95' and 2000's snakepit are so different should have kept Eric Dover and his epic raw voice and kept doing album with ('cause all the potential never shown is a fucking loss)and probably would have been better that his so so apocayptic love) that's what is missing in Myles voice.... too polished....
You know there is only one man who could carry the burden of being Slahs' frontman: Sebastian Bach. And while they're at it they could just take the stylings of Snakepit and run with it. The world is desperate for it. Back-to-basics blues rock by the elite class. ...well, I can keep dreaming, right =)
I agree that snakepit was better, but VR are fucking great too, and as far as i'm concerned the best band around right now. Fall to pieces, slither, sucker train blues, just sixteen, gravedancer, headspace.... all great songs, and others too. Btw, not all of the snakepit songs were originally intended for gnr. Some of them were (beggars and hangers-on for instance), but this was a side band and they wrote music for themselves
