OP, you need to keep yourself informed of Parker's status. Given prison overcrowding situations, he may get out a lot earlier than his sentence may indicate. Given his personality traits, he may come looking for you again and he'll likely be very unhappy with you. I would suggest you keep all your social media settings set to private and be careful to never reveal your actual location. He does know computers, so that would be his first choice for trying to find you again. Hopefully he will have learned, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Parker is just proof why the 2A is there for women like OP to be able to defend themselves from nutbags like him. Police on average depending on the size of the city/township and size of the police force (with all the 🦬💩 defunding) is anywhere from 20-40 minutes away and a lot can happen in that time span. OUR ONLY 1ST RESPONDER DEFENSE IS OURSELVES AS PROVIDED BY THE 2A. Unfortunately anti-gun and the current administration doesn't understand this and think the 2A is only about hunting.
They WANT US DEFENSELESS against nutbags like Parker and dependent on government so they can control us. England tried in 1776 they failed, then tried again in 1812 and failed AGAIN.

Parker doesn't deserve any remorse because he obviously didn't learn his lesson since this was the THIRD time he was caught up in stalking charges. That shows an uncaring to the well being of these poor women he stalks. OP definitely keep an eye on him so you know when he's released from jail (might get out early due to overcrowding or something else) and limit how much info you have on social media.

I do not feel bad for Parker at all, stalkers deserve no sympathy, especially since in most cases they turn violent, there's a reason stalking is a crime

  • @majorkilljoy

It all depends on the situation for me because I've kind of been there. I only found out a couple of years ago that I was autistic and as anyone who knows about the condition, we struggle to understand social situations and making friends. I had kind of made friends with this girl I caught the bus to college and after a while I couldn't figure out why she was getting angry and distant from me. Looking back I see my actions were starting to lean towards stalking. I didn't mean to make her feel uncomfortable but it is what it is. But if you do know what you're doing then no sympathy

  • @albertgongora6944
    @albertgongora6944 2 года назад +14

I'm just going to say it I have no sympathy for creeps like Parker because clearly they know what they're doing by stocking this person and trying everything they can to have them to themselves and there's nothing wrong with them because they choose to follow this Behavior especially when concerning people tell them that this is wrong and they need to stop this and they choose not to it shows that they know what they're doing so it's a good thing he is in jail and the fact that this happened with more than one person says a lot about him as well and yeah is it a shame that he is such a brilliant person yes but this really a person knew what they were doing

From Parker’s point of view he was under the belief that he was “in love” as he seemed to come off as more emotional than simply get a cheap physical thrill. The problem is this creep lacked the self awareness to realize “hey maybe since this girl blocked me she’s not really into me” but nope, he doubles down on the crazy with horrifying results. This very nearly could’ve ended up in psycho killer territory, where she finds herself duct taped at a dinner table with Parker asking if she’s ready for dinner, ready to carve up the beef Wellington he’d made, only for the OP to wriggle loose because Parker sucks at life and barely escapes as he launches the knife her. From there it’s barely a challenge for the physically superior Parker to catch her at a stream and attempt to drown her while crying like a pussy and confessing his feelings of love and devotion. Then she manages to desperately grab a rock and bash his brains back to normal and knock him out, after which she makes her escape and the events play out like it ended!

Parker was clearly obsessed, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned into a Yandere. His obsession is what led him to do crazy and stupid things. That guy clearly should’ve been put in a mental hospital because clearly he has an obsession that is beyond his control.

Parker is a creep and deserved what he got. However, OP was either extremely naive, or she somewhat intentionally led him on. Sure, the story is meant to show OP did all she could, but I find it hard to believe she kept ignoring all those warning signs out of honest naivety. Objectively, there are likely more sides to this story.

@@transsnack Yeah. I get it, a victim is a victim and, per this story, OP is definitely a victim here. Yes, Parker is a sociopath who deserves to be separated from society, and yes, no means no at any point! All true, but this is no reason to drop objective reasoning though. At every point in our existence, our own choices play pivotal roles in the paths our lives take - OP and Parker are not exceptions to this rule. There is never just one side to any story, and neither you nor I know the full breadth of this one.

