This is exactly what my wife and I experienced in court against her ex. He literally wanted us to ask him if we can take the kids to the doctor under my health insurance that he refused to help pay for. And the court didn't know what to say to him at first cause the courts ate not designed to deal with this new species of evil.

About seven weeks after my wife left me and our kids, I called her on the phone to see what she wanted in the divorce. She was hysterical and I could barely understand her. She was unable or unwilling to answer my question. She kept saying over and over, "I can believe how good you are doing." Yes, I was doing ok and doing better every week. I no longer had to take care of her and tolerate her mood swings, her complaining and refusing to help me with our kids and the everyday chores. Realty had hit her hard. Her "exciting" boyfriend was an alcoholic and had serious medical issues. A couple of weeks later she wanted to talk when she brought the kids back from her visitation. I simply told her No and closed the door. I never did miss her.

Perfect analogy. My malignant narcissistic mother pulled a hoover on me when my dad became ill, and used my empathy to extract a significant amount of money and time out of me, to the detriment of my savings account and the care of my children. NO CONTACT. Even while I was helping them fix up their broken house, they were shaming and blaming me. No more! Ungrateful. Abusive. Amazing. My kids deserve a proper mom, which is something I never had. The generational cycle of abuse must be broken.

They also have alot of "self sensitivity" and they benefit from that by people seeing them as a victim or unfortunate, This Self sensitivity would lead you to believe that they would be empathetic to others but if there is no benefit to be empathetic or helpful to others but they are definitely not! An empathic person's sensitivity is based on feeling what others feel, and narcs sensitivity is only for themselves, Its easy to be fooled that all sensitive people are also empathetic a good way to tell is a narc shows off sensitivity constantly to gain empathy, but trust me they will be the last to have it for anyone else. While an empathetic person tries to hide their own sensitivity because they dont want people feeling their pain, trauma and if a victim may hide all these things, while a narc will display them in the most exaggerated way gaining empathy to use against you as a tool like emotional blood-sucking leeches

    The Snake by AL Wilson
On her way to work one morning
Down the path alongside the lake
    A tender-hearted woman saw a poor half-frozen snake
His pretty colored skin had been all frosted with the dew
"Oh well, " she cried, "I'll take you in and I'll take care of you"
"Take me in, oh, tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in, tender woman, " sighed the snake
Now she wrapped him up all cozy in a coverture of silk
And laid him by the fireside with some honey and some milk
Now she hurried home from work that night, as soon she arrived
Now she found that pretty snake she'd taken in had been revived
Now she clutched him to her bosom, "You're so beautiful, " she cried
"But if I hadn't brought you in by now you might have died"
Now she stroked his pretty skin again and then kissed and held him tight
But instead of saying thanks, that snake gave her a vicious bite
"I saved you, " cried that woman
"And you've bitten me, even why?
And you know your bite is poisonous and now I'm gonna die"
"Oh, shut up, silly woman, " said that reptile with a grin
"Now you knew darn well I was a snake before you brought me in"

I have not helped a narcissist escape rock bottom because I was once bitten, twice shy. I allowed my mother to go to her death, without helping her, because she’d already shown me that my kindness meant that I was a fool to have been kind, in the first place and that I should be betrayed. So, I didn’t allow it to get to the point of helping her again. I did this, not because I didn’t love her. I loved her more than life and thought I’d die within a day of her loss. I did it because my love and trust for other people was already threadbare and the person I loved most in this world betrayed me, undoing the one stitch that was left, of me unconditionally loving another human being. I did it, because her intent and words murdered a part of my life and soul and was unforgivable.
I can clearly see now, that she’s passed the narcissistic baton to my sister. So, before she gets started, I’ve already begun applying law to mitigate her presence and possible impact on my life. While I know it could be me, who needs help, I suspect she will be first in need and I intend to be nowhere near her (ground zero), if that happens as, I am hyper vigilant, as I go into my older years and know that, if having a narcissist in your life is bad when you’re younger, it’s got to be a nightmare, when you’re older. Life is finite. There’s no continued time to test out to see if a narcissist will change. That is highly-unlikely. A surer bet is that you’ll die waiting.

