Please turn the music down. This is a helpful tutorial, but I have to turn the volume all the way up to even hear you, and then you stop talking and the music is suddenly SUPER loud. I'll have to check out that scar wax stuff though.
Little lips I have from doing this! 1) use an oven bake modeling clay or air dry(if you want a permanent mold) to make the ear shape if you dont have scar wax 2) do about 10 layers of latex(more if your an anxious shit like me) and peel it of the base so you domt have to loose scar wax
9:56 "If you want to reuse the ears, you just have to put two new layers of latex in this area as well." Could you explain this? When do you apply new layers of latex? Not every time you want to use them, I assume.
I need some custom ogre ears for my Halloween costume this year as Fiona from Shrek do you think this would work doubt you will answer but figured I'd try
Maybe if it were with a more stiff material so you can attach it to a thin headband or glue it to your wig. I would try making the base out of a thick cardstock (like a cereal box) and covering that with fabric or some type of mermaid clay.
It’s very hard to hear you the music in the background keeps randomly getting really loud an then slowly drops but then gets really loud an ur voice fades away, can u please make subtitles available so I can understand ur instructions better, or can you please include a written step by step that has ur instructions including the name/company of the products ur using to build the ear and what kind of tools ur using, this way I can follow along with ur video on mute with ur written instructions. Hope u feel better.
Elizabeth Bootin yes, sorry about the music! I plan on redoing a new one and I will definitely take all of your suggestions in mind, thank you so much for your input and sorry for getting back to you late!!
i wonder that too :c time is flying by and i haven’t made the time to film new videos. i hope to do so soon if i can get my studio lights out of storage.
I don't think so, you may squish/wrinkle them. Also, your body warmth and a pillow keeping it warm will probably mess it up. Maybe if would be ok if you slept like a vampire in a coffin.
Maybe have someone help you out? I use a sticky note and traced it with the marker pointing inwards (toward my ear) while looking at myself in the mirror

Same i was saying that and you are right
This was a really helpful tutorial, but the music was very loud, I had to turn it down when the music started and back up when you would talk.
Yes, sorry! I as still a youtube video editing noob when I did this video. Forgive me!

Great tips! Will have to try it myself. Mermaid air dry clay might be great to use.

KylaLetzPlay air dry clay
Try mermaid air dry clay

Air dry mermaid clay is light weight and easy to use as an alternative

You can refer to the Albino Elf makeup tutorial on how to apply the ears. ruclips.net/video/U-4lZ9Iq2NM/видео.html

The difficult part is for me to trace my ear
Maybe have someone help you out? I use a sticky note and traced it with the marker pointing inwards (toward my ear) while looking at myself in the mirror
@@MarbleFlesh oh okay, thank you. I love the cosplay though
Your music is so loud I can't hear your commentary? Why would you make your video useless?
That is so rude… if you don’t like it you can move on from it.
