  • Erik Anders Lang visits the Promontory Club in Park City, Utah to talk with PGA Tour fan favorite, Tony Finau. EAL and Finau discuss a wide array of topics, including his early success at Augusta, what it's like to have Tiger Woods in his contacts, and his journey in discovering golf as a person of color. In this candid sit-down, Finau details how his mantra of "never give up" paid dividends in his seven-year struggle to become a PGA Tour player.

I remember back in his junior days, he hit a drive probably 400+ yds on multiple holes at Ogden CC. And it was effortless. If he could dial in his consistency he'd be the longest on tour, no question!! Such a legit dude!

32:32 - Tony is spot on about amateurs not playing the rules properly and having 'flattering' handicaps lol, there's a few 8 and 9 handicappers I know that should be off at least 15 if they didn't take a 'members bounce' on every other hole

  • @jasonlewis6914

It's crazy that he only has 1 win on tour. He should have at least a 5 or 6 wins. It's his putting that has stopped him from winning those tournaments
