Thank you so much for the tour of your house. I loved that your house is built for comfort as mine is too. I think the nicest people in the world are animal lovers & you can’t keep an immaculate house with animals even if you wanted to. I love my animals & have always had animals I quite frankly wouldn’t have it any other way. However your house is a lot cleaner & tidier than mine & you have many more animals than I do. Loved seeing your framed stitching on the walls & also your cat room. ❤️❤️😍😘. Cheers,
Hey, Joan! Thanks so much for coming by to visit. We're definitely 'built for comfort', lol! I'm more than willing to trade an immaculate house for all the joy and comfort I get from my animals. Thanks again! Happy stitching!
Leslie, your home is lovely, it’s HOME isn’t it, and that’s what matters 💛 Loved your tour, your pieces, your so down to earth, friendly , & engaging.... It’s no wonder we follow you.., I loved your fur babes, I’m so allergic to 🐈 cats I have to have an inhaler ..., Sally is stunning & looks great in your entry ... Blessings Leslie...💛🎶🇺🇸🙏
Sharon Ann that is just such a lovely comment - thank you so much - you made my day! Bummer on being allergic to cats! Thanks so much for coming to visit. Happy stitching!
Leslie, you have a beautiful home. Thank you for taking the time to share it with us. I loved seeing your finished stitches hanging on the walls and of course the fur babies.
Houses totally should be built for comfort--I could never consider anything else home! And oh my gosh, your home is definitely NOT messy! You do such a beautiful job framing your pieces!
Thank you very much, Debi! I'm only a little embarrassed by the ball of cat fluff rolling across the floor in the video, lol! Thanks for coming to visit!
Thanks for the tour of your home, and it is defiantly Not messy, its homely. Loved seeing all the dogs and cats enjoying the space. I think harvest moon us my favourite favourite of your stitches, thanks again Leslie, until next time God Bless x
Thank you for sharing your lovely home! I love the idea of using a stand to hold your chart while stitching. I’m always trying to find a good spot to put it so i can see my chart, my stitching and flosstube all at the same time!
I really enjoyed this. Thank you for inviting us into your home and sharing your framed pieces with us. Harvest Gatherers is beautiful! I understand why it is your pride and joy.
Thanks for coming to visit, Lorrie! I wish I had more pieces from when I stitched before, but I gave almost everything I ever stitched away. Happy stitching!
Leslie, thank you for the tour. That was so much fun. LOVE your stitching spot, looks comfy. The kitty room is adorable. Take care and hope to see you soon.
Well that was fun! Your house reminds me of mine except I wish I had your wood floor. I like furniture at an angle like you and I love that blue chest with the words on it. And of course seeing all those beautiful cats was fun. Your stitched pieces all look so nice hanging. Its really fun to see what we've all watched being stitched, hanging up in homes.
Thank you so much, Brenda! I'm so glad you stopped by! When we bought the house a couple of years ago, it had 20+ year old nasty carpet, and carpet and a lot of cats is a poor mix. The floors are a wood-look tile, and I'm SO glad we went with it. It looks nice and cleans up really well, and because we got the tile at a 2nd chance wholesale place, it didn't break the bank!
Thank you for inviting us into your beautiful home. Loved all of your wonderful pieces but where do you store all of the other beautiful pieces I see in your videos? Maybe like mine, in a box. Haha. I have wanted to start the gatherers for years, but know I don't have enough time to finish it. Happy stitching!
Hi, Shirley! I'm so glad you stopped by. I have a project roll that the rest of my finished pieces are living in. I hope to get more of them FFO'd one of these days! You should definitely do the Earth Gatherers. It is a lovely stitch. I finished it back in 2000. I think I stitched on it pretty monogamously for about a year, although I was still working fulltime plus at that point, so didn't get tons of stitching time.
Thank you so much, Betty! I pin my stitching, using Teresa (kittenstitcher) tutorial. The Promise was professionally framed at a little shop in Victoria, TX more than 20 years ago. I didn't thrift that one, or stretch/frame it myself. Thanks for coming to visit.
I know this is an older video, but if you see this, what stand are you using for your magnetic board and pattern? I've been looking for something like that.
Hey! You timed it right - I was sitting here at the computer, lol! My magnetic board came from The Shepherd's Needle in Little Rock, 501-221-6990. They are great at phone orders and shipping, or you can probably find it on their website www.shepherdsneedle.com/ I actually hang my pattern from the clip on my Ottlite. Thanks for watching!
Hey, I hope you're doing well. Yes, I breed/show Birman cats. I don't currently have any kittens that are not spoken for, but hope to have several litters within the next few months if all goes as planned. I do have a waiting list, so if you're interested, please get in contact. Happy stitching!
Hey, MaryJo! LOL, yes, I loves me some Shepherd's Bush! You're so lucky to have them local to you! Thank you so much for your kind comment. Happy stitching!
Hi Leslie it’s funny my house is the same way it’s built for comfort not for showing off I have blankets over my coaches because of my animals I have toys all over the place and we have the same floor stand And like never Thought about using my Stand just to hold my iPad and pattern if I put my work on it oh noTravels my cat likes to lay on it and use it like a Hamic
We're all about the comfort, lol! I should have taken the quilts off, but I just forgot. We keep them on the couch to keep the dogs from trashing it any more than necessary. Your Travels sounds like a hoot! Thanks for coming to visit!

Lovely home. Your framing is perfect. Do you pin or lace? How did you find such a perfect frame for The Promise? That is amazing. Tyyou for the tour.
