Deep Gnomes make the ultimate Arcane Trickster (rogue). And Deep Gnomes make the most excellent Gloom Stalkers (ranger sub class). All because of the Svirfneblin Magic, they have a huge advantage over most other races, especially for a class with stealth-like features. Deep Gnomes are my favorite race in D&D.
