    I like the washing technique! Mum's hug on a plate sounds like a perfect meal. Thank you for this one Michael! You're awfully good at yoga, I have to say!

      Mum was horrified when I told her I don’t usually wash my chickens. She is, of course, totally right.
      I have many hidden talents that I can reveal using post production techniques 😂
      Thanks for watching, Susan 😊

    Oh this looks so delicious!!! I love baked chicken. I try to make it a complete meal by cutting up potatoes, onions, a pack of Lipton onion soup mix with veg oil. Tossing potatoes then place marinaded thighs on top & baking. Ugh so good!

      That sounds really lovely. Making a one tray meal saves a lot in energy and (most importantly) the washing up! 😅😊
      Thank you so much for sharing 😊👍❤️

    Why did you say ginger skin left on of course?

    • @ChowWithLau
      @ChowWithLau  Год назад

      Good question, Angie. Traditionally, Chinese cooks don’t remove the skin on the ginger as it gives more flavour and obviously wastes less.
      A lot of recipes show people removing the skins and you simply don’t need to.
      To be honest I used to remove the skin too until my mum saw one of my videos and asked me why I was doing it. Mum knows best! 😅😊
      Hope that answers your question

      @@ChowWithLau thank you for your response and yes it’s answered my question and I will give it a try next time I use ginger. I might try it in my next batch of honey with garlic and ginger ferment. now that’s a delicious combination that you should try.
