The plot, the theming, the ANIMATION, everything about this is incredible. The shift in art style for the scene with Alice, the smooth transitions, the fun paper effects that must have taken forever, the CHARACTER DESIGN! This is a work of art.

People say that Kaaatie is lucky, but most of the reason of why she has a fandom for Fundamental Paper Education is because of her own hard work. Edit: Y’all Ik it’s luck as well but I just felt that most people just call it all on luck. But the algorithm only works if people stay to the end of the video and like/sub/comment on the video too. So her work and dedication is what makes it so popular as well.
There is a certain level of luck to it. If nobody reposted the video on tiktok it would’ve not been even half as popular as it is now. The theme and characters are also very appealing to children which caused more engagement.
I had known about this animation for some time, but it wasn't until a few days ago that I watched it and saw other FPE related stuff, and the character design, the art style, and the mysteries they could make for an interesting story really caught my attention, so knowing that due to fandom the creator no longer even wants to draw her characters, so it is more than likely that everything related to FPE (except the characters of Alice, Engel, Claire and probably Oliver) will be discarded and the potential of this will never be tapped and remain only in this animation makes me sad, as it makes me feel that my interest in FPE came too late, when this potential future series was already dead before to even birth

For me, if I had to rate Fundamental Paper Education, it would be 10/10 But for the MPAA rating, I would rate it a PG-13 because it has small amounts of gore and a bit of a dark story
Probably the only fandom where you don’t need to watch thousands of episodes to understand what the point is. I also want to note the style, and the fact that the paper in some moments staggers as if it were real...
Yeah that’s why I have a theory maybe Alice has some sort of impact on reality because it went from paper to an actual animation when she was released and it smoothed the entire world and added color so that’s my theory
As an artist, whenever I struggle to pick up my creativity, all of these animations rekindles it again every single time! The care that's put into each frame and character is so inspiring. I also love obsessing over this fandom with my friends!

This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to learn drawing. It hits the things that interests me in such a specific way: the art style with hard straight lines, the paper aesthetic which transitions into solid colors with no lineart, the character designs that are so full of personality and happen to match the vibe of what i'd like to make one day, the brutal violence and gore. I feel like I could go on and on gushing about how much I like this, so I'll just say great work, I'm subscribing for future content (with the knowledge that animations like this take forever to make and I shouldn't expect too much).
I searched up “Miss Circle” and was expecting to find some game or animated series at least, but the fact that an entire FANDOM sprouted from this ONE animation is insane. (Edit: Not saying this animation is bad or anything, I just find it incredible that one 4-minute animation created a whole community)

Im normally not really into videos like this but this was genuinely a well made little passion project that got me very invested in this world and characters that you've created. Ms. Circle’s weapon being a mathematical compass is so genius Her head is a circle and compasses (the mathematical kind) are used for drawing circles, with one side having a needle to stick through the paper (VERY sharp, mind you) and the other side having a slot for a pencil, which is what she clearly has in her hand. Pretty cool bonus.
I didn’t expect this to be a single animation, since it has a whole fandom, I thought maybe it was a fangame, or a show, but it’s an animation and it’s AWESOME!! It’s dark, very, but it’s SO COOL and I am ALL UP FOR IT
It’s extremely interesting to me how just one simple video unintentionally built up an entire fandom. Saw this when it only had 67k views, I knew this was going to blow up but did not expect it to have THIS many views. I’ve been in the animation community for quite some time and have not seen something grow exponentially so fast in such a short time. I’d say its success was mostly due to tiktok and appealed to many young audiences on that platform. I must admit both the animation and the song used are very catchy and I’ve watched it many times simply because it’s pleasing to watch. I’m interested to see what the creator will do with this sudden success.

