What do you think about the lack of communication in the lego Star Wars community with the designers and fans? From my understanding, it seems like the hasbro, specifically Transformers designers are always communicating with the fans. I’m pretty sure they have an instagram account that is used for showing little sneak peaks at the figures that they’ve been working on. I think it would be cool if lego could be like this.
I don't feel like talking about this in a video because frankly I'm tired of feeling bad about how LEGO Star Wars and LEGO has run their fan communities, but yeah it sucks. It sucks that in 2020 despite being told yes, and being told the head designer was excited to do it, the live-stream interview where fans in my chat could ask questions didn't happen. It sucks that they continue to lie to paying customers and pretend they didn't. It sucks that they're so ridiculously secretive over the smallest things. It sucks they refuse to respond to legitimate criticisms of their products like the 212th helmets. (But don't worry, you're favorite LAN-tubers and LAN-blog is ready to ask them the burning questions like "what sets will you make in the future" on for them to answer "we can't answer that" like they do EVERY TIME. It's not all on the designers though, a lot of it is due to pure incompetence at all levels of LEGO's ambassador (shill) program. It is what it is.
@@MandRproductions How would you feel about going behind lego's back for this? I know it would bring up ethical issues, but I'm not talking about sneaking around for leaks, I'm referring to talking directly to some of lego's employees (who I expect, would be just as excited to speak with you) about past products, the good and the bad. Maybe you've tried this before, or maybe I'm missing some egregious moral hazard here, but I think it'd push lego in the right direction (even if it is against their will).
Hearing you mention the LLCA group was nostalgic for me. I was in it at the start but couldn’t stay in because I had to basically pack my whole collection and not collect for years, I feel old now 😂

Ask MNR: With the rumored return of the B2 Battle Droid in 2024, there with it comes an implication that the tall droid legs have been fixed.
Now that the snapping legs have supposedly been fixed, what kind of sets would like to see include figures like BX Commandos and IG-100 Magnaguards?
Me personally, I'd love a Droid Specialist Battle Pack that includes 2 Commando Droids, 2 Magnaguards, and the build being a mini J-1 Proton Cannon as seen in the Clone Wars.
Of course that'd be awesome, a lot of overdue character remakes!

Ask MandR: What are your thoughts on the Lego Star Wars trading card market? It has seemed to spike somewhat out of nowhere with some major influencers pushing them at auction, getting ludicrous amounts for them. It seems like a very unsustainable market, but I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

It wouldnt be a battle pack then cuz all four of them are named characters unless they're gonna get the bounty hunter "battle pack" treatment. I don't think somebody's gonna be building an army of Sevs and Scorches
They wouldnt come in a battlepack. Lego would have to make new molds.

Ask MandR: did you notice that since 2022 helmet holes on p2 clone troopers are only in sets that use them, the 332nd battle pack has captain Vaughn who uses the helmet holes but the 2022 republic fighter tank doesn’t need them so it doesn’t use them
AskMandR: What do you think about the helmet line of sets being replaced. Personally I saw some potential with it after the Rex and Cody helmets.
AskMandR: Do you think Lego are moving to a future without instructions and will make it all online? If this happens would we see a rise in price for instruction booklets?
They tried that with the Mario sets, but the 2024 sets seem to be going back to paper instruction booklets.

Ask mandr: While the glass doors on your display have a pro to not having to dust, do you feel the frame of the doors hinder the visibility. On camera it's always the first thing I notice blocking what sets you have inside.

You know in the 2022 atte there’s actually space for one more clone trooper? If you look behind the cockpit piece, there are some studs where you can easily place a mini fig

Does anyone have any idea which welding machine used to be used to pack the Lego bundles? Like Star Wars, for example, where 2 or more sets were shrink-wrapped together and then a sticker was put on the foil. Did Lego do this themselves or was it done by the retailers?

What if every year Lego releases one high demand retired set, voted for by fans. Exactly as it was originally released, never the same theme twice in a row. They did it with ship in bottle and the NASA Saturn V. They could do it with the Black Pearl for example. A few moulds may need to be reintroduced, but they’d be bound to make enough money back. Thoughts?

Well now I definitely need to get my clone army set up, didn’t expect the shoutout! & to be fair, if you didn’t mind the helmet holes you could have a few thousand 212th added to your army to easily crush mine 😂

A suggestion for dusting
When I worked at Bricks and Minifigs, we used makeup brushes to get between the studs
I just got my first job and I thought it would be cool to work towards saving up for the OG slave I (with bespin guard) sealed,
BUT I have zero good space to put it and I feel like if I get it it will end up like a few of my other sets that are just chunks of really good star wars sets just around my room and under my bed. not exactly sure what to do.

Hey Ryan, Did you know there are actually two versions of the 75257 millenium falcon? The difference is barely noticable, but you can see is if you compare page 118 in the instruction manuels from 2019 and 2023. Do you have any idea why this change was made? and do you consider needing to have both to complete your collection?
