- Rambles With Robin and Ruby Presents: Trans-Canada Highway: Ontario Canadian Shield: Rocks, Trees, Lakes (Construction and Trucks).
Recorded in Ontario, Canada
Recorded date: May 21/23 to May 23/23
Video completed: September 20, 2023
Pat Nokomis, an Ojibwe painter, described driving across Ontario, on the Trans-Canada Highway, in three words: rock, lake and trees. Add construction zones and the number of transport trucks that use that highway, and you have summed up a typical drive from Wawa to Aaron Provincial Park, Ontario. I share my perspective of that drive in this video as we travel from Wawa to Aaron Provincial Park, in Ontario, close to the border between Ontario and Manitiba.
