Great question! Sometimes thrifted clothing can have and order like deodorant or perfume smells. Soaking in baking soda for 30 minutes helps you get rid of those smells without ruining the clothes!!

Yeah I am thinking they might have used like a really long denim skirt? Iy looks like they cut it into strips and then took two adjacent to macrame and kept working down. Looks cool but unless I cut parallel to the weft thread, I have a feeling it might fall apart in the wash. Lol imagine the ball of denim you would get after a spin dry 😆.
