I am extremely biased but I agree! I would put ACNH and Wild World in S tier! While the graphics and aesthetic of wild world does throw you off (it did when I first played it, and even more so now) it managed to still capture me with its personality and atmosphere! The music in WW is my FAVORITE, and I loved the villiager interactions so much! Weird as it sounds I also loved the sound design a lot? I loved to run on my wood floors and the stone paths. It was my first AC game so it definitely has nostalgia factor for me, but new leaf just didn’t capture me the same way! I love ACNH for the aesthetics and all the new things you can do!
I got really burnt out with New Horizons and decided to revisit the original GameCube version. And I have to say, I was in love. The game was so wonderful to play, and it had nothing to do with nostalgia. The villagers were alive, they played sports and everything. I really think it just has such a good spark that newer games couldn't compare to.
That's because the first game was made with love. It was pretty much exactly, what the dev himself had in mind. Living alone without family, paying debts and creating new friendships. Yes, even if it means, that your neighbors aren't the friendliest ones, just like in real life. Even if the first game had the least amount of stuff, it was still a reasonable amount to collect, especially for people who don't have much time. Oh and... NES Games.
Absolutely agree with you, I played New Horizons and when I played Wild World from DS... I really cried, so much nostalgia, these game are absolutely beautiful and they'll never release masterpieces like these again, what a beautiful childhood we had
If we had everything from New Leaf when NH was launched, I’d say New Horizons was the best. Otherwise, it’s New Leaf for me. It introduced so many core features that are just important to the series now, and the welcome amiibo update slapped. Wild World is a close second, I’d even say *that* was number one; if not for the faulting online connection and the fact I had to share my house.
Yeah New Horizons may have some of the best features it's lack of features brings it down a lot. New Leaf had a lot more content. If you aren't a designer then New Horizons doesn't care about you. Unlike other games in the series that focused on every playstyle New Horizons only cares about designers.
No, in ACNH the villagers are completely soulless. In ACNL everyone's friendly and whilst you are in the spotlight, the villagers are still fun, while in ACNH was just zero soul and boring after awhile
thats what i love about wild world!!! i love the fact me and my bf live in the same house in our nintendo ds lite's acww village. i wish they continued to do this but with the possibility of moving out into a seperate house, so u could choose to live together or have seperate houses.
It’s gotta be New Leaf, New Horizons has the potential if we get the missing content that New Leaf had at launch, like the Nintendo items, the roost, interesting furniture sets, the flower clock and maybe some more returning special villagers like Gracie, Kappn or even the mechanics from pocket camp (I can’t remember their names) and froggy chair of course
JashiPeanut oh I’m aware how random the flower clock was but I have a colour wheel made from flowers on my island so it’d be a nice thing to put in the middle instead of the fountain... so it was fully just for me, I also couldn’t think of anything that hasn’t been turned into an object already. Maybe some of the sculptures or custom stand designs.

i've only played pocket camp and new horizons, for some reason, to someone i know, animal crossing was a way of saying "haha u suck lol u dont play actual real games" but animal crossing is pretty fresh now that i've played it. new horizons is now my second favorite game next to splatoon 2. im really glad i found animal crossing channels to help persuade me into getting the game.

What would've been like if only 4 AC games existed? The original on N64 in 1996, WW on Gamecube in 2002, New Leaf on Wii in 2008, and New Horizons on Wii U in 2014? And all came out simultaneously worldwide with optional languages and international stuff(holidays, clothes, and events)? And without any updated versions(just have their bonus contents included from the start in original versions)?

I think that we have to wait before we can judge new horizons. They are gonna add loads of stuff, considering they Plan on updating for, like 3 years. Considering that in 7 months they added -Redd -leif -sea creatures -bunny day -May day -museum day -wedding season And I think also other stuff I can't remember, we can't even imagine how much stuff will come
Imagine if that perfect game was the series finale. No more new installments afterwards while under contract(like what happened with the BTTF movie trilogy). To prevent staleness or unnecessary remakes/reboots. And the classics get re-releases/remasters every several years(like with Whitehead's 16-Bit Sonic ports on IOS).

That and the dialogue literally it killed the animal crossing game. That's what made the games so good in its own original way and set it apart from any other game in the market. They just got lazy in terms of the old features. Like i love all the new stuff they added but why did we have to lose the original animal crossing content at the expense.
Absolutely agree, it was my first AC game, I played it in my childhood and really the soundtrack It is absolutely beautiful, it fits perfectly with the landscapes of the game and that is why I think it is the best animal crossing that exists
I like them adding stuff in regular updates, pacing gameplay like that is very in keeping with the chill vibe the game is going for and if it means developers aren’t being overworked in crunch time hell even better!

