It's a 20 billion dollar project which is 6 times bigger than Shanghai. And with just 2.7 billion dollars how can they build a city with airport, metro, ecological parks and most important is the city size is 920sq km.. Think about it .. Anyway nice video.

Bro, DMIC is central level project and Dholera is governed by Gujarat Govt. So, both are different projects. While, the letter C in DMIC is itself a Corridor and it will pass through Dholera as well.

Aecom consulting company is also developing a bigger smart city than this in South west of Gurgaon Haryana in 50000 hectares. And Gurgaon global city in 1100 acres of land is also being developed in Gurgaon as India's biggest financial hub after Mumbai. Gurgaon is already 3rd highest in percapita income city in India and soon it will overtake others and will get the top spot.
I planned a smart city just north-east of this, where the inlet ends. I has a slightly different design, I am 12 years old and started it because it was for school and did it because of passion.
Hopefully, this project stays safe and away from the influence of the corruption termites🙏🏼. The same kinda protest was also done by farmer's in Noida during Jewar International Airport land acquisition. Government almost payed 30% more, but instead of buying new lands or machines for employment, those villager opted for big SUVs and bigger House. So yeah whatever!
For a brand new city, 2.7B is kinda low. The Philippines is building a 36-km subway in its capital. It is expected to cost 4.5B. New planned cities and central business districts are also starting to sprout like weeds all over the Philippines, and the grandest of them all, The New Clark City, will cost more than 16B dollars. You are right in many ways, but i am Indian, and i know this smart city is not for poor people, its for higher economy and higher middle class economy people, also it will gain some international rich people, i know for westerners its looks like white elephant, maybe it is some what is a show off, but with this ambitious project, India showing the rich investors, that India have ambitions, and and they can join with this, which will boost the indias economy, in 2030 India will be a middle income economy, and many poor people will get a comfortable life, but it will take time, India has many problems, and its a democracy, not a totalitarian government like china, so when people compare India with china, its not very relaible, i am hopeful for the indias future, many infrastructure development projects were going on here, in every part of india, i know for sure it will make Indias economy strong, but now India needs patient and hardwork.

Aecom consulting company is also developing a bigger smart city than this in South west of Gurgaon Haryana in 50000 hectares. And Gurgaon global city in 1100 acres of land is also being developed in Gurgaon as India's biggest financial hub after Mumbai. @@dv9239 it all started in 2002, when japanese amabassdor to india proposed a coridor between Mumbai and Delhi , then govt alloted some 7 states , some manufacturing and some storage hub, the idea of Dholera slowly evolved and in 2010 govt of gujrat said that they will develope it with help of ppp model till 2050 , it will be divided in many phases and slowly it gained momentum
