill Spot restaurant right on the beach. Fresh cheap food and great cheap drinks.
ABSOLUTELY appreciate you Brother. As an Educator I need to hear the logical critical analysis of what’s going on around the world. In another video you mentioned Black Europeans which is weird to say but I definitely hear where you coming from. Yo since I’ve visited Paris, London and some other spots a few times, I gotta say that “BLACK EUROPE” is dope. Most are 1st and 2nd generation Africans and Caribbeans. Their restaurants, social events, etc are poppin. James Baldwin, many Hip-Hop artists, Melvin Van Peebles, old writings from WWII veterans, all of whom I’ve read or heard them talk about how great it is. Experienced it personally and they were all correct on their assessments. But so happy you’re giving the real deal about Kenya. Can’t wait to get there.✊🏿
I love Kenya. I first went in the 80s and now I'm ready to move!!! I admire you for your courage and determination! I think Mombasa or near the coast will be for me. I need the beach❤❤
I love your honest review and experience while living in Kenya. It gives diasporas like myself a taste of what to expect if we decide to relocate there. Kenya is first on my relocation list for the future. I hear so many good things about this beautiful Country. I am excited to come and see for myself. Thanks for the good affirmations about Kenya. Keep the video updates coming. Looking forward to watching them.
We love you too as a brother and the only thing God left is love❤❤
Great update bro learning a lot thanks bro
Love your honesty. I watched your content about Ghana and I totally understand all you said and I agree with you on a lot of your points. I was born in Ghana but I have been living in the uk for most of my life and I came back 5 years ago. I've been to Kenya, tanzania, windhoek, joberg, Cape Town, uganda and a few others...... and yes i totally agree the social life and in Kenya is wey better. I struggle too with conversations in Ghana more than Nairobi. South Africa and Namibia is on the same wavelength with Nairobi so I'm sure you will enjoy it down south. Keep up the good work. I'm glad someone said it.
.... if you love the girls in Kenya wait till you go down south. They on point there too breda. Same kinda vibe. It's getting warm right about now down there. Trust me you gonna love it in the south. Just don't be walking around filming alone in joberg. Maybe Cape Town
That’s real talk right there !!!
Definitely gonna travel to Kenya this year thanks for the heads up
Hes so right. You can be in the perfect weather, perfect location... but if the people suck, you wont like it and you'll leave.
Lol man you kept it all the way real in this one 😆 this video might have my boy 100GangNate moving to Kenya soon!

Mr auston the more you appreciate kenya the more we suscribe to your channel
💗💝💘💞 Beautiful message you are so young and you are doing it... Keep going...
Great informative video 👍🏾
Auston: I think with this video you've just arrived at a RUclips point where no other African American has ever reached while discussing personal views on Kenya. It's just the way you crystallized the Kenyan situation as you see it. I hate to sound dramatic but I think this is a breakthrough moment. It actually has a lot of implications. It's going to be music to a lot of Kenyan ears. Also, it will probably nudge some African Americans, who are on the fence, into visiting Kenya. And it builds on that famous visit to Kenya by Richard Pryor in 1979. The video by Comedy Hype is worth seeing for those who have not (Why Richard Pryor Stopped Saying 'The N-Word' - Here's Why). Now we just need to find a better Nairobi apartment rental deal for you. 😀
