I tried playing blindfolded at home during a Livestream, so I thought I would take it to a complete other level by playing blindfolded in public whilst taking requests live on Facebook Live. Check it out - my dad finally worked out how to do Facebook Live, and was taking requests. I was at St Pancras on the public piano, just before the Arsenal game, and it was my final bit before we had to go to the stadium. Started with River Flows In You, and off it went!
Yeah that's cool, Cole. It's when you made your audience guess the title of the songs you played while blind folded with the thingy merch ( that was just delivered to your house) 😊 Excellent. We Had fun watching you, awesome! 😊

That was ultimate edition! Very impressive and I guess this could be some very well training technique. Not just in term of skills but also patience, nerves, controlling body temperature and also maybe controlling a fear when not seeing anything just hearing and accepting instructions.
I was a professional singer in my younger days and had a blind pianist accompany me during my Asian tour. You reminded me of him because he also played by ear and he was as superb as you. I used to get requests of different songs and he can also play them so well like you You made my heart sing! Teary eyed.

Young people in particular gathered to you. I jumped when the camera fell. Extremely skilled and entertaining performance. I don't know why I should be amazed as you know that I think you can do anything if you put your mind to it. I find the range of music that you included in this 15 minute slot quite incredible. Who would have thought that "Rocking All Over The World" would have a place alongside Beethoven's "Fur Elise" or his "Moonlight Sonata" and then back to Bohemian Rhapsody or Pirates of the Caribbean. You really ought to do more of these, it really drew the crowds. Great Stuff.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE COLE, As other have said, it certainly attracted a crowd. Some might say "So what, Stevie Wonder can't see the keys" but Stevie Wonder has never been able to see the keys, that is a whole lot different to somebody like you, who has learned classical piano, from virtually a baby, being able to associate the position of the keys to the sound they make. It is all very well having perfect pitch but yo have to know where the keys are. Great Stuff Cole, really entertaining, and yo couldn't breathe properly either.

This is most impressive! As a piano player and huge fan of Ray Charles I always wonder... are you picturing the keyboard in your mind at all? Is it somehow by feel or just flat out muscle memory? Lastly is it something you practice or think it is beneficial to practice. That must be one proud Papa! Big fan, keep up the good work...
It's a gimmick really. Once you get to a certain level even with your eyes open, you can't see both hands at the same time with some pieces. So you already are playing and know where to play without looking. But it does feel odd putting a blindfold on, once you are used to it, it is fine