All my other siblings were close to her in distance but no one was there to care for her. Being the empath that I am I went to do with I could for her. Only planning to stay a few weeks but ending up staying until she died which was a few months. In the time that I was there I cleaned out her horrible unkept condo and got it ready to sell. Went with her to cancer treatments. Helped with her personal needs. I went to the funeral home and took care of her final arrangements. In all of these things she never once said " Thank you " She was angry because I asked her if she was in pain and if she needed medication! These poor souls never change! Not even til their dying day!

@@sajor1847 yes. It is always an unknown, as to who would die first. I also well-recognized that, after my stepfather passed and my mother’s behavior began to deteriorate, one of the issues was that it felt like there might be a subtle competition as to who will die last. Very sad, when your family relationships have been such that your mother would like to set her 2 daughters in competition and, actually, for her to win and for both of her daughters to lose.
Mom died almost a year ago and I have what is likely a very typical scenario, where I’m left with a sister who doesn’t understand what happened and wouldn’t want to. She only knows she’s winning the competition, by thumbing her nose at the court, during the probate process, costing me lots ultimately. She feels that her anger comes from the fact that I went no contact and left her alone with mom. I think the truer reality is that she expected for there to be a domino effect, where mom dies, I die dealing with mom and my sister is left with everything, without ever lifting a finger, during the entirety of her life, because she was never involved in family affairs, before our mother offered her the opportunity to live in the house she was ultimately to inherit there are 2 properties), probably because mom was using all she could to bash me over the head. So, sis was just a tool and didn’t know it. Still doesn’t. Just knows she’s winning. Wouldn’t change much though, even if she was cooperative. We’ve been triangulated by our mother for so long, I wouldn’t piss on her, if she were in fire.

Even though all her life no one could stand her and always had nothing but bad things to say about her. Such insanity. There are no words! Recently I finally let my ex bf vulnerable narcissist have it right between the eyes as only an empath can when they're pushed too far.
I knew I was disregulating but couldn't get a grip. All I could do was text because he wouldn't talk to me. All I could do was lash out in sheer pain and dump years of lying, cheating, and criticism back onto him.
Felt like I was banging on a hard wall of silence. But I know what I said went deep. I may never know how deep because I burned every bridge so he'd never look in my direction again, and now I can focus on recovery.

When dealing with narcissism, you should know that it’s not personal. “It isn’t personal” is one of those cliches used to cushion all kinds of bad actions taken by people who need an out for being immoral, but in this case it's truth. Narcissists don’t know how to love; they can’t afford to spare the energy to learn, because they’re always in a state of high emergency, cataloging potential threats and redoubling their defenses. When they claim to love you, it means nothing. They may even think they mean it, but they don’t understand the concept - they can’t feel it. They never attach to you or anyone else. Other people are paper cut-outs to the narcissist, like those cardboard figures of celebrities you pose next to for a selfie. Narcissists value their own children only as mirrors of themselves. Loads of them brag about being a good parent and seek compliments for that only to hide their masks. When they destabilize you or attack you, it means nothing. They are stuck in an endless conversation with themselves, in which you are an inanimate object, to be assigned their own faults and used as a surrogate punching bag for their hatred of themselves. When they toss you out, it’s no more meaningful than a junkie tossing away a needle; when they try to reel you back in, it only means that they tired of the new drug and need a hit of the old. None of this is personal. They’re too terrified to have close personal relationships, opting instead for extraction of admiration from a subservient partner whose range of action they strictly constrain. This is not personal. None of it. The narcissist does not know who you are - it doesn’t know how to know other people. Like the vampire or the chainsaw-wielding creature in the horror film, it’s from another world, bereft of the concept of human connection. Moreover, People wonder why they end up hurt, seriously hurt, and even killed for their own actions. ' - Cara Lee

But years later, when my mother was dying and I was going to her side for 2 weeks. He was telling me how he was bored and wanted a divorce. That said, I'm still trying to get rid of him as he just wants to stay and torcher me. When I had sudden serious intestinal surgery 5 months ago, it was such an inconvenience for him. I hope you're able to get away. My father stayed married to my unempathic mother for 52 years. When he died, she had alienated all his relatives, including his only daughter (me). He died in a house so hoarded with clothes, he only had two drawers for his stuff (in a FOUR-BEDROOM HOUSE!). She didn't buy him any food he liked. She liked to eat tripe and boiled everything. He was the one who cooked and cleaned and still worked a full-time job. She was lazy. And when his health deteriorated, the house fell apart because he was no longer keeping it up. And yet he stayed with her. I felt sorry for him, but even when he was dying, he was defending my mother. She stole his wallet and hid it in her purse, and watched as he yelled at me and accused me of stealing it. Months later, she said, she "found it" in her purse. Narcissists are just evil. They break the Ten Commandments on a regular basis with no remorse.

