Love to see how much this channel has grown over the years but has kept one thing the same, the honesty in the reviews. Truly a rare thing today
correct, most of the others are just posting clickbait after clickbait unfortunately
how did u post this 3 weeks ago
@@PokeYTthe OP is a channel member so they get to see the videos a few weeks before everyone else
How long have you been following? I’ve been following since 2017/18
@@user-vz1wk1oi4sabout 2 years
I’d argue this is one of *the* most enjoyable videos on this channel. Cool airline in a lesser known country, very detailed, good and all and different flights and aircrafts…
‘We’re here to try everything not just the best seat’
Take that Non Stop Dan
Well, Dan is not quite „a man of the people“ (if you don’t get me, listen to the On-Air Podcast by Dan and Alex ;))
Dan likes soft product actually
I like Dan's content, even if he comes across as a bit entitled. He always said he's a soft product kind of guy and wouldn't mind Emirates 777 business class that people lambast all the time. If you want someone who I really struggle to gel with on aviation youtube, may I suggest someone whose initials are JC.
Im not a fan of knocing any other content providers//everyone is different
@@magnustan841Josh Cahill, well if you're talking about him then I can't disagree more. I love Josh's Trip reports the most and how blunt he is at reviewing airlines. Puts it just as is. Nonstop Dan on the other hand I've found to be more hard to like his vids over the years. Keep in mind I've been watching him since his early days in 2017
Love the fact that you start the video in Incheon talking about air Premia and end the video by the plane parking next to air Premia!
I noticed that too, definitely a funny coincidence.
Paid actor 😂
Suggestion. Fly Oman Air from Muscat to Khasab, no-one that I can find has done a review of the Khasab airport experience, it's the most amazing landing/takeoff, straits of Hormuz on one side and moutains on the other, you can even see Iran across the straits.
I’ve really been enjoying how every video has a voice over now. It makes the reviews so much more enjoyable. I look forward to every single Saturday
Air Astana is very interesting, I wouldn't have thought a Kazakh airline could be so successful
Air Astana is half British owned. I think this investment is a huge part behind its expansion. Long may it continue
It was one of the few airlines that survived Covid without aid
WOW!! 3 Flights ! Man you are INSANELY GOOD.
fr
We always love a rant so you’re fine! An amazingly in-depth video.
Been following your channel for a while but never mentioned this.
Your intro is the best intros among aviator channels out there.. Great job on that ND of course your brutally honest opinions on your flight coverings
Greetings from osloo,Norway
I agree, his intros are superb!
This was a great video, David! I watched the whole thing and it really didn't feel too long!
Of course I watched to the end! It was great to be able to compare across all three flights in one video. 👍🏼
So excited that I can see the newest video! 🎉❤
Excellent and definitely not too long. Thanks for all your hard work editing
Made it to the end, and it flew (lol) by! Thanks for another great video.
Hooray, part 2 is up! Been waiting for this since part 1!!
I definitely watched to the end. I enjoy your videos so much. I don’t think you ramble, I think you fulfill your objective of being informative.
I did, indeed, watch all the way to the end, and definitely enjoyed it.
It Most Over 20 Years Since I fly On B767.Great Trip Report
Refreshing, complete, you took the time fully describe the experience, which is the entire reason for the channel in my eyes. Yes, made to the end, and yes, I enjoyed it. Don’t think for a moment about rushing through anything to shorted the time. Three flights takes a while. It’s all good
You explain everything with so much detailing. Just love it! Keep on with the hard work!
kinda relaxing arching your videos. Thanks!
Watched till the end :D And obviously enjoyed it!
always a good day when we get a simply aviation upload keep up the good work 🙏🏽❤️
Informative. The time flew by. Keep them coming. Appreciate the efforts .
SCAT lives up to its name in every way imaginable. And they have had the only 2 fatal hull losses in Kazakhstan this century.
I love when David does the videos the videos never make you bored
We can enjoy you rambling, so don’t worry, a lot of us stayed up until the end =] I prefer this type of videos so it was good to add another airline to the wishlist!
If you've done SIA Business with their narrow footholes before, I wonder how you'd compare these Air Astana ones to those.
I'm quite impressed with the amenity kit in the final flight.
very solid product, would love to try flying with them in the future!
edit: btw, is the Air Premia dreamliner in FRA is the same with the one in ICN? 😅
I watched the whole thing and it was amazing I remember the first video I watched from your channel, The Swiss C Series 100 from Paris to Vienna via Zurich and seeing how the channel has evolved impresses me!
One day will I get to do this!
Outstanding review. It was nice that you showed both the vegetarian and non vegetarian main courses. Usually, if a reviewer is vegetarian, all you get to see is the vegetarian choices(so annoying to me 😂). If the reviewer isn't vegetarian, everyone who is a vegetarian gets short-changed by not seeing what is offered on board for them. Thanks, David for covering all of the bases. 😊
I watched the whole video and I found it informative and very helpful thank you David.
2 flights that I would recommend you fly and review are both on Korean air! 1st flight is aboard the a380 from JFK to Incheon and the 2nd flight is from Gimpo to Osaka aboard the 737 MAX 8. I’ve been on Korean air’s a380 before back in 2018 and in my opinion they did super great.
Fantastic video as always David!!
Really interesting video and yes stayed watching to the end 👏
I watched to the end! :-) Good video, nice to see a niche airline doing the basics so well
Love your honest reviews. For a flight suggestion, Lufthansa has non stop service from Frankfurt to here in St Louis Missouri.
Looks great tbh, might try them next time doing Asia - Europe routes
Great and honest reviews!
I’m sure I can see why Astana are so confident of their airline, definitely one to look out for 👍🏻
11:00 This is the type of onboard service one enjoys so much, you wish the flight will not come to an end too quickly but should last a little longer.
watched till end. love your videos
Loved it till the end. Well done!
