Thanks for this video! The Tempest's ambience does wonders in settling down some anxiety. ME:A may not meet the standards that the original trilogy set, but I still have a big soft spot for it, and after my last playthrough a year ago I find myself missing the Tempest crew more & more.
The Tempest's ambient sounds and music really feels like home to me. I replayed MEA during one of the worst times of my life and it genuinely saved my life, I think. Can't wait for ME5, I hope the fact that it's a sequel to the OT and MEA means we'll get to see the old girl again some day even if it's just a cameo :')
Love this wonderful compilation of ambiences. Very thought provoking and mysterious indeed. 1:00:00 I can't help but think how that guy's back would be in bits later on or tomorrow, if he was real. Terrible ergonomics for the distant future 😕🥴🙃
What makes Andromeda such a disappointing game is that it had so much potential. I actually think the game is still quite enjoyable, it's just so let down by the sub par writing. Its atmosphere and gameplay is superb, just wish the writing was more consistently thoughtful. Some of the side characters are great (Drack, Vetra) but others feel so flimsy or outright unlikeable (Peebee, Liam). And the main plot was very cliche and a huge letdown, imo. Still looking forward to ME4 and hope BioWare can bring back the magic, but Andromeda was ultimately disappointing.

I liked all of the ME series but I think Andromeda is the best one. Kinda hard to say. Me2 is probably the best out of the OG stuff.