The reason why New Horizons scored lower on my personal list is that many features takes months to come out, or a year or 2, and many features are just copies of New Leaf. Not that's it's really bad, but I'm tired of talking to Sable yet again, getting Redd's art, etc. The wedding thing is new, but for me, it not that interesting, and the Easter thing was so annoying with the eggs all over the place. Don't get me wrong, as I love NH, but it feels like a repeat with better graphics and features I have to wait for.

Wild world has by far the bests villagers in the series, they never run out of things to say. And that music is glorious. But I do admit that new horizons kept me engaged for longer periods of time.
I hope you ended up giving it a go! I started on NH but I'm now on NL and loved it more as soon as I realised the villagers were all much more fun. It encourages you to do more than just design.
New horizons is my first animal crossing game, but I'm learning more about other games like new leaf, and thinking "Wait, that wasn't already in the series?" and realizing how much new stuff there was in new horizons
I love City Folk but I defs agree it’s just a Wild World clone. However, I think what City Folk added is enough to just push it up into the A tier. Other than that, I agree with these ranks.
CITY FOLK IS SUPERIOR ALWAYS, until we get a city in a future game, if we do... It added so many unique characters in the city! personally love it. and its not nostalgia either wild world was my first game so...
I would have given City Folk a higher rank, because that's where the nostalgia hits me. Plus, it is a lot like Wild World, but it has the option for more things to do. Like patterns, hairstyles, and just little things.

Yeah i used to think new leaf wasn't my favorite game but after new horizons i realized how good it was. And all the other games actually. The diologue in new horizons is just terrible i think the main problem is that Nintendo have just become a very stingy company since New leaf and very lazy and it shows in everyone they do like the online, the consoles, the games literally everything and its really sad

Personally, I think Let's Go To The City is the best! It's probably mainly due to the nostalgia as it was my first Animal Crossing game, but I love it!

Is it just me or did the OG animal crossing games have such a nostalgic but eerie feeling. I Remember playing Wild World a lot as a very young child and I loved it but it was also kinda eerie but in the best way possible, it was a good eerie vibe but as a child I didn’t notice too much back then. To be honest, idk if it’s the graphics but all previous AC games have that eerie feel, except new horizons.

New Horizon sure was great. But yeah, they really need to have more character interactions. After the month of July, my villagers have been saying the same things every day. Something related to their personality, what I'm wearing, what was I doing yesterday, the upcoming events. It's so frustrating. They should correct this problem in the futur updates.
At least when it comes to items, they will hardly beat NL, as the game had 1764 and NH has 807. They are adding like 10 furniture per update and by the looks of it they aren't even going to update every month. They could update it for 5 years and it would still be nowhere near NL's catalogue.
Now when it comes to updates that add features, it seems like they are just copying what New Leaf did but worse. The museum update didn't get exhibits, gift shop nor silver tools. The dream suite lags a lot more, doesn't offer a random visit option and Wendell is nowhere to be seen (at least give the poor guy a new function...). The diving mechanic now has no challenge, as it is impossible for creatures to escape and there are no obstacles anymore, you also swim so slowly you could literally fall asleep pressing A.
The events haven't been much better either. Bunny day literally pissed off everyone playing. Museum event was incredibly boring and it's prizes were crap. The wedding event was unnecessarily long and repetitive. The fireworks event didn't give you any furniture just random crap that you can hold.

