    The lucy was found in COLORADO. Several people got in legal trouble for having them.
    The sable and the swiss will be the same thing when he finally breeds to to a sable.

    • @amybarratt4227
      @amybarratt4227 2 года назад

      The swiss and sable have been proven to be two completely different recessive genes! A swiss and sable were paired and produced all normals.

      @@amybarratt4227 this post is a year old! Swiss does the same thing as sable. The combos thus far has been the same looking animals.

    • @amybarratt4227
      @amybarratt4227 2 года назад

      @@tbmreptiles7384 I know it's a year old! They are not the same looking animals in the slightest. There are major differences. The swiss/toffee and swiss/albino combos look way more saturated and bright than mai tais and sunbursts. There are a bunch of hypo and albino genes but all have very different looks. It's the same with sable and swiss, and i'd even go to say they look way different compared to an albino and ppa or a toffee and a evans hypo.

    Great video! Have you heard of leucistic being mixed with anything other than albino so far? Those is the only leucistic combo I have seen for sale at least. I have a pair of het leucistics that I am raising up with the hopes of making double and triple hets and maybe someday more visual combos. Currently working with axanthic, sable, lavender, and albino!

    • @shovelnosehogs

      Jeff Galewood has produced arctic and super arctic Lucy's. I think Evans hypo has been mixed as well. There's some breeders that are going to see how sable interacts with it

    What’s t positive albino n T negative !?

    • @shovelnosehogs
      @shovelnosehogs  2 года назад +2

      I don't really understand it completely. From my knowledge the T stands for tyrosinase which is an enzyme responsible for melanin produce. I think a traditional albino hognose is classified as a T negative albino and caramel & toffee are T positive albinos

    What does T+ and T- mean please?

    • @shovelnosehogs
      @shovelnosehogs  4 года назад +1

      I'm not a 100% sure what the difference between those are. When I get a better understanding, I'll make a video

    • @ErwinNieuwenburg
      @ErwinNieuwenburg 4 года назад +2

      T+ means it has the tryosinase enzyme (which is a catalyst for melanine) T- means it actually lacks that enzyme.
      Basicly this means T+ can still have some black/grey-ish in their scales or eyes and T- will not.
