My pleasure 😊
Lol - wasn't expecting the German remake of my spell! Ha.
Very thorough run through.
Hey Alex! Thanks for your magical inspiration! 😁🤖💥
Glad I could support
i really enjoy your perspective and content! thanks for putting in the effort :)
Thanks so much! Positive viewer feedback is the best reward here on RUclips! 👍🤖🚀
Vielen Dank für diese Analyse!👋🏼
Cool, danke für den Aufwand!
Sehr gerne! 🤖
I tried Alex’s magic spell too. All I got was a JP-08. Must be my wand is broken.
Thanks, very well done 👍
that old warm and thick Roland "punch" of the (I believe it is the BA662) is missing from this as it is from the behringer ms1(01)
Yeah, because it’s SS2130 VCO and 2164 VCA. To call it a Jupiter clone is borderline fraudulent
I don't know, that osc drift should be pretty easy to achieve assigning an LFO to an oscillator, maybe you need more time with it. Alex's comparison seemed much closer to the JP8.
Thank🙏💚🧡👍 I stand Behringer to do one . Not my price. I like to mix in one midi ensemble, my Jupiter 50 , Juno 6, and Deepmind 12 I have fun with that, All in poly. Try to compare but I don't listen why I would need more. I'm more to add specific semi modulars, ans perhaps some Behringer, such B2600 x 2, Cat, Model D, Wasp, wich have original circuits. Then modular, also very specific search for sounsdscapes
How about the music in the car travel part of the video? Can you tell me more? It seems a cover of an italo disco oldie to me, at least it's strikingly similar (even the lyrics). Thanks!
it was heavily inspired by Righeira „Vamos a la Playa“! ITALO Doctor 'BOOT' Mix in 80 SECONDS! #80s80sChallenge

@@winesynths Yeah, I was thinking to that song. Didn''t know it was known outside Italy though. In Italy it was huge back in the day, and it's popular even today.
@@wonderwheel80s back in the days it was a huge summer hit in Europe! Very cool song!
@@winesynths Good to know. I'll remember to invoke the Righeira bros when I'll need to conjure a Jupiter 8 (hoping not to get a Elka Synthex instead) ah, ah! By the way thanks for the video!

If they release kits again at sensible prices I would buy one, but the pre-build prices are insane
I didn’t know Germans even attempted comedic skits. Wow! One learns something every day.
Aberakadabera! 💥💥💥 At least we tried our very best! 🧙🏼♀️😁
I will say one thing for it: it sounds a lot brighter and smoother than my Roland Boutique JP-8.
Sounds pretty close against the Jupiter 8. I think I’ll get one
Love your videos. The German incantation was hilarious! Beautiful synth but I think Black Corp is a brand for enthusiasts will a little more money than sense. There is just no reason to drop that kind of money on any synth unless it is a collectors item. The end goal is making great music. You don't need luxury gear to do that. Looking forward to your next video!
Analog? Yes. Jupiter filter? Yes. But way more stiff. I'm surprised how differently it sounds from the original. It's not bad, and it probably deserves the 20.
beautiful sounds but I’ll have to keep referring to my jx3p as Jupiter for that price!
Same here with my 8Ps... 😁
I have the 3P, and think it is the best poly synth Roland ever produced, price, reliability, and sounds. It amazes me they don't often pass the 1K price bracket.