I’ve seen a lot of hate for NH online for pretty good reason but this really puts it into perspective and I love seeing people gush about this game hahahah. I’ve loved it so much honestly, and can’t wait to get even more play time out of it
I think Let's Go To The City is easily the best game in the series. It builds upon everything Wild World did fantastically, and more-some - with a remastering of the soundtrack, especially a plethora of new content that enhanced the Wild World experience, and still maintained detailed, life-like animals
New leaf will always be my favorite. I’d be so happy if the next AC game was nl with a few things from nh like placing furniture outside and paths. Ik this will never happen but 🤷🏻♀️
So, this is the perspective of someone who's first animal crossing game was new horizons, and then went back and played the others afterwards. The inventory is a game changer. In ACNH you can make 50k coins in 10 minutes. In ACNL it takes 5 of those minutes just to go and sell your inventory. After experiencing ACNH's expanded inventory I cant play the old ones. It's just not very fun. If they ported New Leaf to the switch with the expanded inventory and with paths, I think that would be my favorite because the outdoor furniture is a bit overwhelming at times, but I can ignore that just because the extra inventory is so good.
I wish all the animal crossing soundtracks were in NH and could make your own list of songs to play throughout the day, and also sometimes I wish I could turn off the music just to enjoy the sound of the wind and rain. 😊 I also want the police station in NH, I miss the GameCube original police station. 😫
I honestly really like Pocket Camp. Sure, the villager interactions are really repetitive, and the events get old after a while. But, the events make it fun. There’s new furniture for every event which can help you customize your campsite and or cabin. It’s a pretty good time waster if you’re bored. I’ve played it while waiting 5 FREAKING HOURS for a blood draw and while I was on long road trips. I’ll probably play it a lot more in the near future…
I have a certain nostalgia for wild world I was never able to buy Nintendo products so going to my best friends house, playing on her ds and just asking villagers to meet up to then never do it because it wasn't my ds was just fun With new horizons being the first Nintendo related thing I have ever bought it adds another feeling of happiness Being able to do what I want without asking my friend while still having a certain nostalgia for specific villagers
My first game was New Leaf so idk if my opinion is exactly valid in this tier ranking because I was only like 7 or 8 when I first heard of what Animal Crossing was lol. New Leaf has been my favorite (probably due to nostalgia) but it’s what officially got me into this game series and I can’t wait for more. Julian was on my New Leaf island and I loved him and now I have him in New Horizons ✨✨✨ I do wish that character dialogue and stuff was better in New Horizons so that’s probably why I put it lower than New Leaf. Dialogue with characters and other features was what really made me love the game so much and I couldn’t feel the same way about New Horizons because of it :( I hope they update the game at some point so every personal type sounds more unique.
As a relitively new fan, I actually would have to go with New Leaf. I was really disappointed with New Horizons; New Leaf just had so much variety, and I personally found New Horizons a little lacking in that regard. I can see why so many people like it, but it just doesn't appeal to me as much unfortunetly. :/

I...really liked some mechanics introduced in happy home designer. The Best part of that game was definatly the buildings decoration. I loved it! I put my heart in every building I designer the interior of. And it gave me such a satisfaction seeing the animals be there, live their lives! Like, heck yeah I love seeing the villagers enjoy a night at the opera, or seeing them nervous for school, or at work during a meeting. I would absolutely love an updated version for The switch where yes, you can design homes, but you have loads of buildings to design too! And There are polenta of buildings they could make you design! There could be Kicks'shoe shop, the able sisters, Brewster ' s café, Gracie Grace's boutique, Leif's Plant Shop, the nooklings's shop! They could also add things, maybe related to other characters too! Like, an office where Raymond could work with other buisness-related villagers, like, the monkey with weird make - up (can't remember what's her name) could be a secretary and stuff! Maybe, you could befriend the villagers in a building you design, And then they come up with an Idea for a new building!

I absolutely agree with you! Everyone talks about New Leaf and New Horizons forgetting that beautiful video game with amazingly funny and charismatic dialogues and a UNIQUE soundtrack. It's okay that New Leaf is a very good game with a lot to do, but the soundtrack in a video game is very important, it's what over the years you remember and it makes you cry of happiness remembering it with affection, transporting you to the time you played it and were happy. And, being Animal Crossing, also the dialogues, that's why New Leaf is still enjoyable, as time goes by. it hasn't marked you the way Wild World did. I'll never forget that soundtrack at sunset, looking at the sky and enjoying that beautiful landscape, not so beautiful if not for its soundtrack, makes a video game that those of us who play it and love from the heart will always remember it fondly and we will want to replay it over time like me for example
Wild world was my intro to animal crossing. So I've got nostalgia for it. I hated being mayor in new leaf but the mini games were great. New horizons is...a work in progress.
I never knew about animal crossing considering I grew up when city folk, AND new leaf came WITH a 3Ds AND a wii but from seeing my cousin playing new horizons persuaded me into buying it and now I have almost 200 hours in from just a month of having it. It’s the best game from Nintendo for me
Somehow I felt the series should've leaned more on the simulation aspect (like the sims) as it went on, but it became more & more a garden-scaping tool. But I guess it worked well for them lol.

