    Rest in Peace, Mr. Collings
Thanks for the incredible instruments and raising the bar for the industry.

R.I.P Bill. Your loss is felt by so many. Your contributions and what you've done with instruments are legendary.

Just ordered mine OM2H T, had the privilege on touring Collings earlier this year and I was blown away. Wish I could’ve met Bill, his passion towards what he did and loved is why Collings is top notch.

Came here after randomly playing a collings om2ht in a store. It was the most spectecular guitar I ever played in any way, if you like that dry tone with less overtones. Just stunning.

"If you don't have that, you don't have a guitar!" Thank you Bill and all at Ccollings': you really "have that!"

I've been playing Collings since early '92, and they never fail to amaze and satisfy. Of course, I don't have 'em all, since I forgot to get rich, but always at least one from Austin in the house. Always. I have a serious jones for a traditional- probably D1, probably baked, but I'm flexible. My usual dealer is Jim Baggett at Mass Street Music, but Kim Sherman at Cotten is equally superb.

Alteranatively you can get into the Colling's Waterloo line for under 2K. My 14 fret ladder braced Waterloo is all about the fundamental tone, especially compared to my Collings OMBA-which is very piano sounding with rich overtones.

After seeing this I realized that guitars are not manufactured. They are built with passion, sweat, love and dedication! Love it. Anyone knows what’s Julian is playing in the background?

I have two Collings acoustics and one Bourgeois- all excellent. I wonder why no thermal- aged tops on these? More and more makers are doing that. I suspect that with 50 years plus of aging they all converge, but I don't think I have that much time left !

I love glimpsing into the guitar builder's brain. I find these videos compelling.

My D2H is the best guitar to ever leave the plant. It was a mistake for them to let it go.

I was enjoying the video right until you made that piano like guitar simile
That in it of itself was a, quite rude compelling reverse psychology, and especially the guy with the beard, how he just keeps giving these, extra comments just of his nit picks he likes and dislikes
I feel like you're adding too much, trying everything you can to compel the watcher
Now I like this guitar company idea, I love guitars, and I have great ears, I look at many guitars and how they sound, personally I like loud electric guitars, but when I like a guitar company, I first like sound quality, build quality, and modesty, no order, I like a company that just says
We make quality guitars, that's what we do
That's it, and Just okay you wanna talk sound? Okay let's explain and talk about tones,
I love modest companies, and btw
It has nothing at all to do with it just being an older guitar, sorry to burst your bubble, but no, that's not how it works, it just depends on how broken in the wood is, plain and simple
    I'm getting carried away
By the way, my favourite, Taylor Guitars
    I'm subscribing though
I like new companies, not the usual Martin or Gibson, or even Yamaha
