    Awesome! I have been using Anode cages since I started e-forming. I use cut offs from copper clippings. Wire cut offs. Literally anything. you can even use all the copper cut offs to make your work have less scraps and waste

      I was tired of changing wires every time that the electrodes were done, and I also literally have a bucket full of half corroded pipes that finally I can use. Don't forget to contact me for the gift.

    Hello , first thank you for precious advices , I have a question , why we must hav use the filter bag ?

    • @cuforming
      @cuforming  Год назад +1

      Thank you, I'm happy to help. The anode bag is for filtering sludge and small particles produced by the anode. I use an Italian polyester textile called "pannolenci". It's a synthetic kind of felt but softer. Maybe it's the same material of craft felt like this one amzn.to/49b8uvZ

      Since I got this, I stopped buying new anodes, I'm using all the scraps I've collected these years.

    Would this process be helpful to purify impure tin to pure(99%) tin

    • @cuforming
      @cuforming  5 месяцев назад +1

      It needs to be made specifically for tin.

    Is it possible to electroform larger objects than jewelry?

    • @cuforming
      @cuforming  7 месяцев назад +1

      You can electroform any kind and size of object as long as you have enough space to do it.

      @@cuforming Thanks. I haven't seen any YT videos on anything much larger than rings or pendants, even though some of the tanks were multi-gallon size, so I was wondering.
      Thanks for the titanium tip. I plan to try it soon. Thanks again.

      @@lawrencediggs7957 I made something bigger than jewelry, a candleholder ruclips.net/video/GwJMMj3g2oI/видео.html and a decorated bottle ruclips.net/video/1pbUiljuDBg/видео.html. I wished I had a bigger tank there because I really struggled doing those objects.