Once he gained their trust, he then triangualted all of them..and caused a complete division among the church. I tried to warn the pastors not to help...but they did so anyway. Exactly as she said! My sibling always got herself into these dramas and crisis…she had and has no common sense. my parents and I would always help her out….all the while she told everyone that she was the only one in the family with her sh*t together- we were the dumb f*cks! As soon as she was back up on her feet, she would discard us UNTIL her next emergency. She always repaid my parents and me with evil.
From an early age, she was odd. She wouldn’t talk to me and she always gave me the evil eye. Our aunt told me before she died, looking back, that my sister always thought she was better than me.
My sister manipulated mom out of her life savings, then after mom died, evil sister claimed mom had gambled it all alway. Old bank records proved otherwise. For ten years, weekly, never missed a week, sister swindled with Mom writing her checks. My sister was my parents’ golden child, I was the scapegoat in this dysfunctional family. My parents gave me nothing, I had to pay every red cent of my college- no help from them. I don’t resent my parents because their money is theirs. They can give it to whoever they want. But for evil sister to gaslight me like that, shows that she knew she did wrong and wanted to cover it up. Evi!
From an early age my sister ran smear campaigns on me. I must have had my head up my a**, because - the general pattern was like, my friends would stop liking me after they started to associate with my evil sister.
When our Dad was dying and unconscious, I walked into his hospital room, Evil sat there watching him. She looked like she was getting off on it, Dad dying. She was enjoying it! Actually enjoying watching him die. I didn’t know who that person was sitting there. Pure evil. Her mask was completely off and I saw the demons driving the meat bag.
Afterwards she tried to cheat me out of part of the house and insurance money but couldn’t. Finally the spell was broken. I couldn’t deny it any more how evil she was!
Now I live looking over my shoulder. I’m waiting for that phone call- you know, the one from the damsel in distress- the evil demons get stuffed back down into the meat suit and hide and the sweet, innocent, special little babydoll who wouldn’t hurt a fly image re-emerges- in the sweetest voice, help me, help me, help me!!!!! All the while batting her eye lashes.
BUT unfortunately for this evil creature’s intentions and purposes, my blinders are off and the empathy well has dried up -- no knight in shining armor is coming to rescue her ever again!

    This is on point 😢
I helped my Narcissist husband after losing his job. We were separated during the time. He pretended that he had changed. We went to counseling with my Pastor and he even started going church and pretended to accept salvation. A member in the church helped him to get employed where he worked and required that he continue to do well.
Well, he did to well for a short while. He would call at night and ask for help in learning and interpreting his job tasks. I helped him faithfully.
He later began leaving the home at night and then Manipulated the Pastor into to telling me to not to be so hard on him when he go out to visit his elderly mother.
To make a long story short, he strayed away and started cheating. I became pregnant with our 2nd child.
After the baby was born, things got worse and worse. He warned me not to talk to the Pastor about his behavior but I did speak with a church mentor for my child. He took it upon himself to call my ex husband to invite him to a daddy daughter dance. My ex husband became infuriated and immediately said I told you not to be talking to the church about my business!
He later moved out and left the 2 kids and me while I was at a low point in my life.
So, yes, a narc do not care about you or their children. It’s all about control and what they want. They do not want their true identity exposed.

I recently came across a quote from a book that perfectly describes a narcissist. I'm sharing it below for all that are interested.
"Above all, do not lie to yourself. A man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point where he does not discern any truth either in himself or anywhere around him, and thus falls into disrespect towards himself and others. Not respecting anyone, he ceases to love, and having no love, he gives himself up to passions and coarse pleasures in order to occupy and amuse himself, and in his vices reaches complete beastiality, and it all comes from lying continually to others and himself. A man who lies to himself is often the first to take offense. it sometimes feels very good to take offense, doesn't it? And surely he knows that no one has offended him, and that he himself has invented the offense and told lies just for the beauty of it, that he has exaggerated for the sake of effect, that he has picked up on a word and made a mountain out of a pea--he knows all of that, and still he is the first to take offense, he likes feeling offended, it gives him great pleasure, and thus he reaches the point of real hostility..."

