Finally this day has come I have been waiting 25 years for this. He single handedly made our historic franchise a laughing stock. Now we can get back to our glory days. Im glad Im old enough to remember that from 82 -92 Washington went to 4 Superbowls and won 3 and made the playoffs 8 times.
Its time for use to get back to that.

Washington in the 80s was a model franchise, Hall of Fame Coach in Joe Gibbs and Bobby Beathard was the one of if not the best GM's in his day. I really hope the new ownership can bring this organization back to some semblance of respectability. 25 years of Dan Synder's mediocrity is enough.
This feel like a superbowl win, its the best feeling I have felt about this team since 1992.

I am thrilled for Washington. Finally, they are rid of the worst owner in the NFL. I guess Roger Goodell and the other owners finally said that enough was enough. Good riddance to bad rubbish. This shows that what goes around comes around.

Nah, the worst owners are the one who have owned teams that have been around since the beginning of the Super Bowl era and have yet to win a Super Bowl.
Teams such as the Browns, Falcons, Chargers, Cardinals, and Lions have been pure utter garbage for their entire history and will never win a Super Bowl.

If people just gave him a chance, he would have been a fantastic owner. His experience coming into ownership of the team was invaluable to the organization. This new ownership group is going to run this team into the ground!