NH is definitely my favorite out of the series, I know new leaf is a fan favorite but when I got the game when I came out I got bored and put it down, I have hundreds of hours in NH and it’s just personally my favorite
happy home designer id my favorite, and i think it's actually a really good game. i can see it not being fun for people used to the formula of the original, but it's great for people like me who play sims and stardew valley for hours on end just to power through. it's not the same as the waiting and challenge of the mainline games, but it's the most accessible animal crossing game for players like me.
My main complaint about the later animal crossing games is the animals lack the personality depth the original has. I got called a nit wit by my neighbor, you can't get that experience in New Horizons. Less cute, more mean.
New leaf is my favorite. I love almost every aspect of the game. I enjoyed the public works projects, I love Isabelle, Leif, Reese, Cyrus, Luna, and Digby, I loved the sewing machine, the online play, Tortimer island, all the shops characters and upgrades, the events and so so sooo much more. I loved playing this when it came out and for the most part I really enjoyed the welcome amiibo update so it’s my favorite and an easy s with Wild world in a for being and hour taker and nostalgic. City folk it also a because it’s basically wild world I just wish they would do more with it. A for new horizons. I love new horizons and placing furniture outside and the terraforming and the fact that some of your favorite villagers will ask to move instead of in previous games were you revive a heartbreaking letter from them. But the lack of characters, shops and over all features brings it down also crafting is VERY tedious so A tier. Happy home designer was fun and decent but not a game I would come back too so b tier pocket camp also is b tier cuz it’s not the best nor something I’d typically play but I had my fun with it. AC Plaza was cool I loved Mii verse and I miss it and I liked seeing what other people had to say and I like all the little special characters and villagers that showed up so C tier. I have never played the original(or e+) but I know a bunch about it so b tier. Finally amiibo festival and easy F.
I started with Wild World and man, what a beautiful game that was. City Folk was a total "meh" in my opinion. New Leaf was better than WW but it made me really miss touch controls and now that I'm playing New Horizons I can also say that it is gonna be my favorite of them all!

I mean, they did add Pascal in the July update I’m pretty sure, so maybe the old characters will come back in future updates?

I think the biggest issue is, like someone mentioned, that it's just an upgraded WW.
What would've been like if only 4 AC games existed? The original on N64 in 1996, WW on Gamecube in 2002, New Leaf on Wii in 2008, and New Horizons on Wii U in 2014? And all came out simultaneously worldwide with optional languages and international stuff(holidays, clothes, and events)? And without any updated versions(just have their bonus contents included from the start in original versions)?

Imagine if that perfect game was the series finale. No more new installments afterwards while under contract(like what happened with the BTTF movie trilogy). To prevent staleness or unnecessary remakes/reboots. And the classics get re-releases/remasters every several years(like with Whitehead's 16-Bit Sonic ports on IOS).
personally, i would've given City Folk an S. like you said it's probably nostalgia, but it's the first Animal Crossing game i've ever played and i've spent hours doing nothing on it because i didn't understand how to play.

City Folk is my favorite. The fact that it's Wild World on Wii with remastered music + the city is super cool.
Only problem I have with NH is the hourly music just doesn’t feel like animal crossing and I would also like to not be classified as a island rep mayor sounds cooler
That and the dialogue literally it killed the animal crossing game. That's what made the games so good in its own original way and set it apart from any other game in the market. They just got lazy in terms of the old features. Like i love all the new stuff they added but why did we have to lose the original animal crossing content at the expense.

Absolutely agree, it was my first AC game, I played it in my childhood and really the soundtrack It is absolutely beautiful, it fits perfectly with the landscapes of the game and that is why I think it is the best animal crossing that exists

I like them adding stuff in regular updates, pacing gameplay like that is very in keeping with the chill vibe the game is going for and if it means developers aren’t being overworked in crunch time hell even better!

The reason why New Horizons scored lower on my personal list is that many features takes months to come out, or a year or 2, and many features are just copies of New Leaf. Not that's it's really bad, but I'm tired of talking to Sable yet again, getting Redd's art, etc. The wedding thing is new, but for me, it not that interesting, and the Easter thing was so annoying with the eggs all over the place.
Don't get me wrong, as I love NH, but it feels like a repeat with better graphics and features I have to wait for.

Wild world has by far the bests villagers in the series, they never run out of things to say. And that music is glorious. But I do admit that new horizons kept me engaged for longer periods of time.

I hope you ended up giving it a go! I started on NH but I'm now on NL and loved it more as soon as I realised the villagers were all much more fun. It encourages you to do more than just design.

