- hello again! im back with another animation featuring @GoodKidband 's newest song! this time i tried to challenge myself and make an animation with lots more movement and fun backgrounds while also showing each of their personalities through their actions :)
i love the way this song makes me feel and it really inspired me to start animating as soon as i could.

Ash writing “bigger dummy” implies he knew Z would not only stick the tag to his back but also that he knew exactly what was written on it and I love it

I not only like the fact that you can see them slap the dummy stickers on each other’s backs earlier in the animation, but I also love the implication that Ash _knew_ that Z would slap a sticker that said “dummy” on his back and preemptively slapped on on her back that said “bigger dummy”.
Those are the kind of storytelling details I live for. XD
For people like me who had to rewatch a couple of times, Ash quickly puts the on Z at 0:27. You can see his arm go to her back

The fact that they know each other well enough to Counterattack each other without either noticing is a friendship goal
Your ocs aren’t generic, and they have actual life experiences, which is what I like. Like someone would think it was “gross” and laugh it off instead of a lot of others gonna be like “ooooh hey maybe we should kiss too” and the girl getting shy.
There are so many other examples I love your animations.

Man, I wish these two could actually get a full show for them. It'd be cool if maybe Charlie would consider making a comic for them? Perfect for cute romance, much easier to do than full animations- it'd be great, I'm sure lots of us who love these animations would gratefully read the hell out of that comic.

You are so good at animating facial expressions! The way they interact with each other is incredible in both the laughing scene and right before they leave. I keep rewinding that part because it's just so sweet and really showcases their feelings for eachother.

I love how after Z takes their hand off Ash presumably putting on the dummy sticker, Z already has a bigger dummy sticker on her, implying that Ash predicted that she would do that and got to her first.

not only that, but the fact that they're just genuine friends is a nice change (romance is everywhere and this warms my ace heart)

I'm making a comic with my friend, I came up with the idea a WHILE ago 😭😭 but it's just to display these 2 guys that are just friends, cuz I never see that. Just some genuine friends, that we need more of in the world 😿 now I'm gonna have to work on it 💀

These characters have so much personality and realism and it is GLORIOUS
They feel more like people and less like classic generic characters
I don’t know if you’ve ever thought about pitching a show featuring these two, but if you were to I know I’d have release date marked on my calendar for sure. They’re so full of personality!

the bridge of names reminds me of a wall we had at my childhood trailer park. all the residents dipped their hand in paint and placed their handprint on the wall. i never got to do it, but i always loved the vibe it gave off.

I feel like the couple’s kiss being exaggerated shows what it looks like is Ash and Z’s eyes, since they thought it was gross, while it could have been regular to everyone else’s eyes.
