I've seen a lot of positive reviews about this controller. I think the only thing it's missing is swappable mini-sticks. Think of the Victrix BFG or Thrustmaster ESwap family of controllers.
people are saying it's plastic and doesn't feel as premium as the elite controller. But as long as it lasts longer than the elite controller then I'm fine with it. My one elite controller 2 broke by itself just sitting in it's case 🙃 the grips randomly came unglued. And over the years I've had 5 elite controller 1s and 3 elite controller 2s bumpers stop working on me (stop and start working). So I'd rather have plastic that works than metal that fails
I'm a bare bones guy, I really focus on stuff that works. In this controller, you have hall effects thumbsticks and microswitches, those will work for a LONG TIME - hopefully. Elite 2 is hit or miss for a lot of folks. I had the elite 2 for a few weeks, worked fine, gave it to my brother. I've heard countless stories of the Elite 2 failing on folks which is why they (Microsoft) had to reintroduce a repair initiative for those controllers. Microsoft should release and Elite 3 with hall effects and microswitches. I actively use the Victrix controllers (Gambit and Pro BFG). Tread lightly with Elite 2. Happy gaming.
It's a joy. If you're used to the Elite 2, it'll be a bit jarring at first because it is MUCH lighter. It's pretty much all plastic whereas Elite 2 was mostly rubber and metal. So it doesn't "feel" as quality. Also, the back buttons don't feel as comfortable as the metal paddles of the Elite 2. But if you can past all that, it's very nice. Obviously with Hall Effect and mouse click buttons it should last much longer. The screen is actually very nice, not just a silly gimmick which is what I was worried it would be. Oh no swappable thumbsticks either but as long as the Hall Effect works as it should, I'll take that trade-out. the RGB is sick if you're into that. Still love my Elite 2 but I'll probably main the Stealth Ultra for a long time since im now used to it and it feels great
@@Dacoolkid4795You either got a defected controller or don't understand how to set it up. If you're on Xbox, you have to connect the charging dock that comes with it to your Xbox via USB. Then, plug in the Dongle to the charging dock. Turn on your Xbox and Stealth Ultra and it will connect. You cant just put the dongle into the Xbox.
That doesn't make sense. Imma need to see some proof to back this statement up tbh. Not saying it 100% cannot happen but they're hall effect modules so that's the main selling point: no stick drift. Personally I've had mine for a week with no issues and the sticks consistently without fail reset back to a resting value of 0.00002.

BFG and Gambit are still my go-to controllers.
U can change everything thrue the screen it does more than the app...
Copy that.
Nerf app - make screen important - got it *thumbs up*
I copped this and I believe it’s
Worth it. The only downside that I see, is that the d-pad sits a bit too low into the controller.
Thanks for sharing that insight.
Dreamcast was ahead of its time. PS does not have hall joysticks, and also have bad stick drift
PS2 had hall effect. But yeah, as of right now, no console comes with a standard controller with hall effect. It's like we're going backwards
Dreamcast is still thinking...
a big minus in no usb plug near the headphone jack, so cannot plug in wireless controller into the joypad, like I have on my joystick
Has anyone been able to get it to connect in Steam Deck? The pairing comes up but it does not connect whatever I try to do.
Haven't heard anything about this yet but if I do, I'll report back.

Makes sense. My go-to are Victrix controllers, they've held up pretty well. Gambit and PRO BFG.
Hows it compare to the elite 2?

Controller is junk. Can’t even get it to connect

I though u already had used the controller? I already knows everything u said in ur video....thanks though👍
You're welcome. Cheers.
This controller gets stuck drift rlly fast 200$ a waste tbh
Really.

You can recalibrate the sticks. No more stick drift.
