I would have been hurt many times, my feelings especially, and likely physically too, throughout my teens and twenties, but I learned to be as tough as nails through Keith. As an accountant I travelled throughout Canada, reporting financial statements in front of crowds, shaking hands with a couple of our Prime Ministers, encouraged to be my own imperfect self by KEITH RICHARDS. Make your mistakes, live and learn and unlearn if you want to, enjoy your life trip. It's the only one we've got. I loved Brian Jones too. I could tell he was a trained musician because he could play so many different musical instruments. But I could also tell he could have gotten bored with the direction his band was taking. I wish he could have gotten the chance to go out on his own. He could have created a whole new music genre! As for how the Stones' music evolved without Brian, well, I enjoyed their music all along these 56 years, even with every change they made.
“Some visitors speculate that Brian’s distrust of Anita caused tantrums and violence. Stash Klossowski, one of the few outsiders who was close to all three, remembers a very different atmosphere. ‘Keith didn’t mention that time in his own book-he seems to have erased it from memory. But Brian and Anita didn’t slap each other around then. It wasn’t Brian’s style-it was easier just to disappear then to get in a fight.’ Today it’s impossible to disentangle Keith’s true feelings. One of his key descriptions of Brian is as an unpredictable “bunch of guys,” but as James Phelge points out, ‘then he calls Mick a bunch of guys too. I don’t think he can really remember’.”-Sympathy for the Devil by Paul Trynka

Mick and Keith weren't much on welcoming band members back. The Stones did however invite Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor to play on 2 songs during their 2912 tour. Mick duly acknowledged Brian at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I think that each one had and has had an important role in The Rolling Stones and it is undeniable, Brian Jones was great and I can say that he had one of the most important roles in the band. This is undeniable but to understand everything, you have to see each perspective, if it is true that the Stones were quite united, in Brian's most needy moments they did not help him as such, but Brian did not have family support or anything, on the other hand Brian was great but he had a lot of problems in terms of relationships, be it friendship, band, partner, or he was very sweet or he got too out of control, there was no self-control, which also affected his work in the band and all this with a drug problem. Anyway, I think it is good to consider different points, I cannot say that Mick and Keith were the worst nor Brian, nor can I think that Mick/Keith or Brian were better, since there were many factors to understand the situation
The Stones could play their instruments better than the Beatles, without tons of overdubs. Just compare a mild, pleasant Beatles show from 1964 to the Stones on TAMI from the same year. Stones smoke them.

It was stated their relationship had grown violent as Jones had previously informed Thorogood his services were no longer needed. In other words, Jones fired Thorogood. But, and this may have been Jones' biggest mistake, he allowed Thorogood to stick around for a while and even take a swim before his last exit. That is where the details of what happened after become blurry even though Thorogood tried to make it as clear as crystal years later. @ arya logo - If Keith is an asshole, then we his fans are assets. Ha, I was an accountant throughout all my working years except for a short two years working as a computer network administrator just for the fun of it. Keith has been my hero since 1964 when I was just a country kid in grade school.
Somewhere I read when ringo leave the band in white album session the other three tried to work it to get ringo back and also when george leave the band in get back session the other three also tried hard to get george back, man sometime I wish mick and keith did something like that for brian..
Mick and Keith weren't much on welcoming band members back. The Stones did however invite Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor to play on 2 songs during their 2912 tour. Mick duly acknowledged Brian at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
@@williamlangan5902 agree
Agree 👍 well, the Beatles had real love and respect for each other . Real brothers for sure ❤

Brian Jones was murdered
J m no he drowned bc of drugs duh😣
@@hudson4053 He had some guests over to his house on the night of July 2nd including a man named Frank Thorogood, an employee of Jones.
Both Jones and Thorogood were not getting along.
It was Thorogood himself who decided to confess to the murder of Jones on his death bed in 1993. He told the band's former manager Tom Keylock the following: "It was me that did Brian.