I love City Folk but I defs agree it’s just a Wild World clone. However, I think what City Folk added is enough to just push it up into the A tier. Other than that, I agree with these ranks.
CITY FOLK IS SUPERIOR ALWAYS, until we get a city in a future game, if we do... It added so many unique characters in the city! personally love it. and its not nostalgia either wild world was my first game so...
I would have given City Folk a higher rank, because that's where the nostalgia hits me. Plus, it is a lot like Wild World, but it has the option for more things to do. Like patterns, hairstyles, and just little things.

Yeah i used to think new leaf wasn't my favorite game but after new horizons i realized how good it was. And all the other games actually. The diologue in new horizons is just terrible i think the main problem is that Nintendo have just become a very stingy company since New leaf and very lazy and it shows in everyone they do like the online, the consoles, the games literally everything and its really sad

But in the original games you lived amongst the animals and were apart of a community, and i think new leaf was a great way of bringing new things to the game but keeping the original morals and law of animal crossing but new horizons just destroys animal crossing law and the intention of the sereis

Is it just me or did the OG animal crossing games have such a nostalgic but eerie feeling. I Remember playing Wild World a lot as a very young child and I loved it but it was also kinda eerie but in the best way possible, it was a good eerie vibe but as a child I didn’t notice too much back then. To be honest, idk if it’s the graphics but all previous AC games have that eerie feel, except new horizons.

New Horizon sure was great. But yeah, they really need to have more character interactions. After the month of July, my villagers have been saying the same things every day. Something related to their personality, what I'm wearing, what was I doing yesterday, the upcoming events. It's so frustrating. They should correct this problem in the futur updates.
Personally new horizons is gonna beat out nl when some more updates come out in the future
At least when it comes to items, they will hardly beat NL, as the game had 1764 and NH has 807. They are adding like 10 furniture per update and by the looks of it they aren't even going to update every month. They could update it for 5 years and it would still be nowhere near NL's catalogue.
Now when it comes to updates that add features, it seems like they are just copying what New Leaf did but worse. The museum update didn't get exhibits, gift shop nor silver tools. The dream suite lags a lot more, doesn't offer a random visit option and Wendell is nowhere to be seen (at least give the poor guy a new function...). The diving mechanic now has no challenge, as it is impossible for creatures to escape and there are no obstacles anymore, you also swim so slowly you could literally fall asleep pressing A.
The events haven't been much better either. Bunny day literally pissed off everyone playing. Museum event was incredibly boring and it's prizes were crap. The wedding event was unnecessarily long and repetitive.
The fireworks event didn't give you any furniture just random crap that you can hold.

I think Let's Go To The City is easily the best game in the series. It builds upon everything Wild World did fantastically, and more-some - with a remastering of the soundtrack, especially a plethora of new content that enhanced the Wild World experience, and still maintained detailed, life-like animals
New leaf will always be my favorite. I’d be so happy if the next AC game was nl with a few things from nh like placing furniture outside and paths. Ik this will never happen but 🤷🏻♀️
So, this is the perspective of someone who's first animal crossing game was new horizons, and then went back and played the others afterwards. The inventory is a game changer. In ACNH you can make 50k coins in 10 minutes. In ACNL it takes 5 of those minutes just to go and sell your inventory. After experiencing ACNH's expanded inventory I cant play the old ones. It's just not very fun. If they ported New Leaf to the switch with the expanded inventory and with paths, I think that would be my favorite because the outdoor furniture is a bit overwhelming at times, but I can ignore that just because the extra inventory is so good.
I wish all the animal crossing soundtracks were in NH and could make your own list of songs to play throughout the day, and also sometimes I wish I could turn off the music just to enjoy the sound of the wind and rain. 😊 I also want the police station in NH, I miss the GameCube original police station. 😫
I have no doubts that by January, 2021 new horizons is gonna be even more amazing than it already is. Can't wait for my brewster boi to be back

I honestly really like Pocket Camp. Sure, the villager interactions are really repetitive, and the events get old after a while. But, the events make it fun. There’s new furniture for every event which can help you customize your campsite and or cabin. It’s a pretty good time waster if you’re bored. I’ve played it while waiting 5 FREAKING HOURS for a blood draw and while I was on long road trips. I’ll probably play it a lot more in the near future…
personally, my S tier is also NH. there’s just something about it, and i’ve spent SO many hours in it and it never gets boring. love it!