I got the notification for this video right before I had to go to work this afternoon, so this was really nice to watch after a long shift. SCAT airlines sure sounds... interesting :) As expected, this was another great video from you. I'd love to go to Kazakhstan one day if I ever get the chance
I wish every single video has voice overs
I don’t
The long awaited has finally come!
I love these type of videos!! I love all the details and the length :D
Every video I've seen about Air Astana has been really good. I'm really looking forward to visiting Kazakhstan as soon as possible.
lovely video and I stayed till the very end!
Congrats for this long yet very interesting video about this great airline !
I love these long videos, I love to fly and travel but am currently stuck in college, sometime I hope to experience these things also. Thanks for reviewing them!
Air Premia livery almost looks like Brussels airlines livery !!!!
Watched it till the end. Loved it. Your reviews are always engrossing and engaging. Thank you.
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip! And yes, I did watch clear to the end!
During my flight from Beijing to Almaty on the 29th of March, their breakfast options only consisted two vegetarian options but when my flight out had only beef and chicken options. Though both were fabulous, it was rather interesting to only have vegetarian options
The longer and more detailed your videos are the better. This was very enjoyable 😊
13:42 😂😂😂 23:59 why is this channel so funny hahahaha
And yes I watched to the end, why wouldn't I, some of the best narrating on RUclips at this point! Great video, I hope you enjoyed your trip 🇰🇿
I loved the longer video and stayed until the end! Didn’t even feel time passing!
This airline needs more attention. It looks amazing and it would be super cool to fly in an Astana 767!
Thorough work.
Thank you for that amazing review once again! The registration you mentioned in 3:28 is EI-KEB instead of EI-EKB (what you said :))
Enjoyed from Start to Finish, thank you David!
The first row in those Thompson's are much better for foot room, I am 195cm and EU47 and even traveling alone I now take row 1 if possible (on SQ 737-8)
I saw your flight from Seoul from my window))
I watched the entire video and enjoyed it all. You do high quality work focusing on the airline versus focusing on yourself like Josh Cahill does.
Great flight and review.
Another excellent video.
Very good review and Air Astana is probably one of the most underrated airlines out there. The food looked very well presented and not far behind from Qatar, I would argue. Josh Cahill is a big fan of Air Astana and now I have watched this video I totally get it. I would love to try them as well one day.
Like your videos and presentation. Danke für air Astana. You ended up where you began air Premier,,,,
My fascination with aviation in Central Asia only grew with this vid. I believe there are still Avros and Maddogs in Kyrgyzstan or somewhere around there, Noel made a review of those.
Taking this same route in Business Class next week.
That shoeshine caught you off guard something fierce there. 😅😅 Great video!
I enjoyed the entire video. Great job
you make me wanna book a flight with air astana now ! awesiome video david !! thank you soo much, well worth sticking around haha
Felt really long . However kept informative throughout 👌. Kudos for keeping the channel sponsor free. Slowly became a fan from fellow av geek.🤓
I prefer trip reports rather than brutally honest. So I kindly request you to Post a trip report on air India . You post very true and honest reviews about airlines. That's the reason I am watching this channel since 4 years
I watched the whole video too ;) Thank you, very nice. Dunno their pricing but the shown service looked very solid.
Super! Thank you!
I am truly impressed by Astanas food service!
Crazy to think that Air Astans's 767s are actually younger than some early 787s flying.
Stuck out till the end of the video? That's a given thing David. I love your videos, you nail every small bit without ANY nonsense. Just the right facts, details and shots. Truly every video is a masterpiece. Kudos to the team. Salam ❤
The meals onboard Air Astana look so mouth-watering! Excellent reviews, David and Co.!
Anyone else notice how he passed by an Air Premia 787 while departing Seoul, and then pulled in next to an Air Premia 787 in Frankfurt? 👀 Maybe its a sign to make a video about them next haha
I watched till the end. Excellent review.
Air Astana is way better than i would have expected based on this video, they really should have joined an alliance or simply offer more mileage earning opportunities for ffp members from other parts of the world.
I think Air Astana is truly missing on its potential. Kazakhstan is located in the middle between Europe and Asia, and since the closure of Russian airspace it could serve as a bridge between the continents. However they would have to settle on one hub and build and airport that is truly fit for international travel.
I made it to the end - of both videos. I feel you did a fantastic job!
Excellent review of Air Astana David. After watching your review I will definitely try Air Astana when I have the opportunity to do.
It was a great video !
How to you make sure the airline doesn’t tell the crew you are on board ? Is it trust based ?
Appetising food and a rare trip on a 767. Great seat pod. Really like it. 😊
It's a sad testament to American aviation when developing countries such as Kazakhstan offer a far superior domestic travel product. I cringe at the thought of flying anywhere domestically, yet I'm always eager to fly on a foreign airline. I wish Air Astana success in their future endeavors, they look very promising..
This in particular is amazing review
Your Chanel has made me love air Astana lol
Did I miss it? Or wasn’t a reason provided as to why preferred security check couldn’t be used even for Business Class at Incheon?
Great Detailed Video David. Solid in-depth Review done by you. Air Astana experience looks amazing from your eyes. I didn’t even feel the Video was long. It felt like I myself was traveling with you and enjoying the In Flight Travel Experience. Keep up the Good Work.
Watched the whole thing. Im interested in flights from Europe to Asia especially if you combine biz class with economy flights to save money.....
Brutally honest is the best flight review format ❤
Looking forward to the Iceland Air video. I was very satisfied with the SAGA class.
This is probably one of the best intros of all time, although I would like to see one with the same music that features some of the greatest moments from previous videos. Kinda like the roadkill intro on motor trend
