The conductor looks like she’s having a lot of fun, and really engaging with her students. That’s how orchestra teachers should be. Bravo to her, and the orchestra for playing such a beautiful baroque piece!
If she had been my orchestra instructor in grade school I would have had such a crush on her. Her enthusiasm of Ms Marshall is clearly evident in her every wave of her baton. Way to go kiddos, nice performance with outstanding intonation.
My orchestra Teacher told me that Sinfiona dosent go with Conducting because it was made in a time that there wasnt much conducting so the "conducter"would play with a Violin
Yes, and all of the upper strings played standing up. You can see some examples of pieces played in that fashion on this channel. See: ruclips.net/video/d1rajl7Io1U/видео.html
A list of baroque composers includes more than just Telemann, see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Baroque_composers This piece was composed by Telemann for Trio. It has been arranged for string orchestra by Robert Mathews, along with others. So yes, it was composed by Telemann, and the melodies are so beautiful that they have been restated again and again.
Bravo! Fantastic job! I remember playing this in middle school. A huge thank you to: Dr. Lee Stone (aka Miss Weisner)- a wonderful teacher and Director who pushed us to be the best. We won many "Excellents" in Florida state competitions.
I'm so glad you uploaded both of the orchestra B pieces. My parents didn't get all of the beginning notes so it started a bit short, but you got the whole thing.
make sure you keep up with what bow style you want to present it with, I remember i kind of had trouble keeping up with the staccatos near the end of the piece since it was a bit long haha

Yeah, I’m playing it in a quartet currently with no conductor, works well
It doesn't matters if there is a conductor or there is not. This work is not even real baroque music, since it was not composed by Telemann.
