I still remember watching httyd for the first time. I was 8, not into animated movies, but was forced to watch it by my cousin. Since then, I've watched the first part countless times and the same with the second and thrid. Now I am 19 and happened to come across this arrangement... and Man! Up until this day I never knew how big role httyd played in my life. As I was listening, tears were streaming down my face and I had the good old childhood days flash before my eyes. My childhood ended with the last movie but I just got all the good memories back. After hearing this song I was immediately in love with it. I may still be learning, but there's such a wonderful influence. The nostalgia is so high, and the song and the way it is arranged are just so powerful. It truly is amazing to see music grow and to see generations all over learning. It is sad to know that music doesn't have a big impact on as many people as it should. I feel like music has changed lives all over, and it's amazing to see generations and tutorials like this open to the public for all those to experience the beauty and emotion that was put into this. It was performed amazingly and the dynamics and contrast were just great. I swear if only I'd watched this sooner...

The nostalgia. I cannot say how much I love HTTYD. I don't know how many times I've watched the first and second movie, and nobody knows how many times I've watched the show on Netflix. This song makes me feel so happy. It's nice on piano. I don't know what else to say. HTTYD was the first movie I ever watched, and I'm glad I did watch it. There's so much nostalgia in this song. Everything is perfect about HTTYD. Everything about this video is perfect.

If there was ever a movie I would say started my childhood, it would be how to train your dragon. This movie is actually the first one I remember watching ever and if things go well, I want it to be the last. That's how much it has impacted my life, something that brought wonder and joy to my life still does whenever I watch it, the characters the beauty of how everything looks and my god the music, pure Magic! Thank you DreamWorks studios for making my childhood.

some advice for anyone trying to learn this: split the song into sections (intro 1, intro 2, chorus 1, chorus 2 ect...) and those sections into sections (right hand and left hand). and start off by playing really slow so I would recommend putting the video on a playback speed of 0.25 and following along. it takes a bit longer to learn it but you will be good at each part equally. also a tip with the bigger chords that he is doing. I would recommend doing hand stretching exercises as well as tapping individual fingers on a table top in different formations to help with control. I have been playing piano for 8 years and these tips have helped me greatly. have a good day :)

I don't know if anyone will see this, but just think: I know How to Train Your Dragon is made by dreamworks, but a bunch of the disney movies have been getting live action remakes (I know the lion king is technically still animation, but still), and I think these movies should be the next live action remakes. It has so much potential and, if done right, will give so much nostalgia to old-time fans of the movies, and be great for people who haven't seen the originals. If we get a live action How to Train Your Dragon, I will live a happy man.

I was just sat here… and realised this feeling the song gives me. Adventure, curiosity and excitement of the unknowing, the world around me… it’s fading. I’m 21 and all I see around me is hate and sadness, anger, arguments, war, rich and poor, 9-5 work, uni kids being scammed out of education, the list goes on… and these feelings I had as a kid, I’ll most likely never feel ever again. 😢