Looking back on my life I wonder how its possible Im like a narc target? I think its they seek above all else loyalty, and empathy because they have none. If you do and they know it and they hit rock bottom. they will want it back - no matter what they did to you

My narc eventually ended up in the ER and almost passed away. I stayed with him and visited him everyday. While there, he said that he thought about everything and all of his bad decisions (empathy & sympathy game). However once he was doing better and was released, he left me for another person. This was so hurtful because he actually left me for a downgrade and it was just 4 weeks after my mother passed away and it didn't matter to him at all.

My grandfather is a narc and so is my father , and ive seen some collapsed narcs like the day they are dumped, or getting dumped. They are still entitled but maybe this guy wasn't in a collapse i was helping him, and giving him a ride, and he was still acting entitled and upset i took a road that had more traffic apparently while i was helping him, and supporting him, he was still complaining, and a few years later when i had more healing ,reparenting , and better boundaries I noticed even more clearly when we reconected how much of a narcisist he was total toxic narc gaslighter...... My grandpa is in his 90s and he was really needing empathy the family resonates with me because I am an empath, but now i have 3 years in healing from the trauma of growing up in a narc family system, so like i mentioned earlier that means better boundaries and not letting people project at me, their shit, speaking up for myself and valuing my self. But since i am an empath, they resonated for me to visit my grandpa often and i did , but he was also a taker, i left feeling drained, one time i visisted him in the hospital he was so angry that i wasn't comfortable, and the thing is both my dad and my grandpa live together now and their both narcs so when i go my dad also shows up and that means i have to deal with 2 narcs and they are draining. One is enough for one day, and after i go i need to selfcare a lot , connect with empathic people and pray even because the draining feeling of interacting with a narc so long is a lot. 2 narcs is too much..... So anyway my grandfather needs the support and empathy im willing to call , or visit but i need to do it ever so often and keep boundaries, and he was a little contemptuous at me for not visiting or calling , that was when he was in the hospital so i was like, hmmm, his anger was coming out too, maybe not at me but he was angry in general it wasn't so fun to be around, so he was vulnerable but still his narcisism was sort of present in different ways so it ws uncomfortable i have kept my distance, and would like to call, but i have some stuff present in my life,, that i havent been able, some stuff is triggered i might pay a visit soon... But in regards to the video, yes the collapsed and needy narcisist, stilll is a narcisist.

I'm divorcing a narcissist and I see him going through these things you expressed twice I was tempted to return , but I researched narcissist collapse and two of my adult children told me don't go back it will not be good so I decided it best to stay away from him. Thanks for the encouragement.

I tried to help my mother when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer as I thought it would bring her to her bottom. But she "rose again" in a blaze of narcissism as the one who won when she died in a brave blaze of glory.🔥 I was so happy when she was gone, but the narcissism was still horribly alive in the family with father and youngest sister.

Yes I have tried to help a narcissist in collapse who was also volatile and full of threats after the initial love-bombing and connection - the collapse happened when I left them as I had to go back to my country after we came together in the beginning and when I returned they were an absolute mess. But I was discarded as I did not stand for their volatile behaviour though did try to have empathy for their state. They did not like that I was stronger or that I saw them in their fragile state of darkness which I named and said they could come through it. I was shocked by their abusive and volatile behaviour and so I just walked and left them to it. I have no idea how they are, but I could not stand for being hurt when I came all the way back for them. But I was there for collapse, possibly caused by me leaving the first time, but on my return I could do nothing to help them or I was going down with them. Leaving again probably caused a bigger collapse, I hope no one is hurt in that process. I got out however, I have never experienced anything like it. They said they had all these other (married) people as a way to hurt me among things, but I saw nothing but pain. I guess they were trying to bring me down to their dysfunctional level. I am in a good place with my life thankfully ❤I am enjoying your videos! Still working it out, I think he threw or pushed away something he wanted in the collapse as sabotage and I dodged a bullet. Still was painful.

Yeap. He's moved onto an old friend of his. A very good man who actually made a change in his life and has become successful. My X bragingly claims "at least says I take a look at myself" but he doesn't. He has always been who he is. Hasn't changed a bit. Now he's living in a trailer working for him and I'm sure he will cause some trouble eventually in some form or fashion. I've always seen him try and sabotage others. He can't stand to be around humble men for too long. It grates at his inner being lol
