I agree, the carbon footprint is lower the longer they last. Carbon produce by the production of a new car, its use for say 10 years and its recycling. If you have say a 20 year old car, if it hasn't been crashed or rotten, theres no reason why it shouldn't be on the road, once its maintained well. So, just make new replacement parts, not new cars.
Couldn't wish to meet a nicer chap, he is local and a regular at our monthly classic car meet at the pub. Love the 541R and that little Austin 7 special is a belter.
Great philosophy, Fuzz: just drive them! That is why I prefer my all-original Citroën 2CV, with all its accumulated "life lessons" over a perfectly restored example. If I get another scratch, I don't lose any sleep over it. That does NOT mean that I ignore or abuse the old girl, but she gets driven. Cheers from Canada!
*Was a pleasure to film with you Fuzz! Can’t wait to film some more videos like this for the Landsail Channel in the future!* *What sort of videos would you all like to see in the future?*
I live on a tropical island off northern Australia. My favourite car for decades was the Leyland Moke,or Mini Moke. Fantastic for the dry weather here in the tropics until the wet season begins.😂 But a fantastic work horse that concoquers mountains and beaches ❤ ❤Fuzz ❤
After watching several of the car resto programmes there is only one I watch anymore Car SOS, Fuzz is a very clever bloke and the best at what he does. Realy nice collection as well.
3:07 Dad had a book about add-on engines for bicycles (it was published in the early '50s, as was I) and something similar to that drop-down motor was in it. 70 years later and we do the same with electricity.
Good choice of practical cars. Great to see the Riley 9, can cover a lot of distance in a day in comfort. In my 9 Tourer all day at 90 Km /hr, with suitable gearing, (6 to 1) gearing drive all over Europe as they did for the Monte Carlo.
Nice tour, thanks for sharing 👍✌️😊💜 I love the Jenson! I don't like current batch of EVs, as lithium is a dirty supply chain from start to finish, all very emperor's new clothes imho. Fuzz is right about old cars and their CF, but tbh, Carbon Climate Change is an unproven theory, even in 4000 academic papers no absolute conclusions were drawn in fact we could be heading for solar minima - but I digress. When I had classics they were used several times a week too. I got into classic cars as my uncle owned several sporting, special bodied, Rileys - they were hard to get into and out of too😄 Also next to my uncles' old workshop was Bob Houghton's they restored all sorts of high end classics, ex F1 cars etc back then, and on a Saturday morning, they'd sometimes let me in to sit in some of the cars when I was a kid. My cousin worked for them at one time some years later, they now specialise in Ferraris. Happier times back then😊👍✌️💜
I think I remember you Mr Townshend on a European car rally some 30 years ago ( 1995) the younger you 😆driving the Jenson 541 R in France as I commented to my Co pilot at the time ( we were in an Austin Healey) that one of the best looking motors on the Euro was the Gun Metal grey Jenson - or I’m completely mistaken and the bloke wasn’t you but a spitting image with the lady companion 😂😂
Super collection Fuzz, particularly like the Jenson, these are often overlooked because of the Interceptor, but are equally great cars, I remember them from the TV series Jason King, with Peter Wyngarde & I think The Baron with Steve Forrest, so you are in good company😊
I have ridden a Solex and it inspired me to make my own 2 stroke powered bicycle which can do on a good day about 25mph on one gear. That Jenson though would be my pick .Yes they were crap brand new but very 70,s.I loved cars from that era.
Fuzz, you're missing a Mk3 Cortina from your collection. I'd like to lend you mine, feel free to give it a bit of a tidy up if you want! 😄edit: Oh and a shout for Landsail tyres, I have them on my daily driver and have bought them for the last couple of years.
Careful Fuzz If the likes of J S O get their way supported by Labour the will get Petrol banned entirely Coal supply to heritage railways has already just been about choked ou of existence
Love your cars especially the Jensen. Electric cars are not real cars. If it ain't got a petrol engine it ain't a car its a toy or a robot. Like us petrol engines breath. Electric cars are not for real car people they are for poofs. Give me a v8 or straight 6 any day.

I'd have expected nothing less than eclectic than this from Fuzz - top guy!
Couldn't wish to meet a nicer chap, he is local and a regular at our monthly classic car meet at the pub. Love the 541R and that little Austin 7 special is a belter.
Love to see old cars and bikes being used as intended.
Nice collection Fuzz. I agree, we should use classic car as much as possible, I have for years. Keep up the good work. Cheers Bob
Quote of the video "this car is green too, its been made once!!" 😎😎✌✌👌👌👍
Wow, what a cracking collection of classic vehicles. Amazing Fuzz.
Love Fuzz .. total best guy ever .. deserves all his success ❤
Thank you Fuzz for showing us around your garage.
excellent collection & agree... they must be used.😎
Love just lurve your "use it" message Fuzz. and that Jensen is just lovely. Fibreglass body make running one in the modern world a little easier!
Thanks Fuzz nice to see your car collection.
Great collection and shows that you think beyond the normal classics territory.
This gentlemen is the Yoda of cars, love this guys skill sets. 😎😎✌✌👌👌👍👍
Love that jenson , it's just screaming get back end out , awesome
Great to ssee your old cars being used.

Thanks for sharing Fuzz, great collection.

Hi Luke,
Can we have a toolbox tour from Fuzz please?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Stefano
Ones where they work on engines, not bodywork.!
A nice collection of vintage cars, keep up the good work 👍👍
That Jenson is a dream car for me…. So classic! 😎
Great collection from a firm favourite . Thankyou Fuzz
Love Fuzz, great guy, great garage and fleet 😁👍
What a legend! Real nice bloke and uses his cars too! Spot on
the way you communicate your message is always so clear and compelling!

