They had been locked for near 18 months - for everyone's safety. St Pancras has set some rules for their "Pianos Are Bach" (see what they did there!). *Wear a face covering, sanitise your hands before and after, and don't sing* - basically it's to stop any virus being transferred from hands and fingers on the piano keys. So this is really an ask for anyone who uses public pianos - you know the rules, please follow them. It's not only for your and our safety, but also so that the public pianos can stay open. Especially those on RUclips that actually use these pianos (including me!) - look after them. *Respect the rules, respect the pianos* It really is a basic common courtesy

This is a beautiful piece Cole, I am not familiar with this artist but I found your rendition very calming. It was a joy to listen to. Sensible precautions too - how long does it take? It makes you think that even when it is not a requirement, it is not a bad idea to observe a bit of good hygiene practice in the future. Perhaps you should have wiped those top keys after the child had played them before you started!!??!!