The concept of the upper and lower voice can not only be found in Roland analogue synths, but also in the digital JP8080 - which does stereo with some nice "spread" and delay effects and costs around 1500€ now.
Absolutely. And also on the digital Rolands starting with D50 and later the whole JV/JD series where you could pile up to four Tones.
Ideally, one wants a synth that can be Hello Godzilla.
HELLO GODZILLA! All day long! 🤩
I’ll stick with the Auturia V
Tal J-8 is better, but Roland Cloud JP8 sounds closer to the real thing, tone wise, as a past Jp8 owner.
Arturia one has a slight portamento to the attack
Ich glaube nicht, dass er den hohen Preis wert ist, und dann nicht einmal die Möglichkeit Patches mit Namen zu bezeichnen, das ist doch nicht mehr wirklich zeitgemäß.
I had a quick play on one at Superbooth. I was shocked at the build quality of I’m honest. Especially considering the price.
Far from the premium feel.
I had been wondering the same, for it looks like cheap switches and knobs combined with a rather basic design. For that price, I'd want something that looks and feels like it costs that much, not like something made by Behringer with slightly more exclusive wooden end cheeks retrofitted.
I had the same experience, also at Superbooth.
Sequential take5 has a split similar to that jupiter, except no split output, BUT it has effects as a modulation destination and sync'able lfo. Those features might interest you. Also, take5 is the cheapest sequential keyboard, so I probably will get that. I seriously hope you did not spend your money on this. If so, I recommend returning it. Haha.
sounds like the Jupiter-8 got somehow "more envelope"...difficult to describe.
More 3D? 😁
@@winesynths More cowbell?
Cowbell in every track! 😌
more snappy
I think that Black corporation is run by 2 american guys that live in Japan, is not really really a japanese company. The "upper/lower" bi-timbral separate outputs per patch trick is also in Crumar's Bit series synths, I have a Crumar Bit 99 which I play every night dancing like Celentano
American? I am not sure. But definitely not native Japanese. Which doesn't matter, as they are based in Tokyo! We also have a lot of cool people here in Berlin from all around the world, who are building cool things! That's what I like about the music scene! Everybody is welcome everywhere! And of course a lot of 80ies Synth Manufacturers had comparable concepts with split voices. Crumar is great! I just wanted to stick to the Roland "universe" to limit the orbit of the video! 🛸
@@winesynths Yes, I've been to Berlin 2 times, saw how it is in the city. It's okay, just saying that because you mentioned "japanese engineering", Crumar forever!
@@LB-pp7pu sometimes I like to exaggerate in my scripts! Sorry! 🤖
@@winesynths No problem, for me you can exaggerate much more! :)
Black Corporation is Roman Filippov from Russia, he used to make Sputnik Modular in the past and Buchla clones. He now lives in Japan I guess
Great. But if you pass saturn you need to make u turn to get to jupiter.😂🤣😂
It's a synth channel, not about astronomy! 🚀🛸🤓
I'm sure this synth is so outstanding that it will take you to the tearooms of mars via Yuranus
I sure hope this was a demo unit that you can return.
5k for that?! I can‘t see a single reason for that. That‘s beyond hilarious.
I have built my diy version. The parts are pretty high quality and expensive. 5k for a prebuilt version seems to reasonable to me.
@@Spamn4 was it hard to build? When you finished How did you confirm it was behaving as it should be?
@@Judasz696 It was not so difficult but it was a lot of work (10k+ solder joints). Especially the 8 voice cards took me quite some time.
Yes, after fixing some bugs of the 1.0 diy PCBs I can confirm that it behaves as it should and it sounds surprisingly well. Really.
@@Spamn4 thanks
I rather get 3rd. wave for that price
Too different. Get both.
its a shame they want so much for i because it is tidy, i could never justify that price for a synth in much the same way you demonstrated it with the Behringer one 😁yeah some might say cheep skate/tight cunt but i just don't have that kind of money, i think few do.... anyway guys i been with you since 2-3vids in, i love how that set up of your's has grown, nice, you'll need a bigger flat by January i think 😁😂🤣
Don‘t worry about my flat! I also have storage in the wine shop! 😌
In reality I don‘t really want to have more synths! Since now I have a Juno and a 101 again I’m pretty happy! And my PWM modded JX-8P is just half a Jupiter with 6 voices! You can make them sound really similar! And in the studio I will overdub and layer anyway! And Thanks for watching us! 🤖
5 thousand Euros, , could nearly pick up a MKS80 and a programmer for that price..dudes are dreaming..
But we hate Behringer
I don‘t! 😁🍀🤖
Envelopes not snappy enough.
Yes! Definitely not Juno-6 or 101 snappy! And the Jupiter has almost the same envelope design. In the one to one comparison it‘s also obvious. But the Ise-Nin Envelopes are far from being slow! Just slightly different response. 🤖
The used synth market is dead right now. Prices have fallen for many 'vintage' analogue machines that two years ago were commanding double or more the current, and rapidly declining, value. Reverb has a vast list of items which for months, some even years, have not sold, and not one offer on many the classics. The problem with investing in these machines is that the newer generation of producers are quite happy with VST's and clones, so don't care for ageing machines that can be expensive to service and repair, if you can even source the rare parts. And who makes any serious money from music with assholes like Spotify raping musicians who insult intelligence with peanuts for streaming? The music 'business' is dead, thanks to the internet and people who feel it is okay to download and share music at no cost, yet many of the same will sit in a coffee shop while doing so and spend more on their shitty overpriced drink worth more than a whole album of music.
I think synths are a terrible investment, and people will burn their money if they decide to choose this avenue for zero financial benefits later on.
Corona was a different time for the synth market - vintage stuff was simply over value at that time - just a normal thing that prices decline
@@novalogue There were a lot of name producers and artists spending money on synths because they had no live work or touring, so prices went up partly due to that, and others who had more studio time too. 'Vintage' synth prices have always been crazy, after dropping from around 1987 until the mid 90's, but in reality many of the 'iconic' synths are not worth anywhere near the asking prices so it's good to see them in free fall right now.
I got one OBXA for $8.5K, probably wont make money on it but its good to have one real synth to keep and compare. Its huge!
It's a nice synth, but it's not even close to a Jupiter-8. System-8 would be a far better choice if you wanted that sound, and way less, and keys!
@14:27 and @14:37, I'm always extremely disappointed when I hear supposedly "knowledgeable" synthesizer enthusiasts unable to match such a basic patch between two machines. The detuning of the oscillators on the Jupiter 8, the filter envelope, and the filter cutoff were clearly not matched on the Ise-Nin here. Useless comparison. Thanks for nothing... NEXT!
They are delusional 😂
Far too expensive by any measure. I'd still buy one if I had the money, however.