I was never able to buy Nintendo products so going to my best friends house, playing on her ds and just asking villagers to meet up to then never do it because it wasn't my ds was just fun
With new horizons being the first Nintendo related thing I have ever bought it adds another feeling of happiness

My first game was New Leaf so idk if my opinion is exactly valid in this tier ranking because I was only like 7 or 8 when I first heard of what Animal Crossing was lol. New Leaf has been my favorite (probably due to nostalgia) but it’s what officially got me into this game series and I can’t wait for more. Julian was on my New Leaf island and I loved him and now I have him in New Horizons ✨✨✨ I do wish that character dialogue and stuff was better in New Horizons so that’s probably why I put it lower than New Leaf. Dialogue with characters and other features was what really made me love the game so much and I couldn’t feel the same way about New Horizons because of it :( I hope they update the game at some point so every personal type sounds more unique.

As a relitively new fan, I actually would have to go with New Leaf. I was really disappointed with New Horizons; New Leaf just had so much variety, and I personally found New Horizons a little lacking in that regard.
I can see why so many people like it, but it just doesn't appeal to me as much unfortunetly. :/

I...really liked some mechanics introduced in happy home designer.
The Best part of that game was definatly the buildings decoration. I loved it! I put my heart in every building I designer the interior of. And it gave me such a satisfaction seeing the animals be there, live their lives! Like, heck yeah I love seeing the villagers enjoy a night at the opera, or seeing them nervous for school, or at work during a meeting. I would absolutely love an updated version for The switch where yes, you can design homes, but you have loads of buildings to design too!
And There are polenta of buildings they could make you design!
There could be Kicks'shoe shop, the able sisters, Brewster ' s café, Gracie Grace's boutique, Leif's Plant Shop, the nooklings's shop!
They could also add things, maybe related to other characters too! Like, an office where Raymond could work with other buisness-related villagers, like, the monkey with weird make - up (can't remember what's her name) could be a secretary and stuff! Maybe, you could befriend the villagers in a building you design, And then they come up with an Idea for a new building!

I absolutely agree with you! Everyone talks about New Leaf and New Horizons forgetting that beautiful video game with amazingly funny and charismatic dialogues and a UNIQUE soundtrack. It's okay that New Leaf is a very good game with a lot to do, but the soundtrack in a video game is very important, it's what over the years you remember and it makes you cry of happiness remembering it with affection, transporting you to the time you played it and were happy. And, being Animal Crossing, also the dialogues, that's why New Leaf is still enjoyable, as time goes by. it hasn't marked you the way Wild World did. I'll never forget that soundtrack at sunset, looking at the sky and enjoying that beautiful landscape, not so beautiful if not for its soundtrack, makes a video game that those of us who play it and love from the heart will always remember it fondly and we will want to replay it over time like me for example
Fun fact: In Asia the first animal crossing was actually released earlier on the N64, hence why it looks much older than other GameCube games

happy home designer id my favorite, and i think it's actually a really good game. i can see it not being fun for people used to the formula of the original, but it's great for people like me who play sims and stardew valley for hours on end just to power through. it's not the same as the waiting and challenge of the mainline games, but it's the most accessible animal crossing game for players like me.

My main complaint about the later animal crossing games is the animals lack the personality depth the original has. I got called a nit wit by my neighbor, you can't get that experience in New Horizons.

New leaf is my favorite. I love almost every aspect of the game. I enjoyed the public works projects, I love Isabelle, Leif, Reese, Cyrus, Luna, and Digby, I loved the sewing machine, the online play, Tortimer island, all the shops characters and upgrades, the events and so so sooo much more. I loved playing this when it came out and for the most part I really enjoyed the welcome amiibo update so it’s my favorite and an easy s with Wild world in a for being and hour taker and nostalgic. City folk it also a because it’s basically wild world I just wish they would do more with it. A for new horizons. I love new horizons and placing furniture outside and the terraforming and the fact that some of your favorite villagers will ask to move instead of in previous games were you revive a heartbreaking letter from them. But the lack of characters, shops and over all features brings it down also crafting is VERY tedious so A tier. Happy home designer was fun and decent but not a game I would come back too so b tier pocket camp also is b tier cuz it’s not the best nor something I’d typically play but I had my fun with it. AC Plaza was cool I loved Mii verse and I miss it and I liked seeing what other people had to say and I like all the little special characters and villagers that showed up so C tier. I have never played the original(or e+) but I know a bunch about it so b tier.

I started with Wild World and man, what a beautiful game that was. City Folk was a total "meh" in my opinion. New Leaf was better than WW but it made me really miss touch controls and now that I'm playing New Horizons I can also say that it is gonna be my favorite of them all!
