These can all either be done on the bed or on the floor and only take a few minutes.

I've been doing these stretches to ease off lower back tightness for years. Good to know I was actually doing something right by accident!

I love the way she stretches.
Three years ago I had surgery to repair two herniated discs. During the PT sessions that followed this my therapist told me that she couldn't in good conscious approve of me taking any pain killers (only Tylenol) to ease the low back pain that was ever-present. So, she taught me these exercises that Dr. Ennis is demonstrating. I've used them ever since and they are almost magical in the effect they have in eliminating my occasional low-back discomfort (after especially vigorous exercise - such as rock climbing, hiking and cycling). Much thanks to Dr. Ennis - these exercises do really work.

These stretches really help so much I'm doing them three times a day in some cases It's really loosening up my herniated discs keeping everything together I think it's great I'm not assuming that I definitely have to take a break on most exercises when soreness appears as bad as my back is and shoulder

Appreciate You . I have been following your past videos and been helpful!! My sciatica has been relieved ..my piriformis symptoms reduced but still lingering a bit …due to my herniated disk L4-L5 and spinal stenosis …..
I will add these variations to my daily routine ..For others who want to try these. I recommend and I find them helpful to do each exercise for a count of 20 (each side). rest 10 seconds and repeat once more …..Make time to do those once in the morning and again 10!hours later. if you are suffering you will find these very helpful after a few weeks

I've been doing the 'open book' and 'trunk rotation' bits for a while now and get great benefit from them. Nice to see some extra variation ideas in here. I'm going to give some of those a try.

Thanks for these simple and straight to the point exercises. Trying to do these get out of bed & back stretches on a roll matt daily to ease my back pain. Years of lifting at jobs and poor mobility has finally caught up with me. What stretches do you recommend for the neck to improve flexibility and mobility.
