Still working on builds for this thing, this was a first look.
After testing this weapon it felt like its a worse torid in any circunstance. Also the homing lasers seen tô always target an enemy you are not aiming at. Will test it furtherr but it seems meh
tdlr - I'm disappointed.
I ran boar prime for a very long time and left it behind when the changes to shotguns came and it lost its' golden 100% sc place. They screwed up the status chance on this incarnon evolution because it doesn't change the base status and that's pushing it straight to full crit. This means that now boar incarnon joins the club of the viralHM club with all the rest, and it has to compete with torid which does the exact same thing. In addition the beam targets enemy midsection (like abilities that automatically target enemies, saryns' 4 for example) so you have to make a special effort to make head shots.
I was hoping they'd maybe give it raw damage or something, so the boars' mod design of something between a status spreader and a hard hitting weapon will be kept. I feel like I lost this weapon to the meta.

Why would you use frail momentum over shotgun barrage? both give +90% fire rate, but frail momentum has -15% damage...?

You’ll have a hard time landing headshots with the beams, primary merciless would be a more consistent option
Made the change to dexterity and using glaive prime or a contagion zaw i just hate merciless

@@waliedsalam2487 Its about how much work i need to put on to have its effect at max, usually we trade base dmg for It so If i have a weapon with a slow ramp up im literally f'ed cuz the first kills will be a pain. If im using dexterity i need 1 melee kill every 20 seconds to keep It maxed and lets be honest that with a contagion zaw or glaive prime that is no problem, as for deadhead is one headshot kill every 24 s and you only need 3 so its pretty viable for most weapons, either you keep It up all the time or armor strip a few and get It up for a good time. As for merciless is 4seconds and i know the % damage loss is proly close on time for each of them but o just feel better knowing that i have 20-40 or 24-48 seconds to get a kill and maintain or get back to full buff than to have to kill every 4-8 with it
While the weapon is pretty good ill never use it. Its inncarnon mode it's better than the torid and regular mode not better than the strun. You don't owe one of those weapons then it a great weapon to have but if you own them both like me this thing goes back to never seeing the light of day once you have had your fun.

I thought that incarnon mode will be loaded by body shots, nope, still i give a chance, but - torrid makes it better and rly that chain is weird. Not bad weapon at all but nothing special.
