I thought I could relax when I house went up in December but then I had months of struggle with service companies. Getting electric, water and internet was an uphill battle. Please don't leave this until after your house is delivered. We applied months in advance and still don't have everything connected. This causes problems for Danwood who can't finish the 2nd fix without connections.
We have 4 x 8 yd skips for one of the smaller houses.

Our house was delivered last week - yes the week in which we had not one, not two, but three storms! It was very stressful but to their credit, the Danwood guys plus the crane contractor and the two guys with the tractors who did the transhipping were amazing. They were still putting all the pieces together despite the driving rain and gale force winds.
We also cheated a bit on the extra stuff by buying a caravan to use as a welfare / toilet unit which we'll sell on afterwards, using an outbuilding for storage and retrieving and recycling as much of the waste as possible. Good luck on the 7th!

    Good day to You Harry,
First of all it’s nice to watch Your House- build adventure and things you talking about should be helpful for those who want to build -not only with Danwood.
Danwood has started building our house last year on 14-01-2021. That was first winter with snow since 3 years 😊. Over all they were solid and problemless. At day one I was on the site for 14h, we had some problems, first with the crane and the powerline, then with the truck no.3 who was stuck in mood ( I prepared the ground, but melting snow and heavy trucks is not a great combination) and I was organizing a tractor from a farmer to pull it out on the road. On the next days, after work, its really nice to watch how quickly things change. Danwood has finished our house in time only for the outside finish we had to wait for some time because the weather was bad. We moved in on 28-05-2021 then everything was finished.
We have floor heating and a Nibe Air pomp, it’s great combination because of the money safe. In our old house we had gas and it was much more expensive but there is one thing about the air pomp what is a “minus”. With the gas heating when it was to cold in the house you push a + button and in one hour it was ok, with the air pump it takes about 12h - but we used to that and after view days it was good. We are very happy with the house and Danwood (if I ever want to build a house again -then only Danwood). Oh and we have some small cracks after the winter, mostly on wall and ceiling connection, but it is normal. I will wait to the end of summer and then I will repair it and paint again. For trush i had: 2 x 2,7m3 and 1x 6m3 skip. Greetings Martin
