What???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe that!!! Those are fabulous ideas!!!!!!! Where have you been all my life?????? 😂 Ingenious!!!!! 😆 Sign me up, baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🌷
Lots of beautiful quilts. I had no idea one could stitch so many wonderful blocks on the longarm. I'm so anxious to dig through my scraps and give it a go!
Hi. I loved seeing you do this. I had never seen anyone QAYG on the long arm. What a great way get a project done when you are crunching time. Thanks. I subscribed. Can't wait to see more.
I often make scrappy quilts, being my fav. With the recent acquisition of a long arm QAYG will save me lots of time and frustration. Gonna try this today!
I will have to try this. I had wondered and thought I would experiment with it. The constant music is very distracting and not needed though. Thanks for the video!
You have rocked my world! I cant wait to do this! I have been given peoples extra blocks and scraps and this is such a Lovely way to make them quickly into quilts. I shall be busy!!! and pleasantly so. Thanks again!
I had not seen a quilt pieced.and quilted on the long arm all ar one time before and i loved it, That gets the job done all at once, how clever and smart. I will sure try that.😊❤😮 How exciting!!!!!!!!
There are great possibilities with this method. Other projects? I see improve piecing, adding left-over pieced blocks, etc. It look easy and fun. Love your bright colors.
I did this on my sewing machine when using scraps to make mats for the SPCA. I think this is a great idea. I am going to do this on my longarm. Would love to see with contrast theead just for demonstration. Thank you.
Sandy Allen, It's a wonderful concept, and I do appreciate Leanne sharing this, but...I tried this method today and was very disappointed with how the back of the quilt looked. I ended up ripping out the first entire "block" (messy and very time consuming, to say the least) and added a completed quilt top to work on instead.
I think it would be wise to use a very busy backing when using this method. Maybe match the bobbin thread color to the back, for better blending. And also, I think a little economy planning of the stitch path would prevent a lot of “scribbling” on the back. (I haven’t tried it yet, tho.) I was thinking this would be a great way to make a picnic or car quilt, to experiment on; then could refine the technique after, or even as you go. 🌷
Beautiful, But I would drive myself nuts trying to decide what fabric to put on next, that would match, etc.... One of my granddaughters would love to do it this way, so will show her. Thanks for sharing
I love this technique. I just order my Longarm yesterday, 21X Elite. How long did you make the quilt. I am new to all of this, but I can't wait to get started.

I would be interested to know how the quilting looks on the back.

Looks like great fun and a wonderful way to practice some new motifs. Have you done other projects with this method? Tote bags, pillows, etc?
I love this technique. I just order my Longarm yesterday, 21X Elite. How long did you make the quilt. I am new to all of this, but I can't wait to get started.
Did you add backing later? Or, if you are using an entire sandwich as you go, what does the back look like?
Can you please explain if you just loaded the batting onto the frame? Or is there batting and the backing?
What does the back look like
Does it not have a bobbin indicator that it’s almost empty?
we need the binding video, Please.
There is a binding video at the end of the Bernina Qmatic edge to edge and binding video...
Seems like the back of the quilt might look pretty lmessy.
Can you show the back
Music is quite annoying and distracting.
It would be nice to not have the music it is really not needed.
I love watching, but music is not necessary.
Please DO NOT ADD MUSIC. It's distracting from your instructions.