I can't say how much I love this animation and its characters, but GOD DAMN THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. Love this! The style of the animation is so simple, yet so amazing! The transition between the non threatening and silly animation to brutal and violent and gory, MUA! Call me psychotic, but I LOVE seeing this level of carnage and brutality. Not to mention the style of the characters. The creativity you have to have to make something like this is insane! Props to Katie. Good work! From sadistic teachers to silly background characters, I have to say, this is honestly the best animation I've ever seen. I know it's just a video, but still! I can't even describe how much I love this! Amazing! Perfection! The music style combined with the animation and the timing of the scenes changing makes a masterpiece. The fandom is both good and bad, half of it being silly memes and cool AUs, and the other half is just hate and R34. When I found out about this, I was genuinely heartbroken to see such an amazing thing get so much hate! People can be very cruel over small things, and it's truly messed up. I don't know what's wrong with people, but this got so many unnecessary hate. Katie, I'm sorry this happened, and to those who made that R34 and hate, you are just messed up. This person made such a great thing, and spent months doing it, and it got so much hate. It breaks my heart to know how cruel people can be. It's wrong and unnecessary. I just don't get why people do this. But to the people who supported her and encouraged her to keep going, WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU. It's just horrible, how cruel people are. A theory of mine, the reason why the teachers are so chill with killing students is because they’re paper, they can be redrawn. But in Claire’s case, she was colored, making her not paper and her death permanent. That may be why the teachers were scared when she entered the “exit”. They also got really mad at Oliver and Zip, kind of proving my point

I spent like 15 minutes looking for a “show” called Fundamental Paper Education only to find out there isn’t a show, it’s just a 4 minute animation that has a whole fanbase- I was ready to binge watch all the episodes 😭
Well, it turns out that if there is going to be a series, the creator confirmed it, but it will not be called FPE, there will only be some appearances of FPE, but it will not be about that (FPE)
Good question. I think they cover up the kid's deaths and threaten the others to stay silent so they seem like the best school while also not getting caught. Or maybe the parents are dead, and these little ones are kidnapped.

If there's anything to know about the three most dangerous teachers, its that, one, even they seem to fear alice, and two, they are really dedicated in torturing and killing failures, they either barge into classrooms while other classes are in session or literally throw themselves onto the students to catch one.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to learn drawing. It hits the things that interests me in such a specific way: the art style with hard straight lines, the paper aesthetic which transitions into solid colors with no lineart, the character designs that are so full of personality and happen to match the vibe of what i'd like to make one day, the brutal violence and gore. I feel like I could go on and on gushing about how much I like this, so I'll just say great work, I'm subscribing for future content (with the knowledge that animations like this take forever to make and I shouldn't expect too much).

It’s extremely interesting to me how just one simple video unintentionally built up an entire fandom. Saw this when it only had 67k views, I knew this was going to blow up but did not expect it to have THIS many views. I’ve been in the animation community for quite some time and have not seen something grow exponentially so fast in such a short time.
I’d say its success was mostly due to tiktok and appealed to many young audiences on that platform. I must admit both the animation and the song used are very catchy and I’ve watched it many times simply because it’s pleasing to watch. I’m interested to see what the creator will do with this sudden success.

I can't say how much I love this animation and its characters, but GOD DAMN THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. Love this! The style of the animation is so simple, yet so amazing! The transition between the non threatening and silly animation to brutal and violent and gory, MUA! Call me psychotic, but I LOVE seeing this level of carnage and brutality. Not to mention the style of the characters. The creativity you have to have to make something like this is insane! Props to Katie. Good work! From sadistic teachers to silly background characters, I have to say, this is honestly the best animation I've ever seen. I know it's just a video, but still! I can't even describe how much I love this! Amazing! Perfection! The music style combined with the animation and the timing of the scenes changing makes a masterpiece. I love the characters, the song, the style, everything I see here is amazing! I kinda have an obsession, but for a good reason! Personally, my favorite character is Alice. I find the lore very interesting and creative, and everything about it is just undescribable! The sad part is that the creator got literal death threats from this. The fandom is both good and bad, half of it being silly memes and cool AUs, and the other half is just hate and R34. When I found out about this, I was genuinely heartbroken to see such an amazing thing get so much hate! People can be very cruel over small things, and it's truly messed up. I don't know what's wrong with people, but this got so many unnecessary hate. Katie, I'm sorry this happened, and to those who made that R34 and hate, you are just messed up. If there's anything to know about the three most dangerous teachers, its that, one, even they seem to fear alice, and two, they are really dedicated in torturing and killing failures, they either barge into classrooms while other classes are in session or literally throw themselves onto the students to catch one.
