I heard Mr. Kay say in an interview, that he met Little Richard one time, and that Mr. Richard said to him, 'John Kay, you're a great singer', which Mr. Kay said made him the happiest man in the world. Steppenwolf was such a cool and trendsetter band and definitely should be in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
