I was just saying that the TV wobbles in the feet. I knew I'd wake up and it would be fage down on the floor. I have the 82 and I think it's just to big for the feet provided, if a kid happens to crushed by it then they'll take it seriously. I'm mounting mine now.

Hi, Tina. Hello! Hello there! We'd be more than happy to help you with removing the dual stand from your LG TV. * First things first, let's ensure the TV is powered off and unplugged from the electrical outlet to keep things safe. * Next, find a soft, clean cloth or blanket, and lay it on a flat surface to prevent any scratches or damage to the TV screen. * Now, gently and carefully lay the TV face down on the cloth, making sure the screen doesn't touch the surface directly. * Time to spot those screws! Look for the ones that secure the dual stand to the TV; they're usually located on the bottom rear part of the TV. * Grab the right screwdriver for the job, and gently loosen and remove those screws that attach the dual stand to the TV. * With the screws out of the way, you can now slide the dual stand away from the TV and voilà, it's detached! * Now, all that's left is to set the TV back upright and place it on the desired stand or wall mount. Remember, the exact steps might vary slightly depending on your specific LG TV model. For model-specific guidance, we recommend checking the user manual that came with your TV or visit our LG's official website through this link: www.lg.com/us. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us via private message using @LGUSSupport on Facebook or Twitter. We're here to make things easier for you!

To Frances Scanlon so it took me a while. I just needed some patience. After you place the tv on a soft flat surface, screen down. Turn the legs downwards.. take the right side and turn it down and to the right.. do the same with the left.. Once I got them off I felt so stupid. Anyways hope this helps
Ok scratch that Ms. Frances, on the right side turn it down and to the left. On the left side turndown and to the right. I just tested it out. My apologies for the confusion before. Again I hope this helps.
To remove the LG TV's dual leg, you will need the Philips head screwdriver as described in the video. If you have any further questions, please send us a message via Twitter or Facebook using @LGUSSupport and include the model & serial number for further assistance. Thank you! `Alice

My stands came with 3 screws and each one had 2 washers on them. I had no idea where to put the washers so I left them right where they were, already on the screws under each head. I thought maybe there were two of them for spacing so the screws don't go in too far? Did I do that right? Or is my LG going to topple some day?

Just bought this TV at Costco. Got it home. Installed the legs. Super wobbly. I lodged a complaint with Costco. I was told they constantly get the same complaints. No other TV brand is wobbly like this. It's not worth it. Taking it back.
Maybe the screw is too long. It comes with washers I believe. Try a 14mm length. If the screw does not tighten up it will wobble. I just bought M4 x 14 length on Amazon.

I did everything right trying to install these worse than useless legs on my lg tv and they were never secure enough.. the parts of the legs that are meant to clip into the tv didn’t support the screen properly and popped out every time I lifted the tv . they also made the tv lean ever so slightly, (and yes I did install them correctly) had to buy another stand that was designed PROPERLY and was fit for purpose Seriously LG sort it out 🙄

@@LGUSASupport I tried to reply on your website, but it was useless, no space to do so. The current model LG TVs only need two screws on the feet, not three. But it's still wrong. They're positioned near the edges of the tv, which makes us buy bigger and bigger stands. Your design should have a center foot underneath the tv, which wouldn't go out to the edges. It would only need to be a foot to two, rather than out to the edges. My TV stand was 30 inches wide; had to buy a shelf to make it wide enough for only a 43 inch TV. Great TV, but your feet underneath the TV are a bad design. Should be in the center, not close to the edges.
We see your concerns about the LG TV's stand, and it would be our pleasure to delve deeper into this issue you are facing and what steps we can take, but we must switch to a different platform in order to have back-and-forth conversations, so please direct message us on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag @LGUSSupport, including the model and serial numbers of the TV. Wife busted our old tv. Went ahead and got another 70 inch tv. This time from lg. I must say I hate how lg puts the legs on the very edge of the screen. Off to buy a new tv stand. My tv stand is 67 inches but these legs make my fireplace stand un useable. Should have bought the cheaper 70inch 😂

I was just saying that the TV wobbles in the feet. I knew I'd wake up and it would be fage down on the floor. I have the 82 and I think it's just to big for the feet provided, if a kid happens to crushed by it then they'll take it seriously. I'm mounting mine now.

Hi may I ask how to remove the dual stand?
Hi, Tina.

I just bought M4 x 14 length on Amazon.

the parts of the legs that are meant to clip into the tv didn’t support the screen properly and popped out every time I lifted the tv .
they also made the tv lean ever so slightly, (and yes I did install them correctly)
had to buy another stand that was designed PROPERLY and was fit for purpose
