Turns out it wasn't quite an arcade, but rather a "Gamecube Kiosk" and the thing I played was a demo of Super Mario Sunshine. It being a Demo threw me off when I was trying to figure out what it was, because it had a Stage Select, rather than a hub, so it couldn't be Sunshine right? However when I finally sat to play Sunshine, the stages that I played on the Kiosk eventually showed up, ending the confusion.
I don't remember how young I was when I played this game, but I can confidently say that watching this game today-as a 23-year-old adult male-feels like a nostalgic fever dream

Honestly I really wish this game got a remaster but sadly I doubt it would happen since this game was met with mixed responses. But if they remaster both BFBB and the Movie Video Game, and they want to do more and are allowed to, then they will probably either remaster lights camera pants, or this game.

I love the trippy warped concept of this game so much. The art design looks the best of anything in the series. It's just too bad that the levels themselves are uninspired and not that fun to play.

The Patrick level was one hell of a trip with the lack of sleep at like... 4 or 5 a.m. That one was also a very weird experience.

The Wii was basically just an upgraded GameCube (which explains the backwards compatibility) with motion controls and was easier to get a component cable for .
i thought this game came to me in a fever dream. the section with patrick being a superhero is burned into my memory, right down to the music and sound effects. its a relief knowing that it was a real game that i actually played as a kid

When I found out that BFBB was getting a remaster I remembered this game existed and I played it when I was a kid and me and my bro loved it! (I think it was on the ps2) The thing I remembered the most was the worm part. We found a glitch with the crain. The crain did move but only the texture of it moved and not the hit box so, we kept falling through the crain when it moved. We were stuck on it for hours and we couldn't finish the level until we restarted the game XD so, yeah we thought that it was something we were doing wrong in the level ha! But, anyway, I absolutely loved the crap out of this game, and I still do! It made me terrified, it made me happy, it made me angry in some parts, it made me confused and existed and now its making me have nostalgia! Next up is the Spongebob Movie game I'll be watching next! XD
