I am absolutely amazed that the first tutorial was EXACTLY what I needed! I swear, I thought I was going to have to buy a new TV. Let me share what happened. I don't know anyone who doesn't need a good laugh. I asked Alexa to find an interview with... She didn't say anything. The screen just froze. I couldn't even power off with my remote. So I unplugged the TV, waited, and plugged it back up. Screen was black, but power light was on. Remote still didn't work. I changed batteries... Nothing. Then I tried to find a power button on the TV. I COULDN'T FIND ONE! UGH! Only me. Dang Alexa. All she had to do was say that she couldn't find what I'd asked for. But NO. She had to freak out, or maybe she was embarrassed and had to X herself out of the system. Did she even know that she disabled my TV? Hey, maybe she unplugged and told my Smart TV, "Let's see you, SMART your way out of THIS." Then she flipped a switch. No matter. Your tutorial saved the day! You saved me 100s of dollars. Let's give Alexa a wicked laugh of victory...MWAH, HA, HA! Many thanks. Now I also learned where the Power button is. 🤪
Literally says WITHOUT the remote, then “just pair your remote”. The whole point is, the TV didn’t come with a FIRE remote, just an Insignia remote, which DOES NOT PAIR!!!
Actually, it says resetting your TV without the remote. Unfortunately, as I found out, it is unusable without pairing a remote. I believe you can use your phone with the FireTV app as a remote.
@@jasonhaymond6448I guess you’re right. I had already restarted it. My RV tv’s came with insignia remotes, not fire TV remotes. The app won’t work unless it’s on a home WiFi. It ended up that one of the tv’s did have a fire remote, so we were able to set it up that way!! Once set up, THEN I could use the app. Such a terrible feature! You should at least be able to connect to WiFi without fully setting up the fire portion!

My tv won’t turn on anymore help :( it used to work years ago but not it doesn’t turn on and it has a red flashing light everytime I plug it in the wall
after I factory reset my tv and it wouldn’t let my remote pair I bought two remotes neither worked only thing that did was buying a official insignia tv remote
This may work,but I looked it up online and Insignia tvs have about 6 or 7 different codes to work for each tv. I have also bought a universal one which allowed me to pair after the 4th code finally worked.
Remote pair wasn't working so I found this. I completed and reset. Unfortunately didn't get the pop up to re-pair the remote and so now it is even more useless than before because i am stuck on the choose language screen with it beeping and can't do anything!

Mine goes straight to language screen and never to the factory reset screen