❤Fuzz ❤
Love the collection and love the garage. So good to see that the vehicles are used properly and not just show cars .
A fantastic taste in cars.
Interesting collection
After watching several of the car resto programmes there is only one I watch anymore Car SOS, Fuzz is a very clever bloke and the best at what he does. Realy nice collection as well.
grat one fuzz i wach all the car sos as well gary from crewe 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love the old Jensen
So pleased to see Gumdrop!
A lovely eclectic mix and all being used.
*Excellent, the 541 looked very proper at Bicester a few weeks ago, and nice to see pre-war cars being appreciated* 👍
And behind the garage are his 10 Ferrari's! Great video, agree with enjoying your classics.
It would be good if Fuzz made a TV show on his own.
That Jensen is a fantastic looking car
3:07 Dad had a book about add-on engines for bicycles (it was published in the early '50s, as was I) and something similar to that drop-down motor was in it. 70 years later and we do the same with electricity.
An amazing man
Great video
My Great-Uncle had a Jensen 541 just like that; same colour, same interior. Stored in my Nan's garage for years and years.
Good to see you back 👍
Love your S.O.S motor cycle sign , I had the pleasure of meeting Len Vale Onslow once 👍
Good choice of practical cars. Great to see the Riley 9, can cover a lot of distance in a day in comfort. In my 9 Tourer all day at 90 Km /hr, with suitable gearing, (6 to 1) gearing drive all over Europe as they did for the Monte Carlo.
Nice to see the Minerva Land Rover. If I'm not mistaken, built by the Belgian Minerva car manufacturer under license for the Belgian army.
Nice tour, thanks for sharing 👍✌️😊💜 I love the Jenson! I don't like current batch of EVs, as lithium is a dirty supply chain from start to finish, all very emperor's new clothes imho. Nice to see a mixed collection and one not too big, personal favourite was the Jensen
Riley Monaco is lovely!
Thank you so much for sharing 😊
What's Tim Shaw got ?. Lol. Great insight into your cars and love how you actually use those classics as they were supposed to be used. Brilliant!!
Some nice old motors there Fuzz.
Super collection Fuzz, particularly like the Jenson, these are often overlooked because of the Interceptor, but are equally great cars, I remember them from the TV series Jason King, with Peter Wyngarde & I think The Baron with Steve Forrest, so you are in good company😊
Great collection of eclectic motahs!
Nice one fuzz just what you would expect 👍 it would be interesting to see what's in Tim's garage and how if at all he would differ from you .
The Jensen is beautiful!
That Jensen, wow!
FUSS I LOVE YOUR GARAGE ❤
Dirty, old and beautiful 😳. I love that Jensen. 👍
I have ridden a Solex and it inspired me to make my own 2 stroke powered bicycle which can do on a good day about 25mph on one gear. That Jenson though would be my pick .Yes they were crap brand new but very 70,s.I loved cars from that era.
Sadik Khan stopped us, driving classic cars in London. My Old Land Rover cost £100 a day to drive in London.
Thanks for the tour, does that mean that Edd China wont be able to drive the Austin?
As it should be!. Old bits of kit out on the road and not gathering dust in some museum!. Nice one!. Nuff said!. 🙂
Good vid
he restored so many others people cars, but not his own :X
Well said sir
Saw "ROTAX" on a dashboard!
Wasn't that Austin on an episode of
car sausage? I'm pretty sure it was....
Fuzz, you're missing a Mk3 Cortina from your collection. I'd like to lend you mine, feel free to give it a bit of a tidy up if you want! 😄edit: Oh and a shout for Landsail tyres, I have them on my daily driver and have bought them for the last couple of years.
Landsail tyres, when you are that poor ending up in a ditch is a preferred destination 😂
So nice to see dirt on a classic.
I was expecting a vintage bus fleet for some reason 💭
I thought i saw fuzz driving the other day in a mgb
What happened to your bus fuzz?
Along with Guy Martin the best mechanics on TV by far.
Amen
Great to see Fuzz on his own. More please, (I find his sidekick unwatchable).
If by his "sidekick" you mean Henry Cole, I couldn't agree more. I can't stand the man.
and with Chinese tyres, do they not make tyres in Europa ?
You’re my favourite TV mechanic Fuzz but… no bus? Lol.
Babboe? watch the welds my friend!
So uncomfortable utilitarian land rover I have experienced one made for farmers and the like but I like the jenson .
I think properly used, cars with patina, are way cooler than concours ones that someone has just shovelled money at.
Fuzz your name is Townshend not Townsend just like mine
Please say it properly bud
👊👊👊
should have been called the fuzz scrapyard
I wonder what corporate suckers will employ them when they are out in the cold.😮
Careful Fuzz If the likes of J S O get their way supported by Labour the will get Petrol banned entirely Coal supply to heritage railways has already just been about choked ou of existence
Lovely collection but no, i would never embrace electric cars, they're not as green as they make them out to be
Not a surprise to be honest.
But he doesn't look remotely ill.
Fuzz youve got nothing fast 😮
Electrocute this
Your baboo bike is banned in the the rest of europe for problems with the frame. Be careful with that one. The frame is so weak it can snap in two
Love your cars especially the Jensen. Electric cars are not real cars. If it ain't got a petrol engine it ain't a car its a toy or a robot. Like us petrol engines breath. Electric cars are not for real car people they are for poofs. Give me a v8 or straight 6 any day.
No doubt robbed some poor old git for most of those cars. Of which i can guarantee you know naff all about.
