Wander seemed to severely overestimate the difficulties of the checks.

I have been playing the Arkham Horror LCG with Chelle and I think that game's RNG, check difficulties, and consequences are getting to me.

@@wanderbots The Cthulhu Mythos franchise has hard check difficulties, those games make you fight tooth and nail to get a victory. Baladins has easy ones, where it is more about planning who to send where. The bell curve of the dice is quite impactful as it makes the dice not very swingy most of the time.

All those skill checks are ridiculously easy. If you have a value of 4 and the difficulty is 8 it's almost impossible to fail with 3D6 in fact raising any stats higher than 12 or so is probably wasted effort.
Was it not possible to enter the chicken farm or the circus stage? The finale seemed to have some characters you did not encounter...

Dancers have to lift up other dancers, that is why they are strong, they lift people.

It's not voice acted. But if you're playing with friends you should just read everything aloud for fun!