@@calebmatthews7268 yes its not rare for people to switch jobs but listen to OP, they made it sound as if that is all people do. there were suprised to see him still working for the same company after all these years. like OP went to college, got an internship at the company, took a year or too off from the company, came back and he was still ther, then OP moved to NYC, stayed there for a few years and then went back to CA because of a job offer from the company and OP was shocked to see him still there.

I’m only 14 minutes in and as creepy as this guy is, he is obviously psychotic, why is she going to dinner with him? As much as he is the creep, there are numerous times where this girl goes against her completely right gut feeling and continues to put her self in this guys life. And how the hell dis she not immediately realize that Parker was in part responsible or at least aware about her moving back to Cali for that job? I hope in the rest of the story Parker gets less creepy, doubtful, and that op wisens up, also doubtful.

I don't feel sorry for Parker at all because I don't think this story is real.
Number one stalking is not a federal crime unless it crosses over state lines. Unless she left our major Details, nothing he did would be federal stalking.
Number 2, if she did leave out details that made it a federal crime then the 3 strikes law from California wouldn't matter because California laws don't apply to federal crimes.
Third, getting 2 restraining orders and a new felony stalking wouldn't impact the 3 strikes law. They have to be CONVICTED of at least 2 "serious or violent" felonies before getting a 3rd "serious and violent" felony. While a felony stalking conviction can count, having inky restraining orders does not.
Fourth, nothing she described outside of the putting her in a vehicle while passed out is really all that actionable let alone as a FELONY. Maybe a misdemeanor but even then, it's pretty loosey goosey. California requires following/harassment AND a threat placing the person in fear for his or her safety or for the safety of family.
Once you add in the "federal crime" and "three strikes with no convictions" and it's obvious this is bullcrap.

  • @JoltaeAndwae

Like... I know stalkers are serious and stuff but the way the story reads to me is that she was titulated about a lot of the stuff that happens.
Or that she had the mentality- within the situatuon, not towards the end- that "*sigh* another man is obsessed with me *huff*"
Because I can't see myself or any people that I know in a situation where I'm LEGITIMATELY creeped out by a guy to the extent that I block him on all socials (even though it did sound like she blocked and unblocked him before going back to work?) then going on a 'work date date' without any other co-workers and *in addition* allowing him to drop me off in front of my house.
I know people are raised different but the whole story just sounds like a lack of self-presevation from the off.

Op sounds kinda dumb in the stalker story. Why didn’t she ever report the stalker to her employer before she left for new york. Lord knows who else he got away with harassing cause of ops silence. Then when op started to get a bad vibe when her old cali job asked her to come back, why didn’t she ask them if her stalker was still there? And then op agreed to go to on a date with the stalker after all the bs he pulled? And then says shes not interested in dating him innthe middle of an actual date. Op could have avoided alot of drama but didn’t. She actually started leading him on at some parts. Both op and the stalker should be fired. Most likely to make this a more interesting fan fic. Plus the fact that op didn’t sue the company that enabled her stalker and continued working for them makes this story sound fake. The company was made aware of him stalking her and did nothing as he grabbed her and kidnapped her while she was screaming at the top of her lungs for help. Where was security? How was he allowed to carry an unconscious woman from the office to his car with nobody noticing? The company would have been sued for millions, especially in california. Way too many plot holes here.

So, the woman in the stalker story was not innocent. 1. After he was "Creepy* towards her, after she admitted she liked the attention, she STILL went back to work there a second time. THEN she befriends the guy, who apparently wasnt that creepy. Then, after she moves away, she remains in contact with him. Then, she takes a job at teh same company, and theres no way in hell she didnt look up to see if he was still there. She got the job because of him. So, she moves across the country to work at teh same company. Then, she went on a date with him. At no point, ever, did she say, "I have zero interest in you. I do not want to date you. At best we can be friends, but I will never, ever, ever date you or see you in a romantic way." Instead she lies, makes excuses, and avoids telling him a definitive no.
