So glad to see them get a win! Your videos are a life saver as I miss many of them due to time zone differences in Australia. I fell in love with the Canucks in 2019 whilst living in Vancouver and been following ever since.
We have been playing such good goaltenders with no defence, Rick and Pat have time to make changes to the D Line, we’re cup contenders, I’m still so excited for this year.
Definitely not cup contenders. Way too early in the season to say that. Even playoff contenders is a reach rn. I’ve watched every single Canucks game. 1 good game doesn’t mean they will play like that the whole year. I’m think they’ll do worse than last year by quite a large margin
@@secondaccount-z4cmiller is a number 1 c 100 point guy we just need Petey to step up for sure but he made a big step in right direction. Made great passes and had scoring chances. He’ll get it going
@@Ninokapanenit’s also way too early to write them off as a team that will drop off, did you watch the the first four games last year? they struggled mightily against philly and tampa. you never know what’s going to happen so your statement is contradictory
Canucks last year didn't have any issues getting the goals this year the top 6 seems to be struggling on getting goals. I mean the first game of the season they beat the Oilers 8-1 or something like that. Hopefully they can keep the wins coming and get a strong effort for the full 60 going forward though.
I wouldn’t say we’re back on track just yet. Missing Barkov and tkachuck was our saving grace in this game. Those three loses are still a hovering shadow this season
Yeah but remember like 2 of those losses really should have been wins. Only the Tampa game was legit loss. Flames were out of it and the Canucks just stopped playing giving up a 4-1 lead in the 3rd. And the flyers game, it’s basically a tie, DeBrusk scored to put us ahead in the shootout and we were one save shy of winning that one. Could have gone either way
going back to your last video i called it i said they’d win and everyone was going on about how the teams gonna flop this year but i know they are gonna do well
I'm surprised your team is as strong as it is right now: Cup hangover is very real, and you're missing some of the best players in the league because of injury. Also impressive is that your team has been so good for so long: 4 years of great teams now. Amazing. Probably as close as teams can get to dynasties now, what with the CAP. And you've done it without that cheesy stuff Vegas does. Or Tampa for that matter.
You got the cup last year if I was a Panthers fan I would rest easy knowing that my team finally did it and is not a punching bag to the Lightning any more.
It wasn't a hand pass! It's not Aman's fault that the ref dropped the puck off his glove! For it to be a hand pass it has to be an intentional pass. A face-off draw is it's own entity. Felt foolish and desperate for Maurice to challenge that one imo.
Hronek is still weak on coverage. He was standing still in front of the net checking no one on the goal. why? Then he cries when a team mate hits him in the face? c'mon. The face off rule is entirely stupid. If it hit the guy's glove then the linesman should have whistled it down. It's still a stupid rule. The Canucks have no finish. They are missing the net on breakaways and hitting posts. They have gone backwards from last year. They acquired Zadorov and Lindholm only to let BOSTON take them. Just to keep Pettersson? bad move. Nice win but it's gonna be a long year.
So glad to see that nucks fan decided to show that game 7 Stanley cup finals… don’t ever compare the oilers to the nucks , remember 2011?! That RIOT?!!… bs. Buddy is a nucks fan… Canucks are not good!
i'm sure joshua will inject some energy into the line up when he returns.
He's more important to the team than first meets the eye. A bit like Garland that way, but a more unique skill set, really.
When do u guys think he will return?

The Canucks went into a similar slump last season when he got injured too.

I've been really impressed by Lankinen so far. Aside from a few sloppy mistakes which he recovered from, he was awesome.

i disagree. we are not contenders unless petey starts going. You can’t be considered a contender without a number one center

Tha panthers were missing two players yes, but the Canucks were missing three! Joshua, Demko, and Forbort. Different players yes, but still three.
True but tkachuk and barkov are like x 10 more valuable than those 3

Black gloves. This has to be definitive to be called. If we had white gloves it may have been.

Ya, the Panthers were missing a couple of great players but we are missing Demko, how would the team be feeling if we blitzed the Flames in game 1?

right
Their defence still needs major work, WAY too many mistakes.
50/50 isn’t back on track. And an OT win… on track way too early.
I’d say it’s a step in the right direction but to early to say back on track

To be fair, it was against a tough opponent. If it was against a bottom team then they wouldn't be doing so good still
