so i have a question when i first got my pc last year i was able to use my ps4 conntroller on it (with the usb cable because my pc doesnt have bluetooth) but after that cord was damaged i got a new cord and now it wont connect to the pc. everytime i connect with the usb cable the yellow bar just comes on and off slowly even after ive reset the controller. plss help

man idk why but after pairing my controller with my laptop...My ps4 button isnt working AT ALL...no light is showing when i press my ps4 controller button but when I connect it with a USB cable the orange light flashes normally....might that be cuz the pc programmed my controller as an xbox controller or smthing? I tried everything and nothng worked...Anyone can help?

It’s gta 4:lost and damned and also just the base game for me.the controller jitters and what I mean by that it’ll turn off for a second than turn back on the next second so when you use a a anolog stick and that happens the anolog will try its hardest to go to through with the controll and ruin your time I just got used to keyboard and mouse because I am tired of it

I just used a usb cable to connect my ps4 controller to the ps4 and then turn the controller on...that did it for me

Just recently started playing ape and then hyperscape on PC... had a controller that I used perfectly used a cable... then moved computers into a new room and switched to a longer usb cable for the controller and a new controller... then none of my controllers but the new one would work... so bizarre... switching cables back to the original cable worked... long, but thank you, you fixed it!

Easy way to do it connect a keyboard to your ps4 navigate to settings to bluetooth disconnect controller then try to connect like your using it for the 1st time works for me.

If it doesn’t work try using a different usb cable. Need not be the original one. Worked for me with my headphone charger cable.
I have one issue.I recently connect my dualshock 4 to my pc and now it wont reconnect to the ps4.I tried reseting and pressing the small button but everytime i press the playstation button the pc will recogonize it but not the ps4.When i turn off my pc my dualshock wont turn on is there anyway to fix it?

I factory reset my ps4 and now the controllers won't connect and I can't get passed the 1st setup screen to connect controller. If I go thru remote play would this work? I connected my controller to my pc laptop but the light on the controller is solid white now blue

If you reset your ps4. Then to get your controllers paired again you need to plug them in via the usb that came with it, and press n hold the PlayStation logo button. You may need to hard reset the controller first. To get a simple guide to this process just Google how to pair a new controller

I had the same issue but the trick is to use the cable the ps4 came with an plug the controller back in while Bluetooth is off on your pc/laptop

ive got an issue, where i cant use my controller again on my pc with wire connection

Okay so i reset my controller and plugged it in via USB, with my computer. it did not work so had to try with my other controller. Steam still isnt noticing I have a controller plugged in.
Its often a janky process. You may need to plug and unplug it a few times before it shows up. Ive experimented with running steam as admin, restarting a couple times, etc. The first time that I hooked it up.

when trying to conect it to the pc i go to bluetooth and make it discovarable but when I try to connect it, it shows the solid blue light indicateing its connected and it says on the bluetooth settings that it is connected but then the blue light turns off, but the Pc still says its connected HELP!!!
Hard reset the controller before pairing it with your PC. If it shows other controllers in the device list from past attempts. Delete them.

You might need to reset the controller with the button on the back, then pair it with the computer you wanna use it on again.

@@ChupacabraTutorials and then he did the syncing with the controller back with the PlayStation which it worked
If you want to hook your controller up to your pc, you need to hard reset it so it stops trying to talk to your console. Then go through the process of pairing it with the computer. I have a guide on the process specifically right here: ruclips.net/video/n3lAehfYyl0/видео.html

I know this is a old video but here is my problem: It says paired when I connect it to my pc but then disconnects after 1-2 seconds. and when i try to turn the controller on it does the same connected then disconnected thing, and I've tried to reset it but it hasn't worked at all. If you see this comment i would be really happy if you were to reply and help
If you paired it with Bluetooth. Delete the old controllers listed in the Bluetooth device list. Hard reset it, maybe hold it to like a count of 29 to be sure. Try pairing it again. If it still screws up you either have to play with a cable or buy the Sony branded dongle.

You hard reset it with that button on the back. Otherwise you have to wait till the battery runs out of juice for it to "Restart". But draining the battery usually isnt recommended to fix anything.
I did the steps and when I'm trying to turn it on it blinks and wont have the blue light, what should I do? The thing is I first connected it to my laptop then when I was done I disconnected it from bluetooth, and I turned on my controller for my ps4 it didnt work. Please respond to me if you can
You may need to hard reset the controller. Plug it in to your ps4 with a charging cable. Then press and hold the ps button

@@joesvendsen7077 I got it working eventually by using PS remote play on my pc to control my PS4. I had to remove the existing controller from the settings and then pair up the same controller as a new controller and it worked.
@@spideyscott Thanks for getting back to me, managed to get in as you said and deleted it from devices, still doesn't work. Was worth a try! Seems like it's bricked against my playstation, but works when I reconnect it to my pc. Maybe I'll have to flash it or something.

your ps4.. After that go to settings -devices-bluetooth... Then disconnect the controller from bluetooth. After that is done hold the share and ps4 button on your controller thennn a controller will pop up on the screen .. Click it and ur controller is connected back
