@@joshualake4882 the 3.0 diesel is going to cause a lot of people a lot of problems. Avoid the new 3.0
This is my favorite look and configuration (being double cab) for the Sierra. I just wish they'd offer the 6.2L for the Elevation.

I went to look at this V8 at my local dealership today (3-30-2024). Loved the ride of the vehicle. The exterior in white in my opinion is great. I agree....this Elevation V8 is the sweet spot. Thank you for the review.

@@brandonmcfarland5200 My 04 ram 4.7 had 235hp and 300tq and it did everything I needed...we are spoiled with the power these days lol. They should make a supercharged version though to compete with TRX and Raptor

@@kevincuevas2737 5.3. i have the 2.7 in my single cab long bed chevy work truck. it's great for that truck since i don't tow, but id never want it in a crew max sierra.

That’s one beautiful truck very elegant interior, I always preferred the double cab as tested here over the crew cab, it just looks better that the bed is bigger than the cab but that’s just me.
I agree. Huge cabs with tiny beds look so silly...

Nothing. They actually removed ambient lighting and heated steering wheel. Plats lost the lay flat and massaging seats.
@@davidzambrano9126 Yes, very disappointing. I went ahead and purchased the ambient lighting cup holders, cubby area light, and digital temp dials and will install them myself on my '22 plat. Penny pinching on an $87,000 truck is plain wrong.

I test drove an Elevation yesterday. I had never considered a GMC product before. The exterior appearance is what caught my attention. I think it looks great. However, I wasn’t impressed beyond that. My immediate impressions: The interior is “old-school, General Motors fancy.” Some of you will know what I mean. It looks and feels like my mother-in-law’s old Buick. From a performance standpoint, I was disappointed. I accelerated hard several times and drove it on the highway at a higher speed. The learning moment for me: It’s still a four cylinder. You can add all the performance-enhancing technology, but it’s still a four cylinder. It sounds and feels like a four cylinder trying to be more than that. For anyone who wants a little more substance, a little more “bite,” this isn’t it. I have to believe the next-level 5.3 V8 would be perfect. In terms of price, it looks like there are some good deals starting to be available on this truck. I would not pay $55k to $60k for it, but I’ve seen a few online at $49k or so, and that seems like it could be a great value to the buyer who is really happy with this truck. With all that said, I respect that this could be the right fit for many. It’s just not the right fit for me.
