Taito has Space Invaders and the Bubble Bobble. Id say their bona-fides are way up there. Part of the legends of JPN arcades imo. Its just under Namco and Capcom but above Sega and Snk. (Konami is just out of the top 5. Barely.)

Sure, they definitely have their legendary titles, but I find those are what people tend to focus on when talking about Taito. But they did a lot of top shelf stuff like this that tends to get forgotten.

25:40 annoyingly enough clearing multiple maps first is one of the requirements to access the True Last Boss for the good ending, so you need to put in a good amount of cash there! At least, until the PS1 port came out.
And for better or for worse, a single run is as short as Psikyo games' first loops. Not sure if we should call it good design or money grubby, lol!

I mean hey, it was for the arcades after all. 🤣

The fact this is only on PS4 and Switch is disappointing. It should have been released for PC right off the bat, regardless if they release it a year from now on PC/Xbox. I just don't understand why these companies release on Switch/PS4 but not PC or PS5/Xbox.

Darius Cozmic Collection, and G-Darius HD was eventually ported to PC so hopefully they port this collection over soon.
